On time & the car only had 7000kms on the clock. Disappointed there were no floor mats , which meant it was hard to keep clean inside. Staff were great, car was great, price was great.

Pleasant experience
Staff were friendly and the shuttle bus pickup was seamless however the car we were given (MG) was awful. The vehicle felt sluggish and it felt uncomfortable on the roads. There seemed to be a flat spot on one of the tyres which you could hear and feel whilst driving. I had booked my hire car late 2025 in the hope of getting a KIA Stonic as shown on booking but was given an MG. As we only hired the car for 2 days I didn’t feel the need to address my concerns but in future I will definitely check before driving off.

I hired a car and from the minute I walked in the office everything was handled very smoothly. A very pleasant lady handled my booking and made me feel comfortable . The vehicle traveled well and on my return the friendly bus driver checked the car and then took me to the airport. No hassles at all. Thank you for such good service.

The pre-authorisation will automatically be released by Bargain Car Rentals 72 hours after the vehicle has been returned.
A pre-authorisation is a temporary transaction where a set amount of funds from a credit card or debit card is put on hold. The pre-authorisation is frozen in your account in the event we need to process payment for damage, or any outstanding charges post vehicle return such as traffic infringement fees, etc.
Once the holding period lapses, the freeze will release and the $500 will be available for you to access. If you cannot see $500 pending on your statement, this means the funds are back to the available balance.
You will not see a credit or refund in your account when you have access to these funds as the money did not leave your account.
Should the funds not be available to you after this period, please contact your bank for more information.

Hi Jameson,
The return time for a holding deposit with us is always 72 hours from the return of the vehicle.
With these you do not see a withdraw and deposit as we void the pending transaction that was holding the money with your bank.
If you do not see that pending transaction from the day you picked up the vehicle it should be back in your available balance, if it is still there after the 72 hour period it is best to give your bank a contact as we have automatically released it or notified you of any reason we would keep hold of it.
While we do always ask if you want to take up the liability cover options directly with us interactions around this are taken seriously and are always passed onto the appropriate internal teams to follow up on.

Efficient process
Timely pickup of me and my luggage from the airport and taken directly to the car rental depot. Options about insurance explained well. Car rental process was fast. Car was ready and clean.
Returning the vehicle was fast and easy. They then took me and my luggage directly to the airport.
