My go-to car rental in Launny
Easy and straightforward process with great deals on rentals. This is my 3rd time renting and i’ve tried small compact, med SUV and large SUV range and all have been of good quality and had no issues in the approx upto 1 week of usage. Clean, affordable and well maintained cars.
Approachable staff and we got picked up via shuttle relatively quickly. Will always be my go-to whenever i’m in Launceston

Smooth and hassle-free service
Smooth and hassle-free service from start to finish. The airport shuttle service was excellent, and the driver was very patient and helpful, even assisting us with loading our luggage into the van. We hired a Subaru Forester, which drove well and offered great value for money. Overall, a very positive experience, and I would definitely recommend this company to others.

The airport pickup was quick and simple…
The airport pickup was quick and simple along with the check in to pick up the car.
I was asked to take out insurance on the car, which always confuses me since the car is already insured. Feels like a scam since I'd be stung $5500 even if it's not my fault.
That aside,, the car was excellent to drive and better than I was expecting.
The drop off could not have been easier. Someone came to meet me in the carpark, did a quick inspection, released the deposit and got the airport shuttle to wait for me.
Brilliant all round !

We understand your concerns regarding the insurance options, and we appreciate you sharing your feedback on that. We're very sorry that the conversation at the depot was confusing. We are required to inform our customers of any risks they're taking, so regarding the third-party insurance, this product is not related to Bargain Car Rentals, and this is where the confusion lies. It cannot reduce your excess, and if an accident occurs, all excesses and fees are payable to us.
You can then file a claim to be reimbursed through the third-party insurance provider. We do then have to advise you of the conditions of the basic level of coverage, so you're aware of what you could be paying to be reimbursed at a later date.
It's wonderful to know that the car exceeded your expectations and that you had such a brilliant overall experience.

Thank you, great car, excellent quality, super clean, efficient and friendly service and great value! It will be good when the new carpark is built at the Launceston airport and people can have the choice to walk through to the terminal, as we waited a while for the shuttle and actually walked around the construction and to the terminal quicker than waiting for the shuttle to take us around...

Can't fault the service and the price was great. But I feel harassed into making a rewiew the constant emails/txt almost daily until you review them is honestly ridiculous. Lost a star for that.

Car Rental
They were going to give me a smaller car than what I had booked until I said no the car was going to be bigger than that, so they gave me a bigger car, the guy that served me was helpful in setting up my phone to the car so I could use the maps but was rushing and didn’t show me how any thing else worked on the car, I had to figure out how to adjust seat and how the car operated by myself (a quick run down would have been helpful) then I went to use the front window washers and it was totally empty of water, so obviously the fluids in the car had not been checked since it was last hired.

While we do book categories of vehicle and do not guarantee specific models within those categories I am glad to hear our staff could get you into a vehicle that suited your needs.
Depending on how busy our locations are heading out with each customer to run through the dash operation of each vehicle would not be viable as it would result in much longer wait times for our customers at the desk.
Feedback around our vehicles is always passed along to our internal team for follow up.
