Absolutely no communication when my order went missing. It has subsequently turned up and I need to return it due to it being delivered too late. I do not feel I should have to cover the cost of the return (as per their returns policy), but I can't get hold of anybody.
Really disappointed, I would not recommend buying from this company, despite the impeccable quality of the product they sell, it is not worth the risk.
Over a week and still not shipped, was told 3 days ago that store manager had the flu and couldn’t send it until the day after. 4 days later still not sent, pathetic really when you think of the type of shoes produced. Feedback email sent out before shoe arrived, mind boggling.

Horrific customer service. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and ended up getting the wrong size on 1 pair . It’s been a nightmare to get their customer service to fix the issue . I ended up couriering them back the wrong size and they’ve just stopped responding since. Now I’m chasing them everyday for 5 weeks. Still no response

I ordered a pair of shoes in the sale. After a week, I received a message saying my order had been cancelled at my request. As I had not requested a cancellation, I got in touch only to be told my order had been cancelled due to the item being incorrectly listed.

I understand that my responsibility if I return my shoes, but shipping from England to the US was $40, so I thought it would be the same or a little more. I would even pay $80 for shipping. Shipping to the England was $320 with DHl. I asked for assistance/tickets and didn’t get a response. Barker needs to tell Customers to how much for shipping. My shoes are in the box - never worn, but you have told me two or three times that the shoes in perfect condition…. Your my condition is perfect, but you might think they are not; so I won’t get my money back. Bad business, poor customer assistance.….. I will never recommend this company - never.

I accidentally ordered 2 pairs of shoes instead of 1, my error and I immediately emailed Barker Shoes and asked them to amend the order, they didn’t, no response to my request!
I was charged for 2 pairs on my credit card and 2 pairs were delivered.
Trying to send 1 pair back had been made very difficult. No replies to emails, no phone calls to their customers service desk answered and the online chat is useless! I have now returned 1 pair (at my cost, no return label offered) I sent these back by Post Office Track and Signed service and I can see they have been accepted back by Barkers but I have not received any refund or communication!
I will now have to contact my credit card company to arrange a refund. VERY POOR!
So, since my Trustpilot review I was contacted by thier customer services / marketing dept. within 6 hours, apologising. They found my return in the thier warhouse (despite me misplacing the tracking details) and confirmed a refund is on its way. To sum up, poor service to start but they did act swiftly to resolve the issue so i am happy and just shows how Trustpilot works to maintain a companies reputaion and helps customers get the outcome they deserve.

Trainers I ordered recently I had a mark on them and the colour was very far from how they look on their online photo. I have also seen the shoes in store and the colour was like the online photo.
My husband has regularly bought Barkers shoes over the years as he loves the style and quality. However the customer service is absolutely appalling. I have tried emailing and used the 'chatbot' and got zero response. I get an email with zero content in it. I got two follow up codes from the chatbot but no reply to them also.
I am now going to do the return myself as I need the refund to be done. However Barkers website clearly says they will arrange collection if the customer is not happy with the standard of the shoes. I sent photos in my ignored email of the mark and the colour.
Please sort our you customer service as you have a great product overall.
First off, lovely shoes.
I bought a second pair, following the fit and last advice from their texting service. Shoe is massively too big, and their customer service person said it was my fault. Emails asking for a return exchange have gone unanswered for over a month, and their policy says I now can’t return them. I wish I could recommend but now I’m stuck with shoes that are too big and an unresponsive, indifferent team.

Reasonably happy with the shoes , nice fit but the colouring is a little pale compared to the website , my main concern is that they smell similar to the smell when you bought a item of clothing from the corner shop in the 70s , none of my previous Barkers had this smell

I wanted to exercise my right of return. The note enclosed with the parcel stated that I should contact customer support by email. I tried this several times. I have not received a response to date.
Excellent service from a renowned 1st class company. The shoe quality is superb and the fit is excellent. Very pleased with the product and service

The de delivery and the shoes is no complaints but the greediness regarding shoes bags to protect shoes the orders I receive shoes with just one shoes bags I complain an ask them to add on my next order the remaining bags but they didn’t. What happened the next order I received two bags for two shoes what is normal but they ignored the remaining one bags the complete my first order I’m still waiting for it because it was one bag for one pairs of shoes.
