Barnyarns failed to deliver a £4 item and set me the task of finding out why they failed and declined to replace the item they did not send to me.
I assume their customer service was so poor was becasue it would cost them more than £4 to find why the delivery failed or they just couldn't be bothered.
I wouldn't trust them with a larger order or any other order.
Classic old school customer service.

I have been a customer of Barnyarns for years and have always received the very best service. Online and in the warehouse shop. King Tut is my favourite thread and I only purchase it from Barnyarns. Apart from the great service when purchasing items there is Jon's newsletter. Full of information about needles, threads etc, and not forgetting the joke of the day, which always makes me smile.
i recommend Barnyarns to all quilters and sewer.

Bought a Pfaff ambition 1 on special offer. first ever Pfaff machine. I read up on Pfaff macines and it sounded really reliable . Result... BEST MACHINE i ever had, and i have had a few. Most last only a few years at most though 1 failed after 2 years of very light use... I particulalry wanted one to do quilting on so needed extra space on the floor of it. I now havea machine that I can quilt on with ease and it's so much faster to make a block with the feet i have. Quilting itself is so easy, stitches are so easy to adjust. Wonderful number of differnt stitches AND they all listed in the type of sewing you want to do. Excellent and easy to use when quilting itself. BEST of all is that this is the only machine i have ever had where the stitch treader actually works. So perfect for those with not so good eyesight. The contact and sales team was fabulous and kept me updated with delivery etc. Machine arrived in good time and was well packed with none of that horrible foam to get rid of. I can forsee having many many years of happy sewing with this machine God and health willing. Barnyarns is going to be my go to place for my needs now. highly impressed with the whole range of goods and help available. Reccommendation. more than 100%.

Purchased a Pfaff 1.5 embroidery machine with advertised extras, through Callum, for my wife's 80th birthday. It was touch and go for delivery because of Barnyarns receipt of machines but Callum kept me updated and when the due date was near he went the extra 100 miles and produced a cracking birthday card itemising my present which arrived on the birthday date with the machine arriving shortly afterwards. I’ve been a customer of Barnyarns for some time and have always had really good customer service from them. When they began stocking Pfaff machines I decided to take the plunge and upgrade my machine. I exchanged several emails with Callum and decided on the Expression 710 before ordering on line.

The machine was expected in stock a few days after ordering but there were delays due to Brexit and COVID. Callum kept me fully informed and made sure my machine was sent to me as soon as they received it. I couldn’t have asked for better service and the offer that came with the machine was great, allowing me to buy additional accessories for no extra cost.

l have now bought two Pfaff machines from Barnyarns and would not hesitate to recommend them. At all times they are patient, helpful and knowledgeable about their products. All round a most excellent company to do business with. Thank you Callum and all the team.

Great black Friday price and very fast delivery awesome machine and learning. Only bad thing was the voucher did not receive and had to call a few times, eventually got the voucher. Used the voucher and got reply e-mail. Nothing about a delivery nearly a month called up and some how got lost in transition. Happy today got e-mail it will be coming on Monday. Now I am happy customer.

Bought the Pfaff 720 for an excellent price on Black Friday weekend which included Barnyarns vouchers. Went to Barnyarns to try first and Callum went through all aspects of the machine (very knowledgeable about the different Pfaffs etc).

Been wanting a Pfaff sewing machine forever, however, due to the price I have usually gone for singer and brother machines but now I've reached the fine old age of 60 I decided to treat myself. This was the best price and included the extension table for free, could not be beaten Easy to order and very fast delivery.

I’ve been thinking about getting a Pfaff Expression 710 for a while and they had a Black Friday offer that I couldn’t resist. Machine delivered quickly and in perfect condition. It also came with a £100 voucher offer too. I can’t think of any negatives about Barnyarns at all!

They have a comprehensive supply of sewing related products and I have purchased large items, Pfaff machines, down to single reels of thread. As usual, the service from Barnyarns was excellent. Their Rewards system make it worthwhile even though some of their prices on the haberdashery tend to be slightly higher than other places. Overall, I feel I come out on top!
The machine I ordered wasn't in stock (I knew that before I ordered) and the price changed for Black Friday before I received it but Barnyarns were more than fair about this by refunding the difference in vouchers even though it was still cheaper than
elsewhere. As a Bonus, the machine turned up faster than the original delivery date.
I am a happy customer!
