You horrible bunch of people

You horrible bunch of people, impossible to contract and you send me a bill for a gym that is not open!!. You even had the cheek to add on a drinks bill and solarium. I truly hope you shut down you are the worst company I have ever dealt with and I will be telling everyone I know to never ever use basefit.
I wish you all the worst

A terrible customer service experience, won't recommend this club at all

As others said terrible and not responsive customer service and scaming way of businsess.
I shift one year ago from active fitness to basefit because of their opening hours. They told me that they have a promotion of 6 month free extension of my membership if I shift from activefitness (I am not even sure if they are alowed to do it based on competition law). Afterwards non of their personel knew how to activate this promossion , they always refered me to the mybasefit web which does not explain it anywhere. I wrote their customer service a message and they never responded instead just got a message of "your ticket is closed" after some weeks. At that time I gave it up. Some months later finally by asking from another studio, I restart my effort to get this promotion, and finally after 10 months they confirmed it but for 1.5 half year later!!
Besdies, two months later they sent me the invoice by email only once and when I did not pay it, as I wanted to clarify this extension period first, they send me a second invoice with already a 100 chf extra as delaying penalty.Though normally one more reminder should come without penalty.
Since then I am in discussion with them, their way of response is terrible and unprofessional. Instead of answering my questions they only repeat one thing that my extension is given at the end of current period and no more explanation. I am going to escalate my case to my lawyer, It feels like a fraud, I am very disappointed and try to get rid of them asap. If you can go to other clubs please do that.

Basefit, scam, resiliation, customer service from the 70's

If you are looking for a gym that spent time thinking how to make it difficult for you to resign instead of enhancing the customer experience you are at the right place.

In case you want to resign, you have to send post mail along a post on the website interface exactly 3 month in advance in order to cancel your abo. Basefit spams you with SMS offers and emails all the time, but of course nothing is done to let you know that the date for resiliation is approaching. In case you are 1 day late on it, you still have 3 month of training paid for but you will HAVE to pay for next year.

The customer service is not willing to do anything "we stick to the contract". Well. First time ever I write a negative review for anything.

was good for the first year...

I enjoyed the gym for a year. But when I tried to cancel my membership they were very unhelpful and I often only got AI-generated responses, usually days later.
Now I am getting kind of rude spam messages to "stop being lazy" and re-join the gym... don't think I'll ever join them again

Worst McDonalds joke of a gym in …

Worst McDonalds joke of a gym in Switzerland!
Infantile and incompetent management that takes months to repair equipment and throw you out when you question them without a refund on your membership and will even try to charge you the next year on automatic renewal after you've been banned illegally from their premises.
Do not waste your time or money on this totally dodgy company...Basefit Lockergut is the worst of the worst!
