Placed an order on 25/8/2019 for 3 sets of 15 NiMH cells for my cordless tools totalling £131.35. Unlike others here I received confirmation of the order by email almost immediately. I received a despatch email on 4/9/19 and delivery was attempted on 5/9/19. I collected it from the local sorting office on 6/9/19. All great so far...

On checking the order 2 cells were missing - they were packed in boxes of 3 but one box had only a single cell and two pieces of packing foam. No mention of shortfall or back order on the delivery note.

I’ve tried calling 7 times over the past week - always engaged as noted by others. 2 emails have gone unanswered and webpage contact us form doesn’t work.

Next step is to contact PayPal and my credit card company....

Be careful - wish I’d checked these reviews sooner too....

Since posting this review and raising the issue with PayPal, the missing two cells arrived. It may be that these were dispatched before I wrote the review above or contacted PayPal, but no despatch email was sent beforehand. I’ve raised the rating to average as the order has now been fulfilled to my satisfaction.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Order never arrived. Telephone is always engaged. No reply to numerous emails. Only after threatening legal action did l receive a refund via paypal. This company is either at best abjectly useless or at worse is a scam. You have been warned, do not use.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!Sadly didn't see the very poor experience of others with this BatteriesPlus and received no battery over two weeks later and no response to email and telephone permanently engaged! Would give negative stars!!

DO NOT use this company. Fraud. Take your money and o not deliver goods. They don’t answer the phone and the online contact system does not work. No confirmation email sent either. Please report if you’ve used and also had a negative experience.

The battery in my shaver was kaput after many years.

I placed an order on 14/8/19 for a replacement Nickel Cadmium 1.2v 1100mAh tagged AA battery.

It arrived on the morning of 16/8/19.

I soldered the replacement into my old shaver. It fired right away. I ran the battery flat which took around 2 hours. I am now charging to full with the old charger which will take approximately 13 and 3/4 hours according to calculations.

Happy to have completed the transaction. Item works as intended. Delivery was swift. I will use batteriesplus.co.uk again.

I´m trying to reach them out to return the item I purchased. They don´t answer the email, don´t pick the phone up, and there is not way to send them a message through their website. I wish I would check reviews before placing my order there.

this is my first & last order with Battriesplus. I ordered 3 days ago and have not received any conformation what so ever, only a receipt from Worldpay which does not mean my order as been accepted, have made numerous attempts to contact them via their contact us page to no avail just keep going round in circles

I ordered a Tom Tom replacement battery from this company five days ago but it has yet to arrive and they are not answering my calls or messages. The phone is constantly engaged and the capcha is not working so the message does not get sent. So, last evening I contacted my credit card company, John Lewis. Yes, the money had been taken and JL have kindly refunded it to my account. However, this company have already got the money and I see this is happening to lot's of other people!

Terrible company. Placed an order 10 days ago but nothing has arrived. Tried calling and emailing but line busy and no response to emails. Sounds like a scam. Luckily only a small cheap order but still it's the principle.

Extremely disappointed in the product despatched: very obviously not the genuine Samsung product!
I frequently buy generic products from ebay suppliers and have even been known to buy an obvious fake product.
This time however I decided to avoid ebay and purchase what I expected to be the genuine product from a reputable UK supplier.
Lesson learnt: look at the reviews before buying but don't buy from this company.

Placed my order 10 days ago and nothing has yet arrived. I have tried phoning but the line reports as busy, I assume they are inundated with phone orders (probably not), more likely the phone has been left off the hook? I have sent the them an email and still no reply. I can only assume from the reviews I have niw read that this company really isn't worth dealing with!

Today I thought I would have a look at Google maps to see where the business is, and to my dismay, it is a residential address, which, under the circumstances, is probably not surprising; although, genuinely good business can thrive in such circumstances. However, it seems likely this business is simply a scam company. I shall now discuss with PayPal on how to reclaim my money.

Ordered some batteries on 18th June and paid with PayPal. Got an order acknowledgement but no shipping info. Waited for what I thought was a reasonable time then tried to ring them several times. Always engaged. Sent an email. No response. Looked online at reviews of this company and found trustpilot. Wish I'd found it sooner and not ordered from these people. They seem to be just taking peoples money with no intention of supplying. In my books thats fraud and theft. I did eventually get an email saying the batteries hd been despatched but that was a week ago and they haven't arrived. Opened up a PayPal complaint and got a PayPal response after a few days saying that Batteriesplus have said they would refund me, so PayPal closed my case! However there is still no sign of my refund or the batteries. Do NOT on any account order anything from these people. I intend to follow up some of the suggestions made by others for this matter to be investigated by those with the power to do so.

Do not use this company ordered batteries total £11.15 on 18-06-19 batteries plus took money from my bank account on 19-06-19 and I still have not received batteries. Emailed several times phoned several times also but rings engaged 4 times then line goes dead. I wish I had checked reviews before ordering will be contacting google regarding this website to tell them it is fraudulent and to stop promoting it on their search engine.

The battery came but was incorrect one tryrd to contact them but they never answer the phone and dont respond to emails,so my advice to anyone thinking of using this cowboy outfit not too.

Ordered a battery on 8th May, still haven't received it (1st June). Phone is always engaged and they do not respond to emails. Unfortunately I did't check reviews before I ordered. If you do check these reviews, take heed and do not order from them.

I'm extremely disappointed with the service provided by this company. Placed an order for a pack of batteries on the 1st May. A few weeks later no parcel arrived, so emailed them on the 14th May - no reply.

I've tired several times trying to call them (line engaged) and when i tried to email them through their contact form - the website is broken.

Avoid at all costs.

Placed an order, received the usual order confirmation but that is it, no further delivery confirmation, the telephone line always busy, not replying to any email, have asked for a refund via PayPal.

I ordered 10 X 1.2v ni-cad batteries to replace a 12v hedge cutter battery pack. Items arrived as stated well packed and reasonably priced. I was pleased with the service and highly recommend this company.

Like many other customers I also ordered and paid for two batteries.
After 15 minutes I was sent an invoice confirming my order, but no details of when or how my order would be sent! I waited till nearly the end of the day and emailed Batteries Plus just to ask if they could tell me when it was due!
To date they never answered that question and the 4 other requests sent as well as the numerous phone calls to their listed number. But as it is permanently engaged alarm bells started ringing.
Even tried calling @ 3AM with the same result.
As I paid by Pay Pal I got my money back, even though they claimed my package was sent they would allow me to keep it and refund me as a goodwill gesture!
Really what a load of bull.
So to all you reviewers who still have not been paid back maybe because you used your credit card, try phone Action Fraud (03001232040) the more people who call in will make them take notice and possible action?
If that fails call your local Trading Standards, or for just over £11.00 take out a county court summons against them, think about it if you live in Scotland that's the court they would have to travel to !

But the biggest thing you should do is use Pay Pal.
Also if you ordered through E Bay call them and give them a hard time; and if you found Batteries Plus with a browser search like I did using Google.co.uk. call Google and complain?
Do not sit on your hands and do nothing , make them pay I am.
Next thing for me is to contact BBC Watchdog and see if they will investigate them.

Had my first order after chasing it up and getting a reply saying I should have received an email saying they were delaid. They arrive about a week later. So I ordered a second pair and a charger. Arrived really quickly no problem. But I the realised I had ordered the wrong batteries I has 2500 but needed 3400 so emailed 4 times to ask for an exchange but had no response.!!!
