Terrible

Terrible. I had to wait 6 weeks until the product was delivered and when it arrived it was damaged. I’ve received no apology having raised it with them.

Cautionary tale

Cautionary tale: Having seen a lamp online and, crucially, noting the "no quibble returns" claim, I visited the Harrogate store to see it. I was slightly concerned about the colour of the shade but bought it to try. The warm grey colour in the store turned out to be taupe in daylight and did not match my colour scheme. I tried to return it but was informed that only items bought online were eligible for a refund - credit note/exchange only. This was an expensive, large lamp - a more appropriate shade will not be cheap! Very disappointed. Only use this store as a showroom and purchase online to enable returns!

I was shopping for a stove companion…

I was shopping for a stove companion set and came across one at Baytree Interiors (online) and the colour I wanted for a good price. Unfortunately they didn't have the item in stock online but I could go to a store if in stock- which I was happy with. I ventured out to the Ilkley store (which is 50mins drive). We found the store and the item. However, I found the 2 women working were extremely rude and unhelpful which made my experience of this store really poor. It felt very chaotic for a Sunday. I also had a voucher for £10 off in store (including sale items) and the women was pointing at me telling me not to use it as there was 10% off and it was not on sale items. I felt that frustrated and fed up with the women I just paid for the item and left. Both me and my partner couldn't wait to leave.

Loved the store in Scarborough.

Purchased from Baytree interiors on more than one occasion and everything has been absolutely lovely. We always have a look online and have been in the Scarborough store which looked fabulous.

Happy Customer

My order was delivered very promptly and I was kept updated by customer service of the order progress. I was very pleased that it looks far more exceptional than the picture of it and it was in the sale! So for me I am a very happy customer

Never again !

I would have left no stars but am unable . The worst customer experience ever. Three months ago I ordered a mirror for £128 and it arrived broken . The quality wasn’t great for the price but I liked the design and so ordered a replacement- which arrived broken . All in all - it’s took 3 months and countless emails to try and get this sorted and after 3 months they now cannot supply . slow email responses and very unhelpful added to poor quality item . Go elsewhere !

I visited recently for a look around…

I visited recently for a look around and have been there several times in the past.
Lots of choice and high quality items.
A couple of items caught my eye but I was concerned about whether or not they would fit into my scheme, as they were rather pricey.
I looked for a returns policy which is usually clearly displayed in other shops.
However there was a strange sign saying to ask staff about returns.
I did this only to be told rather curtly that they would not give cash refunds only a credit note.
I avoid places like this like the plague as I have been stung before.
I found the member of staff to be rather unfriendly in her interaction with me.
I decided to look at Baytree online and found that I could return the item in store for a full refund within 14 days however I would have to pay £5.95 to have it delivered.
I was almost at the point of paying when I decided to shop around online. To my amazement I found exactly the same items far cheaper elsewhere.
For example an expensive vase which was in the "sale" in Baytree, was around £35 cheaper standard price at several other outlets.
Moral of the story is to shop around before you part with your hard earned cash and make sure you are happy with the returns policy.
