Not trust worthy

Supposedly they had a sensor that I needed it really bad for my car so I went ahead and order it then I got a email 4 days after I placed the order telling me that he didn’t have it in stock how unprofessional didn’t even had the decency to call when I put in all my information when I placed the order i should have read their reviews before I placed the order
Stay clear from this people unless you want to be disappointed trust me

Blew my engine.

Blew my engine.

My mx5 went in for a stage 1 turbo.

The setup and product on offer is fantastic, the guys are brilliant however, once you have an issue you are greeted by Neil (the owner) who is somewhat, just outright defensive - as per many google reviews.

Neil is very knowledgeable and clearly comes from an engineering background however, communicating with this man when there is an issue is just horrific. He avoids emails and insists on aggressive calls, even when you request that all comms are in writing.

Neil has refused to offer any solution - he has been obstructive throughout the entire process.

Looks like it is off to seek legal action and see who runs out of money first!

BBR GTI blew my engine up twice.

BBR GTI blew my engine up twice.

i am a mechanic and After just 12 minutes of data logging (AS PER BBR INSTRUCTION).
Supercharger 300hp kit has BLOWN UP a second engine so far due to 2 second misfire at 4700 rpm with no sign of misfire as previously shown in data log i did a couple of days before and sent to bbr but they said they were of no use as i hadn’t revved above 3000 rpm and told me i’d need to rev the engine higher (bang at 4700rpm)there is no way anybody is gonna lift off in time to prevent a 2 second misfire blowing the engine up. According to Neil (bbr boss) at bbr a common fault with mx5’s, although this car was running perfectly before kit was fitted and had only done 30,000 miles. I am selling this kit due to it being highly risky and likely to blow up another engine. There was a fire in engine bay and the car was nearly burnt out data proof and Pics of holes in engine casing below! I offered bbr the kit back for half price but they didn’t want the kit back. If you have a two second misfire or your plug gaps are to big your engine will blow up, Youtube video coming soon!
NOTE THE OTHER REVIEWS ON HERE ARE NOT VERIFIED BEWARE!
They didn’t believe the engine had blown up so i offered to do video chat via whatsapp they said they wouldn’t do the video chat for obvious reasons 🤷‍♂️ i assume they get a lot of complaints!
this is a small business and the communication and support is really bad
they don’t want to talk to you and some of them really don’t know what they are talking about. The instruction's are deliberately written in a contradictory way to protect this business from liable action and they will take no responsibility if there kit blows your engine. There is no protection in the software to stop a two second misfire from blowing your engine up. THIS KIT IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE there is a reason this company doesn’t do youtube .
