Absolutely horrible experience... DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM!

Absolutely horrible experience.... I usually never leave a negative review on a company even if my experience is bad but I felt the need to do so here.... Today is June 07, 2023... I ordered a few items from their website on May 03, 2023 because they have decent products. It was shipped in 2 packages but only one arrived. I did not like the first item when it arrived so requested a return. They told me I have to go create my own shipping label to return the item. Most companies will create a label for free or bill you for one. They did not offer this. No big deal tho. As I am waiting for the second package to arrive, I receive an email saying it has been delivered. When I got home there was no package there. I contacted them immediately via email since there is no phone number to call. They directed me to UPS to open my own dispute on this package. Another thing most companies would handle on their end and not put on the customer to do so. UPS supposedly did their own investigation and initially said it was closed with proof of delivery. When I called UPS they reopened the case and told me the case should be completed in coming days and the shipper will receive a refund then refund me. I waited a week and still nothing happened. I emailed them back again asking whats going on and they replied that UPS closed the case with proof of delivery. They basically opened up the tracking number online and read to me what the tracking says. I told them this item was ordered over a month ago and they need to call UPS themselves and figure this out. Their answer was they will keep an eye out to see what UPS says. Any reputable company would handle this entire situation differently. Right now it is over a month and I do not have the items I purchased nor do I have my money back. And this garbage company has not lifted a finger aside from writing emails back and forth to me upto this point. It makes perfect sense reading the reviews already on this website. 84% of the reviews are 1 star. If I had read them before ordering I would probably never place the order to begin with. Companies that do not lift a finger in situations like this should not be able to exist. My next review will be with the better business bureau. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

I ordered 3 pairs of dunks and they shipped one pair a month after then they told me the other two would ship from a different location 3 weeks later they shipped another pair then they told me the last pair will ship soon I waited 3 more weeks then they told me the pair was sold out that they where going to refund in 3 days then I waited still no refund so I did a chargeback somehow they won the dispute and they kept all the money I keep asking them if they can refund me but they told me they can’t since I did a chargeback but the dispute is over I don’t understand why they can’t refund the money they made me wait over 2 months for the shoes and I’m still waiting on my refund and my two other orders one was missing crocs and another they send me the wrong items this place is a scam

People have let Amazon spoil them…

I had read so many bad reviews about Bodega that honestly I had anxiety throughout the entire purchase process, form ordering until I received the shoes I felt this dread that something was going to go wrong. But here’s the deal, it didn’t. They delivered as promised. I ordered shoes on May 11th, 2023 and I desperately needed them for a wedding on June 3rd. After I placed my order I shot them an email explaining the slight rush and they immediately responded stating that my order was in the fulfillment stage but that I should have them in time. I received them on May 31st with zero issue. If you are expecting Amazon same day delivery this isn’t the company for you, it’s going to take three weeks to get your order. If that’s a problem, shop elsewhere. Otherwise, I had zero issues with my order and I got a pair of shoes that you literally can’t find anywhere else. 5 stars all the way around.

I will never order from them again.I placed in order on Friday and they hurried up and took my money. The orders are now so called backed up for 30 days. This company is trash and if I known I wouldn’t have ordered a my toddler’s Nikes from this company

Should have checked here first…

So I’ve learned my lesson about ordering from websites I don’t normally deal with. Bodega has taken my money and failed to process my order, now the item i ordered is labeled as sold out and i have a sneaking suspicion that i am now not receiving what i ordered.

Beware processing and shipping can take longer than pony express

Informs you that processing can take up to 30 days after you make your purchase. I’ve been a long time customer and must say in the past two year there customer service and shipping times is on ASSC level . I would have never placed my order if I knew it was gonna take a month to process. Nothing takes a month if I did my job as bad as they do there’s I’d be unemployed

Hidden Policies

Bodega apparently has a policy only noted in their FAQ that certain items are not returnable. Nowhere in the product description nor anywhere in the checkout process was this noted for this particular item. I don't generally read a website's FAQ when I'm ordering- a basic sales transaction should not require this. False advertising.

The sneakers run extremely narrow, a fact I could not have known prior, and would not have ordered them if I was in any way made aware that refunds aren't available.

Edit based on response- To be clear, all Bodega's response says is that they informed me of the policy when I attempted to return. At no point was this made clear prior to purchase.

Ordered 4 items. Waited a month to be notified 2 of my items were out of stock and will be refunded. Waited another 15 days for only 1 of my items and now struggling to get reimbursed for the other item that didn’t get delivered. Terrible company and no phone line to speak to costumer service.

I really hate to give a 1 star...

I really hate to give a 1 star to this company. I should have read the reviews before making my purchase... Their customer support is INCREDIBLY incompetent.

To give them the benefit of the doubt, I will admit that they at least respond in a timely manner. But I question whether or not they actually take the time to read the email inquiries they receive? They tell me one thing, and then literally DO ANOTHER thing the next day.

I was confused why my order randomly didn't come with everything I purchased. Two items were missing. I asked why I did not receive my full order and their claim was that the items would still be arriving (no ETA or tracking information) because they are coming from a different facility. Fine. I wasn't too content but at least I felt somewhat reassured. The next day I get another email from them saying I'VE BEEN REFUNDED THOSE ITEMS WITH ZERO EXPLANATION. Thank god I at least got my money back, but the lack of communication and poor communication that I do receive from them is truly phenomenal. I'm annoyed that not only was I literally lied to by their own support, but the lack of useful communication by this support team is absurd. And the saddest part of all of this is that I won't actually be receiving the clothes that I purchased initially. Most people on this site are complaining about the long shipping time, but that didn't bother me much. Hilarious that they can't ship an entire order together and also hilarious that they cannot give me the tracking information for the items that didn't arrive in the original order.

Do little kids work at their company? They speak professionally but do not act professionally at all. Do not waste your time with these five year olds.

An obscene fulfillment time of 21 days was mentioned only AFTER I payed. 23 days later the sneakers still aren't shipped and they are now saying 21 days or more!

Completely unacceptable and borderline scammy.

EDIT: shipped after 24-25 days and numerous emails. Will never order from them.
