Love this place
Love this place. Got a massage and relaxed in the baths.
As soon as you walk in, a lady in the dressing room explains everything, even shows you how to work the lockers and gives you everything you need.
When you're done, they dry your bathing suit
This was one of the best massages I ever got.
The whole day cost $900 but worth it.
Beautiful baths but very bad massage
Aire Copenhagen. Beautiful baths in a magnificent decor.Very relaxing and welcoming. However, it was the worst massage that I have ever had in my entire life. The massage table was uncomfortable and the masseuses was annoyed at me being not relaxed. Isnt the whole point of a massage is to relax the person being massaged? She kept on asking me to relax which made the entire experience extremely stressful and in the end she seemed really crossed with me for not being relaxed. My husband on the other hand who had another masseuse had a very good experience. Aire please hire your masseuse adequately. They represent your brand and your image. Don't let them ruin your amazing experience.
Copenhagen relaxing baths, mediocre massage experience
We went to the Copenhagen location on a Sunday. The facilities were clean and not very crowded. We got massages and also spent about 2-hours in the baths themselves. The massages were good however the massage rooms and tables left a lot to be desired. The tables were foldable / portable tables with not a ton of padding (and I could feel the partitions of the table under me) with only a thin sheet on it. They were also cold, as was the room. I found myself distracted by the discomfort of the table and the fact that I was slightly cold and unable to fully enjoy the massage itself. The massage therapist was great and worked some spots that had been bothering me well - wish they had better rooms! Also, the bath / spa experience and the facilities were lovely as was the service. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Best Spa in town
I finally got around to visiting Aire after getting it recommended by many of my friends and I most say, it did not disappoint! It's by far the best spa experience I've had in DK and I've visited a few. The concept is amazing and perfect for the old Carlsberg buildings.
The whole place is magical and the atmosphere exceptional. The service is SO good and professional. There is always someone around to service you, but you never notice them until you need them. A special shout out to Burhan, for being very tentative to our experience and genuinely caring.
The massage experience was also super nice. They do write "relaxing" massage, but I asked the masseuse to not hold back and she did just that. A true professional.
Finally, the place never felt crowded and we felt very at ease at all times.
I can genuinely recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional spa experience
Most relaxing spa I have been to - great experience
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our first “day off” since our son was born, and wanted to treat ourselves to a spa day. Luckily the other places we wanted to go were fully booked, so we ended up at Aires. It was worth every penny, great and welcoming service for the most part - my only constructive criticism here is that some of the staff seemed a little distant and appeared to be looking for guests whose time had expired instead of offering people drinks or what not. But it wasn’t and issue, the overall experience was sublime - top notch service, facilities and atmosphere - really lives up to the name! Burhan whom I believe was the manager was great, really friendly, professional and welcoming, it felt very sincere. Definitely coming back. A little side note is that It would be great if you did memberships, at different price ranges depending on how often you plan on visiting. Thanks for the unique experience.
Massage was not good-copenhagen…
Massage was not good-copenhagen location , I told her few times to use more pressure, nothing changes, it feels someone was only touching my skin, and she had some nail it's hurting me, I told her be careful, she said he nails are not long. ... Disappointed massage
Super atmosphere
Super atmosphere, surroundings are are exceptionel in old Carlsberg brewery buildings. Burhan welcomed us and made a very pleasant start of this experience.
Personally I appreciated the salt baths and steam bath. If you appreciate spa experiences, this is a place to go
Fantastic place
Is very beatiful. I like the nice and calm atmosphere.
The employees are fantastic and very good masseurs
Worst customer service at Copenhagen branch
I have been in AIRE in Spain and had a great experience there, and once in Copenhagen. 24/11 was my second time in Copenhagen, first time with my husband.
We booked couple spa + massage at 12, but ended up coming later at 12:05 due to road constructions around the area and it was impossible to park. I called at 12:02 saying we are coming a bit late, the phone lady coldly answered: then we will have to cut short your experience. I said you should have written in your website or informed us about these road blocks, to which she answered in very rude, not customer friendly manner - “it’s not our problem”. That already put me in a bad mood to start with, and just the bad experience.
We came there and although we were late, the lady at reception was kind enough to allow us for massage and gave us the wrist bands. However turns out we forgot our bags in the car while rushing and had to go to the parking (which was far) to get it. The lady at reception said it was fine, and we can still come back for massage.
When we came back, there was another lady, seemingly the manager (who I spoke on phone with - I recognized through distinct voice) who told us we lost the massage because we are late, despite the other lady told us otherwise. The manager also said we should have been here 15 mins before (11:45) and counted that time for lateness. Although in the email it was only RECOMMENDED to come early, not a must, especially since we had already checked in online.
Overall just bad experience which we carried that mood to the bath without massage. I know we were at fault for coming late, but for an international renowned and expensive facility like AIRE, having such straight forward attitude is not acceptable. Especially when we were in AIRE in Spain and had a great experience despite being few mins late.
She could have saved me some nerves at the beginning by saying the same thing in a more customer friendly way, but no, turned on the strict manner for a luxurious international experience! And by the way, later, my husband told me when he called, at the same time as me (he was parking so we were not together), one lady picked up and said it was fine we were a bit late. Why did the danish manager need to ruin the experience for me from the get go?
The point is the whole experience is for 2hrs, why couldnt they be more flexible with the start time of 45 min massage? Everyone coming here for relaxation, but this in turn brought only stress. Even if it’s a 15-20 mins massage, I think we should still be entitled to that, not the whole cancellation.
Not coming back here ever again and regret for recommending friends to come! The staff should go back and think again on the vision and purpose of AIRE, rather than pulling the cards of being super strict and unflexible, which brings only stress to clients.
PS: after sending them a complain on website, they only came back 10 days later. they “offered” me a free spa session which I did not take, as they accused me repeatedly for coming 1 hour late, hence I lost my massage. When in fact the first time I was 5 mins late, and when we left to grab our bag, the first reception lady told me I could still come in for massage.
Staff in copenhagen clearly lack customer service for such a place, and accused me for being rude, while they kept shoving to me that I was 1 hour late.
Dejlig oplevelse
Dejlig oplevelse. Lidt dyrt, men godt. Burhan in locker room when out of his way to give a good service.
The massage not so good
The massage not so good , I ask strong and was very soft .
you cannot take photos ,
I liked the pools, it's relaxing.
But I think is waste of money, paying a lot and you can't take a photo and the massage isn't that good.
The people are friendly
Unfortunately, NOT going back.
Unfortunately, the call I just had with reception to book was so strange and bizarre it put us off from booking again. Basically this conversation resulted in loss of 4 returning customers. First time was nice but they def do not limit people in bath area at one time as they said nor do they stop groups from being loud. My husband thinks we should spend our money elsewhere and I agree. If they take one thing away from this review it’s the customer is you most important asset.
Amazing- made the world slow down
Amazing. (I went to the NY Aire.) Made the world slow down. Totally restorative, with lovely staff and super clean and well stocked changing rooms and facilities
Amazing atmosphere
You don’t expect those amazing ancient baths to be in that building. Such a relaxing experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Qusten who took care of me and explained everything in detail and guided me from the beginning. To complete the experience, in the bathrooms you will find everything you can imagine from deodorant to micellar water.
Visited 28th Jan
Visited 28th Jan. Waited for half an hour to get in. Useless massage.
Very nice and relaxing evening
I have received the gift card for my birthday a while ago for Aire, but only now found the time to use it. It was a very nice and relaxing experience, super nice building with a variety of bahts. A lot of very helpfull employees that are guiding you well the whole evening. Not to many people at once, which is nice so you can really relax in silence. The massage was also very pleasant and relaxing, just what we needed. Thank you for the pleasant experience. :)

Angry
Experience is nice overall but not enough shower and the fact that you need to queue for shower and hair dryer is very disappointing. Had to cancel my dinner plans because of wet hair and smelling like salt. Turned my birthday into a disaster

Benefited from Thomases review
Thank goodness for a review by Thomas. We booked an experience, (whatever's the best way to describe a visit) with a better understanding thru his review than from the magniloquence of owner's.
I was hoping for an erotic theme, his review made me forget that. I took my boyfriend expecting a managed visit, I was not disappointed as I would have been had I not read that helpful review.
If you Expect a controlled visit, nothing special except the building, you'll be fine. My boyfriend enjoyed his massage by a female. I wanted a male got a female
massage.
Don't expect it to live up to the owners hype. The place is the star not the services
AIRE London - Not worth the hype
I was gifted a box for this place to help me relax after being in stressful situations one after the other, having a family member pass away and generally needed a place to zen out. So I booked a 60min massage and bath experience.
Cons:
- There was no mandatory requirement for people to shower before they went downstairs into the pools. This was already quite alarming for sanitary reasons.
- They have signs around for silence but don't actually enforce it. People loudly yapping away like a tourist not understanding other people are trying to relax. I brought it up with a staff member however the talking really just kept going. Ruined the complete experience. Further more as it's quite hollow under ground, the sound bounces and amplifies. If the sound is louder than the jets in the Jacuzzi, then clearly there's a problem!
- They didn't offer me a choice of masseur so I ended up with someone who had a light/medium touch and I need someone with strong hands! The pressure applied to my legs were okay but when she got up to my back, neck, arms... it was weak and not satisfying at all!
- Getting into the pool then going for a massage then having to put on your wet swimmers to go back into the pool is a weird feeling. But also, no washing the oils off either so the pools got everything! They did put your clothes/slippers on the heated towel rack but you're basically just putting on warm wet clothes instead of dry clothes. They should have let you get the massage before you enter the pools.
- The drinking water was just water. You'd think for the premium you pay, that they would infuse fruit or cucumber or mint or something into the water for a more relaxing experience.
Pros:
- There's a room for everyone and the water/ambiance (other than the talking) was nice
The floating pool was cool, but the amount of people talking by the salt scrub confused as what to do made it hard to relax. It would have been easier to just post a sign with instructions.
- The Jacuzzi room of a thousand bubbles was more massaging than the masseur!! Most of the individual bays had a decent platform to rest/sleep on
- The sauna was my favourite room... it had a 14 degree plunge pool inside so you can just dip into it when you heat up and then go back to a bench. This was the highlight pool for me and the room I spent the most time in.
- The hottest pool wasn't that hot but it was nice and a lot of people couldn't really handle it so I was in there myself without people talking. That was the upside.
Overall, I left there not feeling more relaxed than when I went in and for that, the rating is a 2 star. The general service was okay but I felt it was just overall lack luster. I did tell the lady at the front desk about my experience, she apologised but didn't really offer anything. It's like smoke and mirrors for luxury without actually being luxurious. Still quite concerned that people are not asked to shower before entering the pools. I really wanted to enjoy the place but it would have had to been strict with the silence policy and also needed the bells and whistles like infused water or simple things like face moisturiser as toiletries after you finish your experience. They had gel, wax, body lotion but nothing as simple as a face moisturiser. For the price... you're probably actually better off going to a Virgin Active gym instead and get a pamper treatment... and that's the sad truth.
