Really not impressed

Really not impressed. They experienced a delay of over a week, which I was only informed of after emailing when the delivery date came and went with no plants. They refunded my delivery fee and apologised, so I was willing to let that be it.
When the plants eventually arrived however, the nursery pot sizes were completely different to what was listed on the website, meaning they were too big to fit in the pots I had bought them specifically for.
I will not be purchasing from them again.

Fantastic Customer Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently ordered two olive trees and decorative pots from Beards & Daisies. Unfortunately, the pots supplied were slightly too small for the nursery pots the trees arrived in, which meant the trees didn’t sit correctly and were unstable in windy conditions.

After contacting customer services, Ash was incredibly helpful. The issue was acknowledged straight away, replacement pots were arranged promptly, and the entire process was handled professionally and efficiently from start to finish.

The replacement pots arrived quickly and are exactly the right size. The olive trees now look beautiful and I’m delighted with the final result.

While it was disappointing that the original pots weren’t quite right, the quality of the customer service more than made up for it. Ash kept me informed throughout and made the exchange process very straightforward.

Thank you to Ash and the Beards & Daisies team for resolving everything so quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again.

I recently ordered two plants from…

I recently ordered two plants from Beards & Daisies. I thought one of them was looking very sorry for itself so I took a photograph of it and emailed it to customer services asking if it should be as droopy as it was. I received a reply fairly quickly and they were very understanding about it and offered me a refund,no quibbles, which was returned to me in a couple of days. They also allowed me to keep the plant in the hope it might pick up and also gave me some tips to try and care for it.
Fab company, I would definitely buy from them again.

Really disappointed

Really disappointed with my order. I specifically chose this plant as a gift because it was advertised as 70–80cm including the pot, but the one received measured only 52-56cm.

I sent photos and measurements twice and kept the plant in the original brown wrapping in case I was asked to return it for a replacement. As the issue still wasn’t resolved, I eventually removed the wrapping and noticed that a lot of the leaves looked damaged and appeared as though they’d been eaten or marked.

Overall not what I expected for the price — I’ve genuinely seen plants in better condition in Lidl and B&M.
Customer service just send you filler emails instead of actually resolving the issue.

Pet Friendly Collection

The plants I ordered were part of a collection advertised as "pet friendly". I was very impressed with the condition and appearance of all of them when they arrived. They looked healthy and well cared for, and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

My first order with Beards & Daisies and everything arrived safely, with good customer service. Did find their prices top heavy for the plants but being disabled, I don't have a lot of choice other than to order online these days unless I can find someone free to take me out!

Unfortunately

Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t a positive one due to the delivery service that was used. The parcel was delivered to a completely different address, which caused a great deal of distress on what should have been a special occasion.

The recipient was my grandmother, whose birthday the gift was for. She is disabled, no longer drives, and rarely leaves the house - she lives the other side of the country to me. When the parcel was delivered to the wrong address, she became extremely upset and panicked because she had no way of retrieving it herself or knowing where it was.

Thankfully, a kind person who realised the parcel had been delivered incorrectly took the time to bring it to the correct address. Had they not done so, I’m not sure when or if the parcel would have reached my grandmother and DPD where frankly terrible to communicate with.

I was very disappointed by this experience, particularly as it ended up overshadowing and upsetting what should have been a happy birthday for her. While the plants themselves was appreciated once it arrived, the delivery issues significantly affected the overall experience.

Really poor customer service

I have no clue how companies can get it so wrong. I paid for a 2-5 day delivery and received no tracking nor any communication about any delays.

Eventually I received my plants 10 days after ordering, with a 'goodwill refund' of £4.95, which obviously still didn't get me the plants on time.

When they did turn up, two of the three were in very poor condition - lots of yellow and brown leaves. The third plant was in good condition, but was just about half the height of the other two, despite me ordering three plants at 120cm.

I immediately emailed and explained, requesting a return. The reply I received completely ignored the fact that two plants were in awful condition, and focused merely on the short plant.

They requested a photo, despite me stating clearly in my original email that file size made upload with email impossible. I'd already said that I'd happily provide photos if they could provide an upload facility, or a WhatsApp number. Again that was totally ignored.

At this point I'm preparing to submit a claim via my credit card provider. Not acceptable at all.

Easy website to navigate

Easy website to navigate - very prompt delivery (next day!) and delivered with care.
Good, clear care instructions for not such a green fingered person! I thought prices were reasonable.

Disappointing First Experience- June 2026

I placed an order for the very first time on their website and ordered 6 plants and a watering can. Also paid extra for quick delivery via DPD.
Upon arrival, first DPD left the parcels outside. And then I found they forgot to ship a plant. I called them but they don't work on weekends. So I had to email them.
Now, let's talk plants-
1) All the big plants were in good condition
2) Small plants not so much. Not dead but not in good condition
3) They did not label every plant. I don't understand why won't they print name, size and pot size on every plant.

About the missing plant, they responded to my email and shipped it. Now I wanted to do my plant setup in one sitting but because they forgot to ship one, it took me another day.

Their outer packaging was good but the main thing which is plant name, size, care instructions were missing.

They also send an email of dos and don'ts which also came in my inbox late and doesn't make sense to get it after a few days of delivery.

Initially when I ordered they have a 60mins window to change order or add more plants but I didn't see my email until later and when I clicked on the link nothing happened. It's a ridiculously short timeframe.
When I reached out to their support team they were not willing to offer the same discount again. Other brand would at least offer that for new customers.

Disappointing first impression and experience. Might not order again.

I ordered 2 large plants as a feature…

I ordered 2 large plants as a feature for my lounge. The 2nd plant arrived damaged and I thought give it a chance to recover, I gave it 2 months and the plant is clearly not good quality as next to the other plant it looks dreadful. Asked for a replacement and was refused as out of the 30 day period. They offered some advice as in cut off the damaged leaves, advised that the plant would look even worse as so many of the leaves were damaged, one for the bin and it was expensive. Such a shame as I have ordered lots of plants that have been lovely, appreciate that there will always be some poor plants but not to offer a replacement is not good customer service. Unfortunately I won’t be going back there again.
