The Bear Garden opened in 1992 in Guildford and is one of the UK's leading specialist teddy bear and soft toy shops. We are one of the UK’s top stockists for world famous German manufacturer, Steiff. We also stock creations from all the major manufacturers (for example: Jellycat, Charlie Bears, Merrythought, Teddy Hermann and Kosen), and beautiful work from leading teddy bear artists.

We are proud of, and have been recognized many times for, the quality of our service. We aim to make our customers as happy as possible!
Finally, we run our business in an ethical fashion. We use a green electricity supplier, are diligent recyclers and try to make decisions based on the impact on the world around us. Our chosen charity is War Child.

The Bear Garden Guarantee
We aim to send orders within 24 hours of receipt whenever possible. Items are sent securely packed and clearly labelled, so they arrive safely.
We like our customers to be happy!
So, if when you receive your parcel you are not happy with the contents, you will be refunded on return of the item(s). This does not affect your statutory rights. The Bear Garden guarantees that all items offered for sale are in perfect condition. We include boxes, bags and certificates where provided by the manufacturer.
Returns
If you are dissatisfied in any way with your purchase, then you can return it to us within 14 days of receipt for a refund. We do ask, however, that you contact us before returning any item. Returns must be sent back with any original boxes, packing and certificates.
Refunds are less any original postage costs incurred by The Bear Garden. We do reserve the right not to refund the full cost where items are returned damaged or missing.

Easy to order
Easy to order, regular updates on where the package was at, informed when it was delivered, I went to the mailbox and there it was! Quicker delivery from UK to Canada than ordering something locally!!

Great quality products and customer service
I have purchased a lot of bears from the Bear Garden for my own collection over the years but this one was a gift for my neighbour’s little girl.
The customer service is always brilliant and I love the personal touch like hand written notes.
The bears are gorgeous too of course!

What a wonderful company to order from ❤️ received a message after I placed my order to let me know we had missed that days post but that my bear would be posted the next day, which she was and she arrived today, packaged beautifully and with a lovely hand written note attached ❤️ so thoughtful and such a super thing to do ❤️ Rosa is even more beautiful and even more huggable than l imagined and will bring me so much joy as do all my other Charlie Bears 🐻 thank you so much 🥰
