Horrible company - avoid

I have placed an order for compost in April, paid £120, including fast delivery. The order was never fulfilled, the company saying some machinery broke in the yard and they can't load it and I have to wait. It's been already a month of waiting, so I cancelled the order and requested a refund. The refund never came. I have written to them, after 2 hours of waiting, even got on the phone with someone from the customer (don't) care. The stance was the same on the phone as in the e-mail: we made the refund, our accountant isn't in the office at the moment, we can't check any other details... It's August now and I still didn't receive the refund. Furthermore, the e-mail address I was using for correspondence isn't valid anymore, their website is down.
Can't see the end of it. Honestly, I feel I can say good bye to my money too.
In conclusion, I would say avoid them a mile!
I gave one star only because there isn't the option of giving zero stars.

In May I paid £90 for soil that was…

In May I paid £90 for soil that was never delivered. Attempts to contact by phone and email were unsuccessful. No refund. The reviews indicate that I am not alone in experiencing woeful service. That this company appears to be happy to take and keep people's money without any intention of supplying the goods purchased is dishonest and deserving of police enquiry.

Terrible

Terrible, awful, useless.
No compost, no refund, on hold forever with no answer, email gets auto response from German server saying reply within 2 days then no communication, now asking for reviews and the email address attached to the review request doesn't really exist so email bounces.
Do Not Touch this company with a barge pole.

AVOID ●●● paid £200 for compost that…

AVOID ●●● paid £200 for compost that was not delivered.. no response to e mails tex or phone calls .. claimed back through bank but they are disputing now saying it was delivered. I purchased from them the year b4 yes and it was delivered so yes they have my address ... NO ITS NOT BEEN DELIVERED THIS TIME ... worst company ever .. company Web page is down no response through anything ●●●●●

Avoid avoid avoid

I ordered before Easter weekend and they said it would be delayed because of backlog and the holiday, which was fine. They don’t answer the phone, so I emailed them the week after and asked where it was, they said it was delayed again so I cancelled the order. They didn’t refund the order, nor did they respond to my emails. I eventually got my credit card company to do a Chargeback, which Beaver are now contesting. Shocking.

Zero stars

Terrible company, definitely one to avoid. They contacted me to tell me that there would be a delay with my delivery of compost, I was fine with this and they assured me that I would have it within a few weeks. I ordered in April and 3 months later after not being able to contact them (website is down and they do not answer the phone) I've had to open a case with my bank. Luckily they are chasing it so I should get a refund by end of August. Such a faff, do not trust this company.

Unfortunately I am yet another customer…

Unfortunately I am yet another customer who has been ripped off by this company. They failed to deliver my order, and were impossible to contact. I finally cancelled my order and two months later I have still not received my refund from them. As a previous reviewer stated, avoid this company at all costs.

Very poor service and failed to deliver.

Could not make contact (see above) so made a claim on the credit card company who refunded me.
A very poor experience. Very prompt at taking payment up front!!

Like all of the other negative reviews

Like all of the other negative reviews, Beaver compost did not deliver my order after 6 weeks of chasing and became unresponsive to communication. Had to recover my payment through my credit card. Think the company is in free fall. Do not order as they will take your money but not deliver.

Utterly useless

Utterly useless, Spoke with with the customer support team, who didn't know what they were selling and don't know how to calculate basic volume even though they sell on volumes.

The jumbo bags are calculated as 1000L this is a Unit of measurement derived from the space it takes to hold that volume of water. 1m x 1m x 1m x1000(at sea level) = 1000L.

I ordered 3x 1400L (1.4m³) bags. So was a little surprised and confused when 1xm³ bags turned up......as each bag was 400L short of the order (1.2m³ total).
Obviously I took this as a miss pick and tried to give them a call.....pointless as all day/ any time of day you get the answerphone.

So email sent, to eventually get a reply that added even more confusion. I'd explained the situation and in my naivety took that a company shipping bulk volume of product would know this basic math calculation.......wrong. I got a response that read. " Hi, the item is all present and we have shipped 1400L in 1000L bags for your convenience"......erm? At this I was about to call either Brian Cox or Antman. Brian to get an explanation, antman to report a breach of copyright/I.P. but no, I thought, I'll dust off my GCSE maths guide and send some coaching info back.

And that's when the call came in, I was hoping it was going to be an explanation of how they managed to achieve atomic distance alteration, as we go camping alot and for a large family getting all that camping gear in, information of this technique would be greatly appreciated......alas no info to be gained, just a comment that my maths was wrong and the order was good. At this point I felt robbed twice so asked to escalate to thier chief atomic physicist......unfortunately he was off with long covid so I got the sales manager. "Danny" a Dire situation but not the chap from the BBC show.

I explained the situation, I explained the measurements, I explained my desire to understand the quantum mechanics of it all. They just issued a refund and a half hearted apology for getting found out.

Long story short. Don't use. Though, the stuff that did come is FULL of the "special kind of mushroom" might explain the confusion the support team show........but obviously this is just conjecture.

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company , I am fumeing, I ordered compost back in May, basically they have stollen from me as taken my money and not delivered.
It's impossible to get a response from the Company on the phone or email .
