Unfortunately very poor service

Unfortunately very poor service. I can understand that logistic issues are common just now but the lack of communication and sticking to confirmed dates was very frustrating. 8 weeks for some soil!

Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service. No response to my requests for an update on delivery for 3 months, then as I was requesting a refund from the bank when a ton of compost arrived unannounced. Never order from this company.

UNRELIABLE AND SHORT CHANGE ON QUANTITY

I ordered a Jumbo bag of compost suitable for raised beds. The delivery of the compost was a MONTH late and when it was delivered it was not a Jumbo bag as it only covered half the area which had been calculated so something was wrong. Beaver have FAILED to contact me regarding my query about the delivery being wrong. I would not use this company again nor recommend anyone else uses - I now use a far more reputable and reliable company Quality Garden Supplies who DO deliver on time and DO deliver the correct amount of compost.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Ordered compost and money taken out of my account end of May 2022, no delivery. Phone lines cut off and no answer on email. Having to try and get my money back through my back. £120!!! Avoid avoid avoid!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Am now waiting for an order since May that has not turned up (have paid). Website been taken down and phone been cut off. I wouldn't mind but I spoke to somebody a few weeks ago about missing order and they said it would arrive two days later and even gave me times and took instructions for driver. If being charitable, they have gone bust, if not they are stealing money from people.

TERRIBLE COMPANY …

One star is one too many for this company! Ordered decorative bark to the value of £242.00 in April …. no goods, no refund, no response to emails and telephone calls (now no website)! Terrible company, atrocious (non existent) communications, outright thieves!

I ordered 1000L of topsoil and when…

I ordered 1000L of topsoil and when didn't arrive by the expected delivery day I had a hard time chasing. I tried by phone but had to give up tryng to get through as on hold for nearly an hour. I sent an email and only got an automated response. The topsoil did arrive in the end and we were satisified with the product. I need is a VAT invoice and requested this by email the same day I placed the order. I have tried emailing the office@ email address and contact email for Marcus (I found this in the trustpilot email near the bottom) and still no response, no VAT invoice. We need the VAT invoice for the auditor and I am running out of options for contacting them. This was all surprising as last year I ordered the same thing and it came on time and I got the VAT invoice (after a couple of chasing emails).

One star is too much

One star is too much, I would have scored zero. Placed an order on May 15th and still waiting for delivery. Received message from palletways saying my delivery is complete as sender did not have goods to send. So I have paid £100 and no compost. Website was taken down and unable to contact anyone. I am not alone, there are hundreds of people in same situation

A bad company do not use.

ordered four 1400 litre bags and paid for next day delivery. Received only three bags three days later.Managed to contact Beaver Compost and was refunded £15 for the delivery of the undelivered bag. We emptied the first bag into a 1000 litre raised flower bed and it didn’t fill it .We then emptied the other two, using a 70 litre trug and found that both bags are under 1000 litres and they should be 1400 litres.Unable to contact Beaver Compost as they don’t answer the phone or reply to the many emails we sent them. Over three weeks later the fourth bag arrived ,the company still hadn’t contacted us or replied to any of our emails.This company is very badly run, customer service is non existent and they are supplying bags that are over 400 litres short.My advice look somewhere else for bulk bags of soil.

Broken Glass and Nails!!

Ordered compost for next day delivery but had an email saying that there was a problem with their packaging machine so would be delayed. I tried calling and emailing to get an update and a refund for the next day delivery I opted for but no answer or reply from the company.

I received my order a few weeks later, only to find a poor quality product. Not compost at all but just topsoil, it also contained a lot of nails and broken glass so beware!!

£300 worth of compost came 4 weeks…

£300 worth of compost came 4 weeks after buying from Beaver, after what was supposed to be 3-5 days delivery. Every call to Beaver took over an hour to get through. They just could not handle demand :(
Eventually received weeks later
Suffice to say I had to get compost elsewhere in the interim period or my trees/plants waiting to be planted would not have survived..
