We have had a fantastic experience with Bedford Bifolds. We moved into our new home in February and wanted to change our plastic French door to sliders. From our first meeting with Rob in the showroom to our survey with Josh and finally the fitting the whole process was great. We are so pleased with our new aluminium doors and would not hesitate to recommend them!

Ordered a set of bifold doors in November, initially sent in full set of construction drawings for a quote. Went to the showroom to meet with Keith who convinced my partner, against my better judgment to alter the design to have outward folding doors. Huge deposit paid on the understanding that surveying would take place early January when opening was ready. To be clear this survey was to confirm sizes, not whether doors would work. Before deposit paid I had a legal document detailing the doors, opening direction along with all other details.
Construction started 27/12/26, we new the lead time for these doors was 6-8 weeks, we accepted this and understood that we would have an exposed rear of our house until fitting. During the time between ordering and construction starting we designed the layout of our interior around the design of our doors and the doors opening out. This included lighting, radiators and fitted furniture and kitchen.
Our contractor worked incredibly fast to create the structural opening so doors could be surveyed and ordered to start the installation date clock. Bedford Bi-Fold doors attended site measured up and confirmed that everything was ok, and advised we should receive an installation date within 48 hrs.
10 days past and no communication, after numerous emails and calls I received a flippant call from Keith who explained that they could no longer supply doors as quoted and that their resolution was to reduce the size of the doors, and have them fold inwards.
It’s important for potential customers who read this who are considering using this company that the consequences of this situation was hugely significant to us but was obviously not to them. The stress caused was incredible, and again they showed very little appetite to appreciate this.
In conclusion, we rejected their ignorant resolution, it had no reflection on our efforts to deign a beautiful and functional home. They refused any discussion about compensation leaving us with the only option but to take a refund, which took over a week to be authorised and find a company that reflected our morals, integrity and professionalism. We have found a new local company to supply the doors as we desired, but we have had to accept a further 3 weeks exposure to the elements.
My advice is, regardless of what cover up response Keith writes in response to this review, read the all negative impartial reviews, you will see I am not alone in my experience and look for alternative local business who are reliable.

Just had Bedford bifolds fit new sliding doors. 9/9/2025. Unbelievably satisfied with both product and service. Starting with Keith (sales) director and fitters Ben and Archie. They just couldn’t be faulted. Everything about this company is 100%. Thankyou all

Updated 11/11/24 I have been asked to remove this review even though you know that I am the end user of your product, and the builder is John Nixon. You know this because you called him this morning regarding my review, and he called me to relay that you demand I remove my review as I am not the customer, he is. I have been threatened with legal action for posting a true and accurate reflection of my experience with you. This is like saying someone can’t review a Samsung product because they bought it from AO, and AO is their customer.
If you don’t like how people experience your business, maybe your customer service needs reviewing.

I can only echo the dreadful after sales experience of others on here. We have had bifolds in from this company that have been in situ for 2.5 years, and early on the service door handle came loose, and they argued about coming out to see to that, saying “if it’s customer misuse, you’ll be charged £250” - without even coming out to the next two issues we’ve had, we’ve been met with terse tones and talk of “customer misuse” which seems to be their get-out for taking any responsibility for their product. Last week I called to advise that the service door that had been sticking, was now not closing and my property was unsecured - for them to reply that they wouldn’t be able to send anyone round for over two weeks! Just awful. 10 year guarantee…?! What for? If you think so many customers misuse your doors (which are designed to open and close, sigh), then you likely have either a serious design flaw or just zero interest AT ALL in customer service - both I suspect. So poor. Avoid and find someone else. Just beyond disappointing.

Right from the outset I was dealing with the sales director Keith Bright

His friendly and supportive and expert opinion pointed me to a great product their lift and slide patio doors

I needed two one measuring around 5 metres and one around 2.5 metres

These were made to measure hence had a few weeks wait before installation

His team of installer’s arrived promptly on the day of the installation

His team were very good…install went very well

These doors by far are great quality and look amazing

I think the guys were tired doing 2 doors in a day

They tidied and cleaned up the glass

After they left I just had to spend some time cleaning the aluminium frame… not sure if the marks were as a result of the protective film but took me a while to get off

I’m glad I went with the lift and slide system

Thanks in particular to Keith Bright for guiding us through the whole process. I would have no hesitation recommending them and will be using again for some further windows we will be replacing in the near future!

Great company, kept us informed of the process from manufacture to installation. Very professional, people who installed they were very friendly and left the area clean and tidy. We did have a small problem couple of days after - dealt with quickly, re-aligned and reassessed the door and all was good. I would definitely recommend Bedford Bifolds Ltd

From start to finish Bedford Bi-Folds have been fantastic. From initial meeting, to discuss requirements for the glazing in our extension, to quote to install, the team have been attentive, responsive and knowledgeable throughout. Very pleased with the glazing - would highly recommend.

The workmanship and quality of the bifolds is fantastic. They are so thick and really cut out a lot of outdoor sound and a good temperature barrier. The workmen were very focused and worked hard for hours to remove previous glass sliding doors and fit the bi-fold doors perfectly. My doors were installed on 14 April 2023 and months later they are still working perfectly. We are very happy and would definitely recommend this company to others.

I would highly recommend Bedford Bi Fold ltd. From the moment I emailed with interest they were quick to contact me and start to design my doors . The designs were clear to understand and also the price clearly explained. I was kept informed as to how my order was progressing with many emails right up until installation . The doors have transformed our living space , we are absolutely delighted.

We recently had replacement aluminium sliding doors in the kitchen/diner and 6 aluminium windows. The lounge had replacement aluminium sliding doors which involved some building work. Upstairs all the windows were replaced with UPVC including a 3 part bay window. Thank you to the whole team you all did an amazing job. We are so pleased with our new look and the quality of the windows and workmanship.

We recently fitted our double doors with Bedford Bifolds and I must say the process was very smooth and stress free. Our surveyor Keith kindly suggested we use Tony Davis for the building project and we were soo glad we used Tony and his team. Jack and Steve were brilliant from start to finish. They followed instructions from the paperwork which the Bedford team provided. Both companies worked smoothly and I am sooo happy with the finished project. I really appreciate all your help and support offered by the builders and door fitters. Brilliant team. I will definitely recommend Bedford Bifolds and Davis Project Management Services.

We recently had our shopfront windows replaced by Bedford Bi-Folds, the excellent professional service started from Keith and his very competitive quotation, we received a great quality product and the workmanship from the fitters was second to none, a bonus was we had no clearing up to do once they had left

My Bedford bifold doors were fitted by a third party who have since ceased trading. The doors had dropped and Bedford bifold came out and fixed the problem. Nothing but helpful throughout.I

The doors had not been installed well by the installer in the first place. I wish I had gone directly to Bedford bifold but was a the mercy of a builder!

I would recommend Bedford bifold to anyone.

Awful company to deal with, customer service nil, avoid at all costs

Following on from my previous post about 2 sets of sliding doors costing 10k and the level of customer service once they get their money. Well only a few weeks in from installation and we have a problem with one of the doors, so we rang to get them to look at it. They made an appointment with us and turned up 2 hours late, walked in took a photo and left , said they would be back next day but of course no one came. Emailed them , no answer. Phoned them to be treated like we didn’t matter and told we signed of on doors and it was basically our problem. They may get back to us as a gesture of good willl!!!!! 10 year warranty a joke. Don’t buy from them give your custom to a business that values its customers

Kevin and his team are very experienced and professional fitters/fabricators of Bi-folds, windows , doors and orangery lanterns.
He supplied and fitted all of the above to an extension on my home last year and a year later there are no issues whatsoever with any of it.
I would use his firm again without hesitation.

After experiencing difficulty trying to locate an aluminium door and window supplier, I came across Bedford Bifolds who just happened to do everything right. I asked for a quote and received it the same day with good picing, I was invited to see the manufacturing facility where my questions were answered in an informed and confident manner and the doors / windows once ordered were installed in good time as promised.

From start to finish it was an easy process which was professionally managed and we were delighted with the finished product so we would have no hesitation at all in recommending Bedford Bifolds for aluminium doors and windows.
