Great Service & Helpful Staff

Bought a bed from Bed SOS, while constructing it one of the slats for the base was broken, spoke to Eleanor who was really helpful and got replacement slats out to me that week. Very speedy service and bed is excellent. Will definitely recommend.

Didnt arrive and refuse to refund

Didnt arrive and refuse to refund. 3 times they lied and said delivery had been attempted when it had not then they blame system updates as to incorrect info on delivery times.

As I informed you the matress is damaged and you want me to pay to return it.

Many thanks for your review. As you are aware we have offered to refund the £265 for the bed frame multiple times. We have also responded to your PayPal Case. Please return the mattress you took receipt of, which you no longer want, and we will more than happily refund that too. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the courier company.

The outer box of the mattress is the only damage visible. You have not sent images to show the actual product is damaged, therefore the mattress can only be deemed as *unwanted* which the customer is liable to return at their own cost. Had you supplied images showing the mattress was damaged then our supplier would have created an uplift. As it stands, the mattress outer packaging is damaged, not the actual mattress. Please return the mattress so we can issue a refund on the mattress too.

****UPDATE***: A refund of £265.00 has now been refunded back to you via the PayPal claim which you submitted. We can only refund the delivered mattress once you have returned the unwanted mattress to ourselves within the 14 day cancellation period. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

avoid this company as if it were Coronavirus!

My bed was delivered with the wrong screws so I was unable to assemble the bed. I emailed bed sos over 10 days ago and they have yet to respond. I had to source and contact the bed manufacturer myself in order to get replacement parts. You will notice from most of the responses to the complaints from this company that they are quick to absolve themselves from blame and pin it on the suppliers but as the retailer they need to accept responsibility especially as they are profiting from the sale of the goods. It is completely unacceptable not to respond to a customer complaint. My advice to anyone looking to buy from bed sos is to read the reviews And source a better company that takes accountability for the products that they sell. I’m thoroughly disappointed in the service I’ve received. No doubt after reading this they will be quick to say they never received my email despite the fact I received notification it was delivered and read!!!

Update- it’s funny how when the shortcomings of your company are exposed online you are able to respond within 10 minutes yet despite being the company that actually sold me the bed you didn’t have the good manners or sense to simply acknowledge my email sent over 10 days ago and advise that you have passed it on to the suppliers. And for your information my issue hasn’t been resolved and 10 days later I’m still waiting for the correct screws to arrive as the wrong ones were sent twice!! But as bed sos is such an irresponsible retailer you haven’t bothered to follow up with the customer and check whether the issue has actually been resolved instead in a desperate attempt to protect your reputation you decided to lie rather than acertain the correct facts which confirms everything that I stated in my original post! So to all the customers still deciding whether to use this company have a look at the facts and make your own decision. They’re actually a joke!!

Apologies that your email was not responded to. We didn't see it necessary to respond as the manufacturer had contacted us first thing on the Monday morning to advise that you had gone beyond ourselves, contacted the manufacturer regarding the incorrect/ missing hardware. Therefore, your email was overlooked/ moved to general, as the issue was already in hand through your own means direct with the manufacturer. We simply didn't want to confuse any communication you had had with the manufacturer, to complicate the situation/ any communication. Your email was received over the weekend period, which our offices are closed during. On Monday morning, the manufacturer had contacted us to state they had resolved the issue you brought to their attention and they stated they had the issue resolved by way of replacement parts. You were already aware that the issue was in hand and being resolved. It seemed unnecessary for us to therefore become involved, as the issue was already being sorted by way of replacement parts; however in future we will be sure to respond to all customers so that they do not feel that they have received poor service. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Anyone seen my bed?

So, I ordered a bed for next day delivery. Dismantled the old one and waited for the new one to arrive. The father in law was visting who had 2 hip replacements and a bad shoulder.. nothing like a nice new bed to sleep on.

Day of delivery comes... it’s half term so have to keep the kids in for the day. The day is getting on and no delivery, we call and email but really we get no where. Needless to say the bed never arrived.

The father in law opted to sleep on the sofa due to the height of a mattress on the floor.

I call the next day to be told the bed will arrive between 2.45 and 4.45 so I rearrange my day... guess what... no bed. I call and I call and the phone simply goes unanswered.

We have now sent 3 emails... these have still not been responded to.

My advice is very simple... this business advertise beds available for speedy delivery... from my experience they just don’t deliver. They use Xpd who in my experience are the worst couriers ever!

I have since cancelled my order father in law will be on the sofa for the second night in a row.

I suspect the beds are probably well priced and good quality... shame I will never find out.

Advice... change your couriers.. there is a common theme on these posts... put more people in the customer service department! People will be far more understanding if you had the courtesy to answer the phone and respond to emails.

Excellent Quality and Service

Our delivery was suppose to be on Tuesday the weather was terrible so our bed didn’t arrive, we expected this to happen, so thank you for caring about your employees and delivery drivers it’s great to see as some companies don’t. My husband called the office great service said they would deliver today before 12 sure enough our bed came. The delivery driver had a great attitude and very helpful. The bed is excellent quality very well made can’t quite believe how beautiful it is for the price, just amazing, I hope my alarm doesn’t go of in the morning. Thank you to a great company we are happy customers

Really good, experience. I can only fault cosmetic stuff

Not a fan of the ‘as seen on tv’ banner

But the website was really easy to navigate on a mobile device and finding the right bed, a sturdy king size bed, was really easy.

Checking out was easy as a new customer and delivery is really fast.

Could use some sort of page to understand mattresses a bit better, and I never like the constant claims of ‘sales’ but the truth is that every company dealing with furniture claims to have outrageously unrealistic sales to the extent you question how anyone stays in business. So it’s to be expected. Overall a good experience and only cosmetic suggestions that I can make regarding the order process.

Broken bed after 4 months

We received our bed order back in October 2019, and last night the central support beam snapped in half! How can a bed break after only 4 months?

I would really appreciate a replacement part to fix the bed, I don’t need a refund or a new bed, and will be calling your offices tomorrow.

Good company to do business with

I found Bed SOS to be excellent. I ordered one day, was sent an order confirmation email by the end of that day - giving a link to track delivery - and my bed frame was delivered the very next day within the first 15 minutes of the two-hour time slot. All the many components for assembling the bed frame were there, with spares include. I can therefore not fault the company or its service or products and would definitely use them again. (Indeed, I wish I had ordered my mattress from them too, as I have been given a 28 day delivery timeframe for that from another [famous] bed company.)

Great Company

Ordered bed frame from the company and also rang to check delivery date etc. Excellent customer service from the lady I spoke to, very helpful and polite and lovely bed frame once it arrived. Would definitely use again, great service!

My advise would be not to order from…

My advise would be not to order from this company, if you hope to receive your order at least near to your the expected delivery date.

The bed we ordered was clearly advertised as available for next day delivery, as you do, we took that with caution and ordered with four working days notice to the date required.

We received an order confirmation, advising our delivery would be made in two days, then nothing. Until we called today (the expected delivery date) to be advised that the bed was not in stock and would not be delivered for a further two weeks. No offer of compensation, just an offer of refund for the order, four days after the order was made.

Ordered bunk bed

Ordered the Julian Bowen Domino Maple Bunk Bed.
If you're in Scotland like I am you aren't going to get your product for at least 2 weeks, no matter which postcode you are.
The customer service is excellent, calls are taken quickly and emails responded to efficiently.
My order came directly from the manufacturer. I ordered on the 5th of Nov, I had expected it to come within the 10 days as my postcode was not included in the list that would take longer and booked time off from work to take delivery and build it. They offered delivery for the 22nd, I was back at work by then so gave them a list of my days off and they arranged for delivery on the 28th.
Delivery guys were very nice, even although they had driven for over 6 hours straight!
The bunk bed took around 5 hours for us to build, but it is fantastic. My wee boy loves it.

If I'd known it would have been an additional week for delivery and had not wasted annual leave then I would have given 5 stars, special thanks to Eleanor in customer service who is excellent.

Incredibly disappointed by quality and lack of customer support

We had an emergency and called Bed SOS. We could not have chosen a worse option. The bed arrived late and the quality was less than we had expected. In addition, some of the parts were broken - the packaging was in tact so the company knew they were broken before being sent out. They were replaced but the ones sent are a different colour.
We will NEVER use this company again.

Brilliant website

Excellent website and named British products, very good value for money. Only downside is a time slot? having to wait up to 10hours for perhaps a 5 minute drop? This is the only downside for what is a very well run company.
