The customer service responded to me promptly and made a direct phone call to the publisher to verify if it is counterfeit. I guess nowadays even universities could get tricked by the copies. They wired me the book money the same day after they contacted the publisher. I sincerely appreciate it. I definitely would use their service again!

Got my money quick! No issues

I used this to sell my books for first time. At first I was concern after I read reviews, but I gave them a try. Ofc I got an email saying one of my books was forfeited and I got really upset. I e-mail them, they responded promptly saying we will wait for answer from editor. I was upset, but three days later I got another email that everything went well and I got paid!!! So I can say im happy now! I will definitely use them again!!!

They pay for the books when I ship the book.

I had to contact them a few weeks after a sent my books in because I hadn't heard a word from them and hadn't recieved payment. They did get back to me in a timely manner and told me they had received my books but they had to be sent to the publisher for confirmation as they are often replicated. They only thing I would change is that they send an email out when they receive the books to let the customer know what the next step is.

After I sent the book in I heard nothing for a long time, so I had to contact them and then all of a sudden my book was approved and I received the money in my account.

My experience is very similar to others here and I wonder if "suspected conterfeit" may be an excuse to delay or avoid payment.
Are they trying to sell our books while we wait?

I sent two books and heard nothing until I emailed them after a couple weeks. BMB responded that my books were "under review". Then, when a month had passed with no communication, I emailed again and BMB responded that one of my books was suspected counterfeit. I asked "Which one?" and Wendy wrote back that they can't "relish" any more information. So I wrote back "Why not? Don't you know which book you sent to the publisher?" and got no response.

I have photos of my books and the receipts from from my college bookstore. I called the bookstore manager and she assured me that they're very careful and have never sold a counterfeit textbook.

If they're delaying and avoiding payment to students, who send their books in on good faith, then that faith is misplaced. It's ridiculous that they never update anything on my order status and they won't tell me which book was supposedly sent to the publisher. Something doesn't smell right.

There are plenty of other book buying companies that communicate and pay promptly.

They pay fast the first time. Then everytime after that you will have to email them to remind them that they owe you. They will then say they sent your books to the publisher and froze your account until the books return. They will not notify you of this until you email them to gollow up o ln your order. They are moving like untrustworthy ecampus.com now. CANCEL BEERMONEY BOOKS THEY ARE LIARS.

Took over a month to hear back, and even then the only reason was because I had to reach out and email them asking why I hadn’t heard anything yet. Its funny that as soon as I emailed them asking about my order it just so happened that that morning it was approved. Now looking at other reviews this seems to be a common problem. It’s been over a week since that email and still no payment received. Will not be using again.

Mailed 2 books in about a month ago. Never got a response. Followed up today and was told one of my books was sent to the publisher for "authentication". This sure looks like a scam to me. Could have paid for the one book, could have returned both, could have informed me that you think the book I bought on campus was "counterfeit". You did none of the above.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this company.

Update: company tried to get me to edit this review. No, it is factual and accurate and it took 6 weeks plus you accusing me of fraud. I'd rate you zero stars if I could. Your threat of "this is a legal matter" was asinine!

This was a great company to do a book buyback with! Competitive prices and fast customer service.

mailed my books jan 28th, just got paid in full yesterday March 13th.
UPDATE 2-4-19 Still no money for my books but they said there was an issue with payment. I will keep you all updated until I receive some kind of payment for my books.
I emailed once after weeks no money regarding my books. They emailed and said there was a hold up, and then emailed and said all was clear and payment should be issued soon. Still nothing. Emailed again, and they denied ever getting my first email although they replied to it. I screen shot and sent the first email to them and their response. Now they say it was the wrong customer they sent the email to and that my books were “definitely under investigation for counterfeit”. I bought them from my college book store. I have sold many textbooks after using them for classes and have never once had this problem with any other website. I read other people’s reviews having the same issues and NEVER thought this would happen to me, I bought them from the college bookstore. Now I’m wondering if I will ever see the money, or my textbooks without having to pay $15 per book shipping trying to get them back like other reviews have mentioned. $164 worth of college books gone. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your research on companies and sell them somewhere reputable like Amazon or EBay.

I wouldn't even give this company one star. I mailed in my books about two months ago and have not gotten a confirmation email or any communication from them. I also emailed them several weeks ago and have not gotten a response regarding my payment. I have emailed them again but I am guessing I will not hear from them again.

Edit: After writing this review, I received an email that my books were processing by the publishing company. I then received another email shortly after that my check would be mailed. I have received my payment. However, I think this review had a lot to do with the email communication I received and payment that came shortly after.

Process was easy and cost nothing. I then received a notification saying both my books were counterfeit and if I want them back it would cost $15 each. I emailed the company explaining these books were bought from the University I was attending and were used for on line classes. I have pictures and one book even has an unused scratch off for an online code. I have not received an email back.....

Easy shipment process and higher price paid than other used book sites. The payment took a bit longer than expected. It was a little longer than 2 weeks from the time I shipped it to the time I was paid.

Sent in my textbook, never got a confirmation email that it was received by the company. I waited a few weeks, then emailed the company about the status of my transaction and never got a reply back. So I emailed them again and eventually got an update from someone. Recieved payment after 4 weeks I sent my textbook in.

Very easy and straight forward, I would use this site to sell other books
