Beer Sniffers 

Terrible communication. No answer off phone, instagram or emails despite numerous attempts. Ordered on 10th and only had one email saying they would tell me when was posted with tracking information. But nothing. Really disappointed as needed the beer for weekend away but let me down

Beer supplied bore little relation to that ordered. Emailed query remains unanswered.

The order came quickly the packaging was great and secure I will definitely order from them again.

No complaints. Ordered and delivered as described.

Normal good service, received an email to to say the PBR I ordered was out of date and it wouldn’t be back in stock until July. I was offered and refund.. chased the refund. Still no reply.

Reliable seller of hard to find beers, good communication and fast delivery. Faultless!

Ordered on a Thursday, the package arrived on Tuesday. Everything was included in it, and it was well packaged.

Ordered on11th May for large pack to celebrate a 70th birthday for Wednesday 16th May. Received notification of order but up until Tuesday no update of dispatch and no answer to phone call/ emails/ instagram or text. I was finally able to make contact via another method and received call back from the owner straight away. Owner was apologetic said not received any emails/ messages etc but assured crate would be sent out today ( as stated on their t&cs within 72 hours- working days as they dont work weekends)so that was very reassuring ( Tuesday 15th). It was to his word and received DHL notification later that day. A fabulous wonderfully boxed order of mixed world lagers arrived on time next day with a few extra bottles in as a sorry for my worry of not being able to contact for good measure. Recipient delighted. Thanks very much! I would be happy to use Beer Sniffers again now!

I ordered online and expected an update saying the order had been dispatched. When this didn’t come I rang them to be give 2 different excuses in on call and a promise they would dispatch that day. Guess what. That’s right nothing. Now incoming here and find out they are doing dodgy stuff with trust pilot. I will never use these guys again

I made an order and they decided to replace some beers without checking. It is impossible to contact them. They don’t answer the phone or emails. Definitely avoid them!

Similar experience as other recent reviews. Delivery took over 2 weeks and pretty poor communication from the company, saying that Charles did give me a call to apologise and explain what was happening with my order. Really good selection of beers (and ciders) but a bit let down by delivery/business processes

Their courier DHL were supposed to deliver on the 19th but failed to do so stating that I had refused delivery. I had not. I was home all day and nobody came near. I email Beer sniffers and they came straight back with 'I will get straight on to them' I have emailed them several times since, no reply, tried to phone them it rings and then cuts you off and after chasing DHL it just states that I have to get back on to Beer Sniffers but they will not respond. Had my money but no goods and no communication. Extremely bad experience.

Bad experience. They sent me my product, attempted to deliver it once and then it just got sent back to them. After calling and emailing about 10 times I still haven't heard a thing. Their phone number rings out and no-one responds to emails. They have my product and money so have effectively defrauded me.

Regular customer for years. I was out when their courier UPS...yeah) came. So instead of being redelivered it was deposited in a shop half a mile away!!!
UPDATE - an hour later beer arrived!!! UPS driver said we had been misinformed about delivery and that a shop would never accept so large a parcel anyway.
TODAY - got an apologetic and informative call from Beersniffers. There is an issue is that couriers transporting alcohol aren't allowed to leave it with neighbours in case there are kids there. Beersniffers are well aware if the issue and trying to work on a better solution.
Anyway - issue resolved.

I am writing this to update my last review , I had placed an order in October and only part of it had been delivered .
Today Charles made sure that the delivery was made in full with 12 extra bottles .
Thank you Charles , we appreciate the extra bottles and thank you for making sure that the delivery was completed .

Product is excellent and really well packaged … highly recommended

I had left a negative review yesterday but had a lovely phone call from one of the owners and I am happy to amend this (the problem was with UPS delivery) - they always have a great range of beers at really fair prices and I have no problem recommending them. It's worth going on the site just to look at the German Beer Section alone.

Ordered in time for Christmas and was really disappointed with what I received. Only got about half the beers I ordered and got replacements for everything else. No email to confirm this was ok (or confirmation order originally either). Never had this problem in previous years. I'd avoid if this is the service you get.

Opened an account and ordered beer that was in stock in Sept 24, weeks later nothing. Nobody answered the phone, one email was eventually answered by a guy called “Charles” saying the beer had just arrived and would be shipped that day. Nothing no response to further emails sent the end of October. No tracking as advertised and now my order has disappeared from my account history.

Also similar to other reviews, I've made a purchase - received no confirmation email, there's no order status on the website and no follow up to a contact attempt I made.

Update:

They are operating as I've had a response and have received my order. I did need to send several emails to follow up as there wasn't really a sense of urgency with sending out the order. It was only 1 hour after an email this week that the shipping label was created.

The beers are great but I probably won't be ordering from Beer Sniffers again as there's too much uncertainty around whether or not your order is being dispatched. Their accounts are also overdue on Companies House, so the business clearly can't be doing all that well.
