SCAM - there is no refund made on free, fully refundable cancellations
I made a fully refundable booking on April 11th 2026 through the STAYZ platform in Australia. My credit card was debited within about 10 seconds. Belvilla requested I upload my photo ID to confirm my booking, which I did not want to do. I cancelled by booking and received a credit note by email stating I would receive a full refund. Four weeks later and several emails with Vrbo I have still not received my refund and Vrbo has requested I lodge a dispute with my credit card company. Belvilla has said it has attempted to refund me but my credit card company has said no attempted/declined transactions have been made. Why is this on me? Vrbo/STAYZ should be refunding my money and seeking reimbursement themselves. DO NOT BOOK with this company. You will not receive your refund.

The Appartement was very nice and…
The Appartement was very nice and Clean. Everything seemed to be new and put together with a good taste. The kitchen was well equipped as well as the bathrooms. You did not hear much from other guests, so it was pretty quiet.
Also the location in the heart of the city was super and you could go everywhere you wanted within a short walking distance.
We loved to stay there and would like to come back.

Great place to stay for a small group
The place was as advertised and well stocked. The beds were comfortable although the pillows were not. It was clean and adequate for our use. We would recommend a turn lock for inside the house rather than a keyed lock so that you could easily exit in the event of an emergency. We thought there was only one bathroom, but indeed there were 2. A full bathroom (3 piece) and a half bathroom (2 piece). This could be better explained in the description of the place.

Clean but small
The apartment was very clean but small. The bedrooms have no closets or drawer space. The bathrooms have no counter space or hooks to hang anything. I would not recommend for two couples, two singles or one couple would be okay. If you're a larger person it will be a struggle. There's a flight of stairs to the apartment so heavy luggage is a challenge. The location is excellent as it is away from the tourist areas, with many local restaurants. We really enjoyed the location.
