We've been working with Bench for roughly 2.5 years now and they've been fantastic. I own two gyms in San Francisco, CA. They are very responsive and have our books up to date. It helps having a company on top of your books so you can make proper business decisions in the moment, vs waiting months for them to be consolidated as I've experienced with other companies.

Nice and easy, no mistakes, and always responsive to needed changes. Seamless experience.

Since 2019 when I came on board - yeah in COVID they helped me with a lower rate - I have had a few bumps and tangles but these people have grown into a dynamic sharp pointed accounting spear. I wasn’t sure a few years ago. But the ‘new’ vibe is completely goal driven. Thank you. Well done. Staying in it for the long term. I love my bookkeeper and hope they/I pay her well enough to keep her!!

My experience with Bench has been amazing!!! The history book keeping went very smooth. They were very nice to work with me and my situation. I was behind two years of book keeping. I am all caught up thanks to Bench! Renu is an excellent part of the bench team! She is very dedicated and extremly knowledgeable about book keeping!!!! Amanda did an amazing job in the book catch up department as well as Muhammed being very understanding in the billing department. Bench has an amazing team!!! I am very grateful that I am apart of Bench!!!

I have been using Bench for many years. My rep I currently work with has been an absolute joy to work with. He makes bookkeeping a little easier for me. Accounting/bookkeeping is something I always feel apprehensive about, but because my rep communicates in a way I understand I am very happy with my subscription.

great company as of 2025/2026 year. 2024 They switched ownership without notice putting many companies in a panic but they have redeemed themselves this year

I am following up on my review that I gave a few weeks ago. Since then, the Bench team has been working with me to resolve the problems that I reported.

First, I'd like to thank Jack Frazer for his diligence and fast response to my issue. What I liked is that he identified the issues, apologized for them, and then quickly moved to finding a resolution. He did not waste time and he was very professional about it.

As a professional and business owner, we all know that things happen, and even with the best intentions, sometimes we fall short. I have no issues with this, since this is normal. We get better from our mistakes, so I am all for working with people and agencies that know how to manage and address issues.

To me, it's almost more important how you address issues/problems rather than your ability to not have them at all. True reliability is when you know you can trust a company to fix their errors effectively and efficiently! And I have to say, Bench did that.

Now, I would also like to thank the accountant that Jack enlisted to help resolve my books, Laurentiu Medlicott. The insight that I was provided by Laurentiu reminded me of why I selected Bench in the first place. I received clear answers to my questions, and the books were updated right after. I was able to move forward in processing my 2025 taxes, as a result!

In all, due to their professionalism, diligence, and great service/product, I've decided to stay with Bench. I am going to work more closely with the team, and I will do my part in submitting documents more timely to make the service better as well.

This is the worst company. I wouldn't even give them a star but I have to click something. I paid for full accounting services for 2024. I am still waiting for my books to be completed. I am not able to file my business taxes without them. I emailed my bookkeeper and she is not responding. I got an email from them inviting me to purchase more services. So I emailed that person and every other staff member that had contacted me throughout the year of 2024. No one has responded to my complaint at all. I just called to give a verbal complaint and the automated voice would only allow me to leave a message. I am going to have to sue this company for my money and services. And I will. So if I do not get my books completed, they will be hearing from our lawyer. I am tired of these predatory businesses thinking that can take advantage of people. Absolutely not. They will regret ignoring what could have been addressed simply and professionally.

I've been working with Bench for a few years now and they have always been kind, efficient, and flexible. I truly feel they understand every business is different and they provide the capability to handle individualized needs!

Bench Accounting is a great bookkeeping service for any business. They are responsive and always willing to answer your questions and schedule a remote meeting, like Zoom, if you need one. I have used this company for over 3 years.

I’ve used Bench for both of my S corps and somehow they’ve managed to turn what used to feel like financial whack-a-mole into something calm, clean, and actually understandable. Before Bench, bookkeeping felt like a recurring jump scare. Now it feels easy.

Alice deserves her own five stars. She is wildly responsive, patient with questions, and explains things in plain English instead of accountant hieroglyphics. Every time I think, “Okay, this is the moment it gets complicated,” she calmly untangles it and sends it back neatly folded.

Bench basically takes the complexity, stress, and low grade financial anxiety out of running a business. If you want your books to stop feeling like a dumpster fire and start feeling like a system, I highly recommend it.

Knowing that a have a trustworthy company that is handling all of my bookkeeping is such a weight off my shoulders. I had very messy books at the beginning of working with them 3 years ago and they cleaned everything up for me. The year end financials are so easy to send to my CPA. I highly recommend them!

I started working with Bench in fall 2025, they offered a catch-up service along with doing my future 2026 books. My 2025 wrap up went well - the team was communicative and responsive along the way. It's early 2026 now and I don't anticipate any issues if all continues this way. Happy with my experience so far!

I have been with Bench Accounting for five years. Overall, I have been pleased with my services from them. Bench was ahead of schedule with my financial package this year which was an improvement from last year. My personal bookkeeper has been great in communicating with me in a timely manner. Just recently after reviewing my financial package I noticed a change that needed to be made. My bookkeeper jumped right on it and updated immediately. The only complaint I have, is that I have one financial institute I deal with, which they have had trouble digitally connecting with and requires me to have to upload my monthly statements to my bookkeeper. Other than that, I personally feel using Bench Accounting has saved me time and frustration and has been money will spent.

I'd rate 0 stars if I could. Bench has been the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with in my life. I've been strung along for almost a year now with monthly service charges just to get Bench's non-existent tax department to complete my 2024 taxes, which they still have not completed (it's now Feb 2026) it took them until August of 2025 to complete the 2023 taxes. No phone calls, multiple times they have charged me without notice for full-years worth of services despite denying service.

We’ve been working with Bench for several years now, and the experience has been consistently excellent. The team is professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive. What stands out most is their proactive approach. They don’t just record transactions; they provide thoughtful guidance, flag potential issues, and offer clear, practical advice.

Bench has also been extremely dependable when it comes to deadlines. Whether it’s monthly bookkeeping, year-end preparation, or coordination with our CPA, they consistently honor their commitments and keep everything moving forward smoothly.

Another aspect we truly value is that the support never feels generic. It genuinely feels like they’ve taken the time to understand how we operate, and that understanding comes through in every interaction (a special shoutout to Jane and the team behind the scenes, who have been especially attentive and supportive throughout.)

I've been with Bench for 3 years and in the past, I had concerns with the lack of proactiveness. However, things have definitely turned around. I've had a much better experience this year and look forward to continue working with Bench for stress-free bookkeeping.
