Absolutely appalling. Customer service was disgusting.the way the staff spoke to my mom, they treated my mom like she was a begger. Never again. Telling my mom ppl will still buy from them regardless of their poorly standards.

They have only responded once on Instagram with no results. ESTABLISHMENT NOT RECOMMENDED, WITH MANY SHADES OF POSSIBLE SCAM. DO NOT BUY THERE.

Ordered my dress in store and paid in FULL, was told my dress would be ready to collect in 2 weeks. After the date it was supposed to be ready no one called telling me to collect so I rang the store repeatedly and no one had a clue or any idea what was going on with my dress. Got a text the day before I was going to the store and was told my dress had been LOST in transit. Went to the store and the worker who was meant to be helping us walked away and hid at the back of the store. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

One staff member accused me of stealing when she knew damn well that it was not my fault. The cashier handed me the wrong bag and when I left they were frantically looking for me. The abaya was a low quality and the colour was not even nice. The size was too big as-well so it made no sense to why I would steal such an ugly abaya. The other worker was understanding but the lady with the crooked eyeliner was so rude. It's ironic really because that very same day I bought around £100 worth of product. We had just come back from a 7 hour drive and we were exhausted and that lady treating me as if I was a thief really triggered me. She started yelling at me saying to come in store and return it even though she knew I did not live locally and when we realised we were on the motorway. She said that we can't be trusted to post the items because we could potentially be thieves. I'm the one who called to let them know about the bag yet she was screaming at me like she called me. To conclude, please give her staff training as she is clearly lacking in her customer service skills. Even better, fire her!

Nikaah dress promised a new one. Given the one on the rack and altered by their rubbish tailor !!! Never asked at any point if we would accept the sample piece. Full money taken £600 !!! Dress cannot be worn. Told to take and tailor refused to do anymore work on it.

Customer service is appalling
Nice abayas i must say but the customer service is appalling, I bought 3 abayas as a first time customer and it totalled over £100, 2 came with the hijab and 1 did not, I’d come back for an exchange just 2 days later and the lady recalled the purchase i’d made with her, yet refused to allow me an exchange as she supposedly suggested I had taken the hijab… I tried to explain it did not come with a hijab and she was not willing to corporate and allow me to exchange unless I pick an abaya in similar colour so that they can take the hijab?! I think it’s extremely unprofessional and unfair that they assumed I had the matching hijab and just didn’t want to return it, it’s their responsibility to ensure all hijabs are packed with abayas rather than blame their new customers for not having one. Very disappointed in the service I received :/ Would have been a regular customer if they had been understanding of the situation.

Was a faulty item could not wear garment for eid…. Refused to give refund when the garment did not meet satisfactory standards… will not be shopping here ever again!!! Rude owner & poor customer service
I have shopped at Ben Harad a few times and I have to say the staff that are at the hijab and abaya area are pleasant, however the owner (her name is Maryam, described as a short middle aged Arab woman with a beauty mark on her face) is very rude. She has appalling customer service skills, does not have the right attitude and ignores you while she is processing the transaction at the till. A smile would suffice, a small conversation would suffice, but instead it’s just ‘cash or card?’in the most rude tone whilst not giving any eye contact towards you. This has happened on several occasions and other customers have reported the same experience if not worse on trust pilot and directly onto the google reviews. I have come in with a family member a few times and she feels very uncomfortable when wanting to pay for her items at the till because the vibe and aura of the owner is not a very good one. I genuinely feel put off from shopping there and i really need her customer service to change and for her to see these reviews and do something about it. Because what will happen is her sales will go down dramatically and her business will suffer and there may be so many mishaps and unfortunate things occurring if she does not feel a slight amount of remorse and accountability for her actions and how she makes her customers feel. If she genuinely does not care then may Allah deal with her.

The owner of the store has a very nasty attitude and no costumer service at all. I rented a wedding dress for £500 and paid £500 deposit on top of the rent and after the wedding the dress was given back clean, the owner of the store firstly said £130 is missing from the deposit we gave for the dress and also took another £100 for cleaning, the owner of Ben harad store has no manners and respect to her costumers and only cares about the money.

Wish I could give this place a zero minus star for what they do to people... Never going back to this place again. I liked a dress kaftan but the inner garment was tight, I requested the lady (which I think is shop owner) to replace or leave inner garment and if I could only but the kaftan, initially she agreed to give me a discount from £150 to £130 because inner garment was worth £20... I came back after few days to get the same kaftan dress because I couldn't decide at that time.... I would say this lady made me so angry, firstly she didn't admit that she gave me a discount of £20, secondly she can't keep her word... I reminded her everything, but she didn't give me that dress just because of £10, Kaftaan was originally £150 with inner garment. So disappointed with what she did and didn't cooperate at all.... Never going back to Ben Harad... poor service, rude staff, no manners at all... please don't go to this place and save your money

No star company. They are not transparent in their dealings with customers and offer services they are unable to provide. I went back to this shop repeatedly for goods I paid for and it was neither ready nor any valid reasons for this failure given. Eventually I was offered a delivery service which they again backtracked from with no explanation or apologies given. A very unreliable, unresponsive and ill mannered service I have ever received particularly during Ramadan.You should not trust the words or promises of this shop.

The most unprofessional company I have ever come across! Twice I’ve ordered a thobe from this place and both times I got sent the wrong size! I’ve tried calling customer service on numerous occasions and get told that I’ll receive a call back from them, it has been over 3 months and I’m still waiting for that call. If you don’t want to waste your money stay away from this place. I live in Leicester with a newborn baby so I can’t even go to the store at the moment but I’ve learnt my lesson and will NEVER be ordering from this place again!!!
