I would have preferred to know beforehand that the leg of lamb would be frozen.
That aside the to side that arrived I shared with my son & daughter for their Christmas& I can only assume that it's good quality as I've not had too many bad experiences with Bennetts.

Just ordered pork steaks lamb steaks and rib eye steaks all meat was a very poor quality very tough difficult to eat this is the second time I have bought from this company first time very good but now standards have dropped Will not order again or recommend

Ordered £140 worth of meat.
The chicken was rotten and I mean rotten.
The smell nearly had me being sick in my kitchen. The rest of The order was beef and luckily survived The transit.
The real joke is the customer service. Emailed my issue straight away no reply
Messaged on Facebook The next day to no reply. So rang The butchers shop in Morley on the Monday explained my issue, a lady advised Phil was out (you know the happy now then how are you guy)but would call me tomorrow. I rang again on the Tuesday afternoon as again no contact made from them. Then I get Mr fake happy Phil ring me back. 0 customer service didn't even speak when I answered The phone, had a moody snappy childish attitude as though I was in the wrong for (in his words moaning about receiving £30 of rotten chicken breast).
Not one bit concerned at all that he is shipping rotten meat all around the country.
And The potential damage he could do to people if they ate it.
Absolutely disgraceful.
Not my first order with them but will definitely be my last.
He did refund me but that really was the least of my concerns tbh.
I even offered to send it back to him at my cost so he could smell for himself (I sealed them in bags and froze them immediately after opening)
Wasn't interested.
It's shocking really, should be banned from sending food anywhere because it's clearly not being shipped in a suitable way.

The one in Morley I’ll never go in to again after today the girl with pony tale very rude also before the female staff were all swearing as I walked in using the ? Word absolutely rude staff and very over priced used to be a good butchers when the other guy ran it not no more meat stinks too and it’s off dnt last long

A previously excellent company that I have recommended to numerous friends & family, but sadly no longer !! I received an order on 12 Sept with the vast majority of items missing, despite the payment being taken on 31 Aug. Two weeks later and despite sending numerous emails, online messages and voice messages - nobody has had the decency to reply or even acknowledge any of the emails/messages.

Ordered arrived unannounced dumped in warm taxi office by Bennetts delivery service only notified by taxi office about parcel as customers complained about stench from box while waiting for cab delivery instructions given which Bennet's & delivery service ignored eventually received phone from Bennet's very polite lady explained had lots of problems with delivery firm but still no refund of meat due .

My order arrived on time & well packaged, unfortunately I had some items missing couldn’t get a reply via email so called them directly and it was sorted out promptly, the missing items were received 4 days later. I’ve ordered several times the meat is very tasty.
