Horrible at delivery and customer service. Don't believe the 6-8 days delivery. They will lure you with discounts. Unless you're okay to deal with stress of waiting when they'll turn up to deliver or answer your message, go ahead and buy.

I ordered a Vera grey wool rug,it arrived in around a week in perfect condition,after ordering I visited the trustpilot site and there were a fair few bad reviews so I tried to cancel my order but was unable to,I'm so glad I didn't the rug arrived yes folded in a box but it was in perfect condition the quality is great,and I have just ordered another one,thanks benuta,great product
Bad packaging, stained rug…
Rug arrived after days in a very weakly constructed cardboard box, that looked like it had been reused and loosely stuck together with tape. Gaping holes in sides and not secure. The rug inside was not in any protective packaging, was badly folded with dark staining and footprints on it. Not heard anything back from customer service yet.

I would avoid buying from this company if I were you. I ordered an indoor doormat which did not turn up. On ordering I received an email which said that an invoice was attached, but it wasn't... Eventually an email in German arrived saying DHL had tried twice to deliver it and then sent it back. I received no notification of these delivery attempts, prior to them being made, nor that they had failed. I now find that they charge a £20 return fee - the item cost about £18.95.
Really good communication from CS
I had a slight problem with how the order was packaged and I was quite angry because runner had creases, but CS replied promptly and courteously to my rants and offered free return if their advice did not work. The rug is actually very nice and I think it will settle. They were really patient with me and very polite.

I read some not good reviews after I ordered a rug....this made me really nervous about my order.
But... i did contact Benuta to ask when I could hope to receive my rug and they immediately replied with a tracking number and 2 weeks after my order it arrived. Gorgeous rich red wool rug and super value for money. It was an excellent buy and I had no problems whatsoever.... I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Ordered my rug, weeks later still no update when I went to track on the tracking website. Had to email Benuta twice to get told it’s been lost in transit. I was sceptical ordering from these after the reading the reviews but thought I’d give it a go and now I’m disappointed with no rug. Do not order from this company.

Same experience as recent reviews - have not received a rug in a month and now has been marked as delivered but back to the shipping hub in Germany despite being in the UK and has definitely not been sent to me at 2 in the morning. Avoid
3 weeks to send out incorrect rug, now they’re not responding.
The website doesn’t make it clear when ordering that it’ll be coming from Germany. Shown a 6-8 delivery timeframe when placing the order yet it took three weeks to arrive. When it did finally show up it was a completely different rug to the one I ordered, the rug I did order is now out of stock too so a replacement won’t even be possible.
Going by other reviews made by people who’ve had a similar experience, i’ll now be having to deal with the most awkward return process. I’ve contacted the company but doesn’t seem like they’re in a hurry to reply and resolve the issue. Will probably just get my refund through the bank.
Wish I had checked trustpilot before ordering, please avoid this company.
UPDATE: I sent the rug back on the 18/02 and it’s just been redelivered back to me with absolutely no explanation, almost an entire month later, on the 10/03… Almost two months since I initially placed my order and i’m still nowhere near getting it refunded or even out of my possession, I have now started a dispute with my bank.
To reiterate, PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY.

I was worried about the bad reviews on this but I ordered some samples anyway. Over two weeks later and they still have not dispatched the samples to me. Safe to say I won’t be using them. I’m glad my first order wasn’t a rug. Now I need to somehow try to get a refund.

Delayed in dispatching my order for more than 2 weeks, my order is in germany for more than 10 days and no customer service reply, the export scan and clearing customs is not conpleted and know nothing about my order , contacted them so many times no reply and ups with useless conversations
I would report my bank as i think it is aspam, athird party should be involved because of this reluctance and very bad attitude
Getting no response from Benuta!
Came on here when I got no response from Benuta after using their contact form to see where my rug is (I ordered on 13th January and have still had no dispatch date information). Pretty annoyed to see other reviewers on here placed their order after me but have received their items. Not sure when/if I’ll even get the rug I’ve paid £124 for now!!
Dreadful delivery time and no communication
I ordered a rug on the 17th January and to date, it hasn't arrived! No updates on the order from Benuta, just a random text with UPS delivery tracking information, which constantly changes the delivery date. My 'parcel' has been 'on its way' since 25th January. It is again expected tomorrow but I don't hold my breath... if it arrives tomorrow I'll amend my score according, but in this day and age, deliveries/shipment communication should be a lot, lot better...

Benuta have made it very difficult for me to return a rug I purchased recently. I have not had any help in returning this rug to Germany and did exactly what an
email with pdf's advised me to do. Today, I took the return package to the post office with the appropriate
labels attached outside the package as instructed.
After arriving home I find another email with 2 more pdf's advising I need to put these inside the package otherwise I will not have my money refunded. This is the worst returns experience of my life. I have done everything as per instructiosn yesterday and today they send different ones when it is too late. This purchase with a company that says Benuta Uk is not in the UK it is in Germany with a huge amount of obstacles designed not to refund a returned rug.
Absolutely shocking service from start…
Absolutely shocking service from start to finish. Ordered a cream 2m x 3m rug. Firstly got the billing and delivery address mixed up. Then the rug arrived 10 days after it was supposed to. On arrival the rug came in a cardboard box, folded up with zero plastic wrapping for protection, so it was absolutely no surprise that the rug was stained, dirty, dusty and honestly looked used.
When I raised the issue I was offered a 25% refund, which was laughable. After processing a return the instruction told me to take the rug to the post office?! The box is half the size of a bed! They also don’t tell you you have to attach all the paperwork for a border crossing to return back to Europe. Just don’t waste your time with them. Go to ruggable or rugvista.
