Love it

Quick delivery amazing water love it, would never use anything else, the water is perfect no electricity needed to filter the water so happy I now have the proper Berkey Filters they last so long, nothing else out there like it thank you for my order very happy customer

Hit a brick wall before even purchasing!

After many recommendations from friends I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase a Royal Berkey Water Filter. I was so excited to order the filter online only to find that the stand for the filter I wanted to purchase was "sold out". I contacted customer services on 1st July, they came back to me to say that they would have stock in 1-2 months. I explained that I didn't want to buy the water filter until I was able to purchase the stand as I would be unable to use the filter without it. I waited........no news! On 8th September I then emailed customer services again as the website was still stating "sold out". I received another response.....there has been a delay and stock is arriving in 1-2 months!!! So here I am on 3rd November and still there is no stock available. This is so disappointing.....why is it so hard to purchase a stand!!! Maybe it's time to look at another supplier :-(

Speedy Service

I was having a problem after testing the filters and so contacted Berkey via email. It was replied to quickly. There was still a problem so a very detailed instructions came back even quicker and by following step by step the instructions it was found I was over tightening the wing nuts.
Problem sorted very quickly. Thanks Berkey

Black Berkey® Filters & Fluoride Filters

I've been using Black Berkey® Filter set for many years now and it's been absolutely amazing how it changed the water quality. 
I live in Berkshire, UK, and the tap water is absolutely disgusting here.
I purchased Fluoride Filters as well. The water taste very pure. The only concern I have - how healthy is for those fluoride filters to be submerged in the water all the time?
Are there any testing done, to see that chemicals from fluoride filters are not leaking back into the water?

We have used Berkey Water Filters for 10 years!

We have used Berkey Water Filters for 10 years. We thought we'd treat ourselves to a new kit (Berkey Light).
It came the next day - brilliant. Unfortunately, the black filters were faulty, but they were changed without a fuss, and on the strength of my word, and worked fine from the start, and continue to do so. Good customer service should be applauded:) MK

I’ve had a Berkey water filter for a…

I wrote a bad review but have since been contacted by Berkey and sent a red dye test. I’ve since tested the water again and the filter seems to be working properly.
I think they are great filters and have always given me clean water.
That was the reason for changing my review

The reason they are not listed on our website is that we have limited stock, which we reserve to assist customers who may encounter issues with their existing filters and require replacements.

Terrible experience at first!

I’m that angry I’ll post my email after not being able to contact them via telephone.

Good afternoon,

I have just received my Berkey-water filter from yourselves after being informed twice that it was delayed from being delivered, firstly it was delivered WITHOUT the fluoride filters I’ve payed for, secondly it was unpackaged and the box bashed in and damaged (which also looks like it’s been previously returned by someone else) after having spent £510 (a very substantial amount for myself) this is absolutely unacceptable, after being recommended by my brother I expected a far far more professional experience for the amount of money I have spent with you, after doing my due diligence and comparisons with other similar company’s decided to go with Berkey-water filters even tho you were one of the more expensive choices, I’m now absolutely regretting that decision, I would like this sorted out ASAP as I now have a clear second hand water filter minus the expensive fluoride filters I have fully payed for, I have also tried numerous times to get in touch via telephone.

“Update!” Pacha from Berkey water filters has been in contact about my situation and after 4/5 days from getting in touch has sorted it out with good communications and understanding, thanks Pacha. CJ

Good filter

An udpate 30 July: customer service team were swift in responding to the problem of delivery. And I eventually found the parcel! The filter arrived in a couple of days and the installation was easy.

29 July : The filter never arrived. And their phone doesn't work. It is a very expensive filter , I would think they need to put proper measures to ensure it arrives securely to customers !
I hope they respond by email. I ll update this when they do.

Myself and my family are very careful…

Myself and my family are very careful about what we eat and drink. Take it from me, Berkey filters are the best in the world. You must prime them properly when you receive them, this can be found on YouTube. I have used all different brands going from Osmio to Britta and these after testing are the best quality and value for money. You must make sure you buy genuine Berkey filters, lots of knock offs on ebay and Amazon etc.

Happy Customer

Hello,
I’m very happy to have my Berkey today. It’s definitely an authentic Berkey. It came quickly within 2 business days and in perfect condition. I was honestly terrified of getting scammed because of all of the scammer Berkey websites out there and the awful reviews for this site on Trust Pilot. I even went as far as emailing the official US website to make sure that they were a ligament vendor of Berkey. They confirmed that they are.
Anyway, I just got my Royal Berkey today, it’s beautiful and the water tastes great. Most importantly, my baby is getting good clean water since the tap water was causing him to have non stop diarrhoea. We live in an area with very hard water and the high levels of calcium and magnesium may have been causing his issues. The Berkey is expensive but I did the math and it’s equivalent to buying 5 months worth of bottled Evian water so between the money saved and peace of mind it will more than pay for its self. Thank you!

DISGRACEFUL... AFTER 10 YEARS CUSTOM!

I've been a customer for over 10 years, and I loved My Big Berkey.

I decided to upgrade to the 6 filter one (The Imperial... I think?), and the fluoride filters.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!

My water had a strange smell, and horrible after taste (NOT like before at all), and after being messed about with returning arrangements for weeks... I finally get told (By Pacha) that it is effectively "MY FAULT" due to Me installing the filters incorrectly (even though I installed My original "Big Bekey"... and possess the intelligence level, to follow instructions correctly)... and now I'm being messed about; waiting for My refund (@ £1200:00).

I am severely disabled, and don't have an adequate supply of drinking water; until My refund is available, so I can purchase a new Berkey.

I'm really NOT IMPRESSED... and feel completely disrespected!

I mentioned no form of loyalty compensation... and I got offered a p0xy jug!!!!

Berkey Water Filters DOES NOT REMOVE LIMESCALE

Paid just under £500 for Berkey Water Filter UK and got in touch due to the chalky colour of filtered water and limescale residue in our kettle (need to descale 1 x week. The whole point was to have a filter that gave us clean water and less descaling of the kettle. Their reply is the same answer from their website. So - no help really. We were better off with the Brits water filters.

Is this company in trouble

Is this company in trouble? Took delivery of my Berkey water filter to find it had a nasty dent. Returned it, as Berkey said they would replace it.( Hadn’t realised how lucky I was to get them on the phone). This was over a week ago, and have still not received a replacement. Cannot get anyone on the phone, it is always an answer phone or doesn’t connect. Have tried emailing them and have had no response. What a terrible attitude and bad service for an expensive item.
As a result of this review received an update from Berkey to say a replacement had been sent out. Have just opened it to find it is just a metal tube with no insides. WHAT A JOKE. Of course they are not contactable by phone.

I recently ordered a Berkey

I recently ordered a Berkey, cost me an arm and a leg. I have primed that filters and even done the red dye test, yet my water still does not come out clear. I have tried to call UK customer service and the phone rings and then disconnects. This is not the type of customer service I'd expect when purchasing such an expensive product.
