The process made easy

I was a little hesitant to purchase from Best Tile not having visited there UK store in Bexhill on the Sea. However with a very impressive website and short delivery times as most tiles are in stock available to ship I took a chance. Having ordered tiles online before with a bad experience I have to say Best Tile made the process from start to finish so simple and cost efficient. I ordered there beautiful cement tiles over the weekend and had them delivered 4 days later and laid within the week!.. I’m hoping to modernize my kitchen over the next few weeks and have ordered samples from Best Tile having been so impressed with there service. I would highly recommend Best Tile and it’s team of professionals.

You can’t do better than Mark and his…

You can’t do better than Mark and his staff at Best Tile. Great choice, value and expertise. Most importantly they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable in guiding you to achieving the right choice of flooring for your home.

never again

We bought tiles for our downstairs toilet which we love. The delivery company delivered them fantastically, boxes in mint condition, no scratch, safely arrived on pallet, all good. However, the tiles were so poorly packaged they were 'rubbing' and moving against each other inside the boxes a lot of them had scuffs and chips at the edges. I took pictures immediately after unpacking and noticing this, contacted the delivery company and opened a case with them confirming it was not packaging that showed any damage but the content. They (exactly as I thought) advised as well that the error would be with the tile company (best tile). I tried to call them right away but could not get through and it took me some to finally reach them (between 1-2pm on a Thursday afternoon). I was told to send them the photos and this is the reply I received:
"These chips of the back of the tile are normally there and when installed they will not be seen, also it is normal to get a small percentage with slight chips to the surface this should be factored in when ordering please see “variations and finishes “ in our terms and conditions that you agreed to when purchasing".
I have ordered with lots of other tile companies and they do not see a small percentage of damage to tiles as normal.
The tiles were installed in a way that 'only' shows a few corners in hopefully not so obvious places chipped but that was thanks to us sitting down and sorting through the tiles and our tiler putting in a lot of effort in where exactly which tile was used.
We absolutely love the tile and would have ordered them again for our way bigger upstairs bathroom but unfortunately we could not find this tile anywhere else in Europe (only in Texas, US) and I did not want to go through the pain with Best Tile again considering we pay for the delivery that is the expected service but a tile company that accepts that a percentage of delivered tiles always comes with damage to it (instead of simply packaging it better).

I am sorry that you are disapointed with our product but we do have information on our website explaining the characteristics of cement tiles. Cement tiles are a hand made product and are very delicate before they are installed it is impossible to deliver them without any imperfections, we ask customers to allow a percentage when ordering to allow for this. Chips on the back of the tile are normal, this is similar to when you buy other products such as bricks. Would you complain to the builders merchant if there was a chip out if a brick that would not be seen when in the wall ?

Shocking Lack of Communication & order not recieved

I placed my order on 1st November 2018, I received an order confirmation and the money was taken from my account.

I received no dispatch notification and my order has not arrived.

I have emailed them twice and had no response.

I rang on Thursday last week (8th Nov) and the person I spoke to said my order would be dispatched that day and I would get the dispatch notification with tracking. I have still not received anything.

I have tried to ring again, but the number is now permanently engaged.
