Overall great experience

It was an overall great experience. Sofia always kept me updated in a timely fashion even when the snow storm came and the shipment got pushed back. She made sure I knew what was happening and what to expect. So ten out of ten experience.

So far so good

So far, it has been a fantastic experience. Sofia Bloom captain in touch with me through the delay due to snow and ice. I have not installed it yet, but I don’t foresee that being a problem. Would definitely recommend using them.

BEST PEOLPLE AND AUTO PARTS…

My experience with BEST USED AUTO PARTS was so GREAT because from start to finish the personnel were very professional, courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, and helpful. The company's name fits the company's employees' character, though it's named BUAP because of the quality of their parts is what I believe; I can't speak on the quality of my engine just yet because it just delivered, but I CERTAINLY WILL. HOWEVER, I feel confident that unless it was damaged during transport that it will be GREAT as well as Suzzane and Frank. Along with it being named because of the parts they sell they are the BEST PEOPLE!! the company should be named BEST AUTO PARTS AND PEOLPLE! Frank called me to follow up on my process, and to be sure that I was being supported along the way. Suzzane followed up with me every day to make sure that I didn't have any questions and if so, she was MORE the willing to make sure that all of my needs were meet. Suzzane tracked my shipment until it was delivered as scheduled. It was ABSOLUTELY A GREAT HELP to me as my job can get demanding sometimes, and I couldn't keep track of it like I would have liked. Suzzane was the one that knew the engine that I purchased from was delivered, she called to inform me. They treat you like family, and they have me as a customer/business family member for LIFE!

From ordering to customer service…

From ordering to customer service everything was great. Sofia was there to answer any shipping questions quickly and professionally. We are happy with our experience so far. Our motor was delivered to our shop yesterday so hopefully installation goes just as well!

Ordered a motor for my 2001 Audi a4

Ordered a motor for my 2001 Audi a4, upon receiving the motor I noticed almost every single piece of plastic/rubber was broken or cracked. It looked like they hacked the motor out with a saw, threw it on the ground(the oil filter was also smashed) and putting it on a pallet was just an afterthought. I paid for the most premium lowest mile option with full history which I never received. So I called the company and was told “the mechanics probably didn’t want me to use those parts” and for the history, they seemed confused on that part and offered to “send a picture of the odometer of the vehicle the motor was pulled from” with no proof it’s the actual car it came from. Would not do business again.

Update: yes of course I would expect to replace such parts, but you would think some kind of care would be taken in removing the motor after paying a premium price for a lower mileage option, assuming it’s in better condition overall. As previously stated I received absolutely no documentation. Nothing in my email and nothing with the motor itself, that was the main reason I even reached out to your customer service reps who should absolutely be retrained. I’m still waiting on this “picture of the odometer” that your rep promised me. This is absolutely ridiculous and I would just like the history of the motor I purchased and was promised.

As clearly communicated at the time of purchase, bolt-on components and high wear-and-tear items (including plastic and rubber parts, sensors, hoses, filters, etc.) are not covered under warranty and are expected to be replaced or swapped from the original engine during installation. This is standard practice in the used engine industry and was disclosed prior to sale.

That said, we want to be clear that any defects or damage to the engine long block or major internal components are fully covered by us, and we take full responsibility in such cases. No such issues were reported with the long block itself.

Regarding documentation and mileage, all available paperwork and supporting information were provided via email and included with the shipment for your reference. We strive to be transparent and provide all documentation received from our suppliers.

We stand behind our products and our warranty terms and are always willing to assist within the scope of the coverage outlined at the time of purchase. We regret that this experience did not meet expectations but remain committed to fair and honest business practices.

Great experience!

I was going through a lot of trouble trying to find a new motor for my car. I found this place by accident and I’m glad it happened that way. Started receiving help in chat and immediately was interested in a motor they had for my car. Motor had low miles and got a discount as well from the special they had running at the time. I got the motor very fast and I had excellent customer service from Suzzane and Sofia every step of the way. I had help and updates from the second I hit buy all the way to the motor arrived at my mechanics shop! Looking forward to getting to drive my car again! Thanks to everybody at Best Use Auto Parts.

I got a call this morning from them…

I got a call this morning from them told him I already got a transmission and didn’t need their services. After I hung up he called back 22 times harassing me over not needing a transmission. We are dealing with a death in the family and I told him that but he just kept calling. This is a rotten way to run a business,And I will never do Business with them again. Neither should anyone else!

Best used sold me a bad transmission

Best used sold me a bad transmission. Tom Pace promised me he was going to pay for the mechanic shop to remove the bad trannny. In a NUT shell my automobile has been sitting at Cobb automotive for past 5 months.

He does not keep his word and this has placed me in the worst financial nightmare. I had to pay 2200 to the repair shop to install a bad transmission.

I have text messages from Tom Pace stating that his word is bond and he would not leave me high and dry. Well See for yourself and call Cobb Automotive In Oxford Alabama at 256 835 7505 and ask them how long a 2014 Infinity QX60 have been there.

Their next step is to place a lien on my SUV. All of this thanks to me Trusting Best Use Auto Parts and Tom Pace.

Best used auto parts response is false. I have voice recordings..emails..text messages from Tom Pace stating that their company would accept financial responsibility for the mechanic shop fee to remove transmission.

Again Call Cobb Automotive in oxford alabama.. They are a reputable shop that has been operating for decades..and the best excuse this company can come up with is they Did Not properly install it.

Beware of BEST USED. There are reputable companies online that sales used transmissions outside of this company. Please do your research.

We respectfully disagree with the statements made and would like to clarify the facts for the record.

As outlined clearly at the time of purchase, we do not cover labor, installation, diagnostic, towing, or storage charges under any circumstances. This policy was disclosed prior to the sale.

Upon reviewing your order and records, the issue with the transmission was determined to be due to failure to perform mandatory CVT reprogramming, which is a required step for all CVT transmissions. Unfortunately, this procedure was not completed by your mechanic, which directly resulted in the transmission not functioning properly. Rather than completing the required reprogramming, a return was requested.

We agreed, in good faith, to accept the transmission back for a refund. However, the unit initially presented for return did not belong to us, which required additional back-and-forth communication with both you and the repair facility to locate and retrieve the correct transmission that we originally supplied.

Despite this complication, we arranged pickup at our expense, recovered the correct unit, and issued a full refund once the proper transmission was returned.

We have acted in accordance with our written policies and made every reasonable effort to resolve this matter fairly. While we regret the inconvenience caused by third-party installation errors, we fulfilled our obligations in full.
