Very poor experience wtih this company. Pls avoid.

After 4 weeks waiting for delivery I had a DOA drone in my hands. Everything connects OK (Goggles to a drone and radio to drone) but motors wont spin.

I can´t figure out what is wrong on my own and I get on the support ticket marathon that is handled two or three answers per week.
We went through firmware versions and basic setups and resets. I sent videos and screen captures to show the situation.

After tossing around my case for a month or so support suggests that the radio must be faulty and sends me a replacement. I had provided all necessary data since creation of the ticket and the fact that everything connects and even that the drone reacts to throttle but motors wont run.
[And btw you can test the radio and drone from the configurator to the certain extent.]
After four weeks the replacement radio arrives and it has reversed gimbals comparing to my original one. I had to disassemble the radio and change their place. No biggie, it´s easy but unthoughtful of them to send me a wrong orientation radio.
After assembly the status of drone remains the same. I still had dead drone on my hands and the original fault still unresolved.

At this point after three months(!!) of support ticket tennis and one replaced radio later they state:

"Inspections has been done by our technical support team, and we think that FC needs to be replaced. We are sorry to inform you that the current product has been out of our 30-days warranty after confirming your order status."

That is literally the thing I SAID WHEN I CREATRED THE TICKET

So as I see it they agree on the faulty FC but wont replace it because the warranty is already ended. Warranty is 30 days and even that I suggested to replace the FC, they did not. But they sent me radio and now my warranty is ended even the case is open. From my point of view I have pointed a fault in my purchase and we are still trying to resolve it. It does not matter if the 30 day warranty period is over at the moment. THE CASE WAS OPENED BEFORE WARRANTY ENDED. But they have a nerve to provide me 10% discount on the new FC that I now have to buy.

Be very careful what you are getting into. I don´t think Cetus or Cetus Pro is suitable for beginner. Take into account that you might need support at the start of your drone journey.

Well this at least me proves me that the amount of 1 star ratings this company has correlates to the actual experience. BetaFPV has 80% of all the reviews with one star.
They have not even claimed their company account in Trustpilot. That´s a kind of a sign itself..

I would advise you to buy something else. Once again cheap did not turn out to be that cheap. 200 euros and five months. And this was Ready-to-fly kit.

So can´t say any positive thing about BetaFPV. This is chinese "quality" with poor or obsolete customer support.

Paid for a Drone, never got it

Paid for a Drone, never got it.
Customer support is horrible, after a long back and forward trying to find where the drone was i eventually asked for a refund.
But they are dragging the process and probably will never issue the refund.

beta fpv cetus pro

i bought a cetus pro and it arived on time and works perfectly and it is super sterdy i have crashed so many times and it stil works perfectly i would buy here again only the track and trace was not easy to understand but that is the only thing

Love the drone, not the betafpv beginner experience!

My recommendations, BUY FROM ANOTHER SUPPLIER until BetaFPV can figure out how to handle shipping properly.
Additionally, If you are already in the famed BetaFPV waiting pattern of endlessly checking that useless tracking number (was 30+ days for me), spend this time finding how-to-videos and reddit forms about your specific model. They'll likely be a lot more help then the included instructions, and maybe then you can save yourself the frustration of not being able to fly the thing for days after getting after waiting a month or more to receive it.

I have had my drone for a couple of months now and do love flying it regularly! I would even say that I think the equipment is a great value and wouldn't discourage anyone from getting the same for the hardware. But the setup and figuring out of the drone was not beginner friendly at all! I think that if the design of the Cetus series is to give beginners a good step into the hobby that BETAFPV has a lot of improvements to make.

First off they should better communicate that they are going to take over a month to deliver anything you order from them, and use shady "shipping partners" that provide useless tracking numbers that'll make you doubt you purchased from a legit supplier and wonder if you will ever see any product at all.
Second when you get the kit the instructions should really be geared towards a beginner and getting them flying in a simulator within an hour, and then able to connect to their drone within another hour. Like any adult, I have limited free time each day and once I did finally get the kit I wanted to get started right away. But, finding a simulator and getting the controller to work with it took me all the free time my first day trying. And then trying to get the controller to connect to my drone took the next 3 days worth of after work free time. And in the end it was random reddit forms that finally helped, not the included instructions manual that I had to read cover to cover multiple times.

This company has good quality products!

Good day everyone!

At first I had my doubts about BETAFPV, because it took a month to get my order, but today I finally received my awesome Meteor 75 Pro DJI 04.

I just left a few photos in this review.

The package came in one piece and I was surprised about the high quality of the drone and its spare parts.👌
So I removed my previous bad review which is the least I could do. Ok…I had to wait more than a month which was absolutely annoying, but in the end it’s totally worth it.😊

This company is legit…However…
The 2 things they should be working on is their customer service and their response time.
I’m sure they will get much better reviews then.

For now I’m looking forward to flying this awesome little drone.😊🥳👏

If everything turns out how I think it will … then I will also order the Pavo Drone.👏🥳

20+ days since I ordered

20+ days since I ordered. Reached out twice to customer support. Responded quickly each time with zero information. Sent me the tracking number to show me that the item has not been received by USPS, then (after 20+ days passed) told me that it will be another 13-30 days before it will actually ship.

Don't buy from BetaFPV

Don't buy from BetaFPV. Ordered some items January 17. Still haven't received items nor gotten any reply after sending 3 emails between January 17-February 5.

No email updates. No response to emails or FB Messenger. No delivery updates. Terrible customer service since it is completely nonexistent. This will be my first and last order from them

How to Get a Refund from This Seller

I waited over two and a half months for my order, and the seller claimed it was stuck in customs. When I asked for a refund, they pressured me to cancel my PayPal dispute, which is against PayPal policies.

If you’re in the same situation, don’t cancel your PayPal or credit card dispute. It’s the best way to ensure you get your money back if the seller doesn’t follow through. Avoid this seller to save yourself the hassle.

No drone after two months

It has been more than two months and the drone that my son ordered has not arrived. We have contacted the company multiple times via both phone and email, and they say the issue is with the delivery company, Evri. We have also contacted Evri multiple times, but to no avail. DO NOT order with this company, they are not responding or helping to find the parcel.

Bad after-sales service

Good morning,
I am writing a review about BETAFPV and their after-sales service. Less than a week ago, I received a Meteor 75 Pro 1S Walksnail drone, and the video transmission system has already failed. When I contacted their after-sales service, the solution they offered was to send the drone to China, but I would have to cover the shipping costs and potential customs fees when the drone returns after repair.
I am writing this review to warn future buyers about the risk of purchasing products outside the EU, knowing that afterwards, BETAFPV does not cover warranty costs. I have contacted them and hope to find a solution. I will keep you updated on the progress of my issue.

I bought a Smo 4k camera a couple of…

I bought a Smo 4k camera a couple of years ago and cannot get the Insta360 application to connect to it like many other people. I contacted customer support about this and got the reply "'I'm really sorry, but this app isn't compatible with the SMO 4k camera yet. So it's normal, please be patient while the app gets updated." It hasn't worked for years so how patient do they expect their customers to be ?? I've now got a camera that cost £220 that I can't use. Will never buy anything from this company again. AVOID AVOID AVOID...

This is how the BetaFpv business works

As so many others I ignored the realistic reviews here and ordered a Radio lite 3 controller. It took almost 3 weeks to get here. Left gimbal is not working properly, calibration won’t fix it.

BetaFpv deliberately sends the orders as slow as possible. They know they send faulty and broken products and send it sooo slowww that you are not even considering to send the crap back they send you.

I can confirm it is a scam, I just flushed 60 euros through the toilet. Don’t buy their crap.
