Scam company

Delayed writing this, but my review is the same as all the previous 1 star reviews. I had a successful charge back via my bank in 2024 for my order from this company. Over the months of problems I had, she didn't send items, missed out "free promotion items" from my order, sent incorrect items, sent wildly wrong sizes, wouldn't reply via email for long periods of time, deleted all my comments on instagram, wanted me to pay for returns... The whole lot. Terrible customer service and a waste of money. It was very easy to get help from the bank as she had already had multiple charge backs before me!!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Takes money, but won’t ship the goods. Doesn’t respond to emails or any messages on social media. Multiple attempts made to contact merchant with no reply or acknowledgement. I have had 3 occasions this has happen. 1st I received my goods in the wrong size. Tried to make contact to return. Got no reply. So gave up. 2nd time. I waited weeks for my goods. Did get a response to email which stated the items I ordered were pre sale so that’s why they were late. But there was no mention of this when ordering. 3rd time items ordered and now been nearly 2 months and not received them. Never buy from this company.

Disappointed - AVOID

Disappointed – Still No Refund After Returning Incorrect Items

I placed an order with BeThatGirl three months ago. While I appreciated delays can happen, the items took a long time to arrive and, unfortunately, were incorrect when they did. I requested a refund and returned the items via tracked delivery, which were confirmed as received by the company within a few days.

Despite this, I have not received a refund, and it has now been over two months. I’ve sent multiple emails and messages via social media with no response whatsoever. The lack of communication and refusal to process a refund for returned goods is unacceptable.

This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I’ve now had to consider escalating the matter to Trading Standards. I would urge others to be cautious when ordering from this company until they improve their customer service and refund processes.

No customer service

I have ordered a couple of times from this company, good quality items and I've recommended her on socials and to friends. Well, what a mistake that was and I will be updating them. An order was lost by the courier, fair enough. I had a response to my first email saying it would be investigated but after numerous follow up and messages through various channels (there's no other way to make contact), I have been ignored. No offer of an apology, refund or alternative. It shows that the owner doesn't think good customer service is important when she has your money! After reading other reviews just now, I'm not the only one who has been ignored and lost money. In this current climate where online shopping is so popular and the high amount of competition especially in active wear, people will go elsewhere. News of bad customer service travels much quicker than good.

Awful

Awful! Ordered a set as I wanted to support a small business and the items looked lovely online, items were delivered but did not fit.
I looked online at the returns which say that I have to pay postage to send something back, fine no problem. Got that sorted and tracked the delivery as the items are not cheap.
Items were sent back, delivered. I heard nothing.
Emailed them. Nothing.
Instagrammed. Nothing
TikTok. Nothing.
Emailed again. Nothing
I then had a vague back and forth email which she has taken her sweet time to reply to, says she wants to help get my refund, i sent her the tracking information and.....oh look no reply.

Chased almost every 2 weeks since November. Nothing.
Absolutely shocking. Doesn't exactly make me want to support another small business.

Getting trading standards involved

IF SHES STOLEN YOUR MONEY ME AHD SO MANY, PLEASE CONTACT TRADE STANDARDS AND GET THIS COMOANY CLOSED DOWN!! I supported this girl when she was small and now she has done to me like so many and to my friends, stolen my money and not provided me my items. This girl can not get away with this. So we need to get this company shut down or at least fine/warned so she doesn’t keep getting away with this. So please please contact trading standards and don’t let her get away with taking your money

STOLE MY MONEY!! IGNORED FOR 7 MONTHS!!

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I made an order for nearly £100 back in July 2024 and when the items arrived and had to send 2 out of 4 back, one pair of shorts had seems coming loose and started to become thread bare.

I packaged and posted the items, recorded delivery, paid out of my own pocket and proof of postage with tracking and sent an email with photo evidence of the faults with the item and I’ve been ignored for over 7 months!!

Posted on social media, commenting on their Instagram and sent multiple emails time and time again and still not been refunded.
Simply put THEY DO NOT CARE.
Small business or not customer service is integral.

Removed from all social media and will not be supporting them in any way.

THEY IGNORE YOU! SAVE YOUR MONEY

I ordered 3 items in September & only 2 items arrived. I contacted Lucy & she got back to me to say that my item was now out of stock but I could have a replacement that was in stock & a 10% refund or a full refund. Trying to support a small business I opted for a replacement item. Since then I’ve heard nothing I’ve emailed again sent a message in social media which has been ignored whilst she’s advertising free items with bundle orders! I’ve sent an email saying that I’d like a refund as it’s been 3 weeks since the issue & nothing. Please save your money

Won’t send out your items

Won’t send out your items, will ignore every dm, comments, message in question box’s, on broadcast channels and email will delete any negative comment. She has no accountability and shouldn’t even have a business

Order a no show. Ignores emails

Placed an order in March, took payment, no order was ever sent. It's a shame as I've placed many orders to Lucy's business with no problems at all and even had a few back & forth messages on Instagram. Unfortunately she has since been removing my polite Instagram comments and no longer replies to any emails. Initially she said she'd look into the matter but obviously had no intention of doing so. It's frustrating nothing can hold her accountable so the more people aware of this sham business the better.

One star is too much

One star is too much. Absolutely appalling, and from other reviews it isn’t a one off! Order placed 29th May, still no delivery - or even an update! Tried contacting numerous times. Happily take your money with no intention of fulfilling an order. Keep clear!! Need to be shut down.

This company is a joke.
1st order was from when they first set up. I ordered a sports bra - it was sent in the wrong colour and wrong size to what I ordered. I contacted them via the email on the confirmation email - no reply. I left messages on their Instagram page….ignored and deleted! I sent messages via Instagram - ignored - just received a generic auto reply thanking me for my email and they will get back to me and never did. In the end I thought “it’s an £18 top move on” and I have it to someone at work.
This year I thought that I would try them again as they had some great stuff. So I placed a large order that came to over £170. I waited and waited and waited months, no items after 9 weeks I messaged via Instagram, again just the generic reply. I sent an email and later that day I got a standard w-mail stating “exciting news - your order has been shipped” brilliant I thought….nope 4 weeks on and I still hadn’t received my order. So I again contacted them via email, Instagram messenger and posted on their Instagram posts (that were always deleted). Until finally 14 weeks after they had took my money I received a parcel from them. I looked forward to opening my order….until I saw that they had only sent me one item out of my entire order!!! I again tried to contact them in every way that I could. In the end I copied and pasted a message to every post on their Instagram….they responded via Instagram messenger asking for the email that I used and my order number. I replied instantly and got a further massage saying that they would get it sorted within 24 hours….a week later nothing. I tried again to contact them - ignored. So I copied and pasted again to all of their posts (they deleted every comment again) and they asked again for my email and order number. I told them that I had already given them this and asked to return the one item that I had received and just have a full refund for the entire order that I hadn’t received. The one item that I was sent was still in the packaging as I was so cross I didn’t want to wear this brand. I got a response saying that they didn’t accept returns!!! I informed them that Thai was not acceptable and that by taking my money and not sending the items that I had purchased was theft and possible fraud if they had no intention to send the items in the first place. I even sent them photos of the package that the order came in as it was that small there was no way that more than one item would fit and the cost of the postage wouldn’t have been enough for my big order anyway. They again ignored me so I had to contact the bank and initiate a charge back. I messaged via Instagram to let them know and guess what…I got an instant reply asking me not to do that as it cost them extra money!!
Anyway the bank actually refunded me the full amount of the order even for the item that I had received and have put a check marker onto their account. I believe it is like a suspicious activity marker from
What the bank said as there have been several chargebacks in the same circumstances.
The quality of the item that I did receive was the same as Shein, ok, nothing great. It is actually now at the charity shop as I already had much better quality items in my cupboard.
Aviod this company they are scammers and the items are cheap and nasty like the owner.

As some of the below, never received my order. Numerous emails and messages on instagram. Had one message apologising and saying they would rectify it but they never did. Told my bank I had been scammed and they gave me my money back. I leave comments on their Instagram posts and they get deleted. Shocking

Do not order

Think 1 star is polite. I love supporting small businesses but I ordered over 2 months ago - after 5 weeks 1 item arrived but the others were missing. I’ve messaged on instagram, emailed, commented on posts (she deletes them all) and even put things in her question boxes she posts and she’s completely ghosting me. I didn’t even want a refund was just politely asking for an update as I was really looking forward to my order. After 9 weeks I’ve now reached my limit and have seen many other comments from people being deleted in instagram and I’ve still heard nothing from her. So it’s a big old DO NOT ORDER from me ):

Beware

I can't believe I even have to give this company 1 star. I ordered a pair of leggings that were in stock weeks and weeks ago, no sign of them being dispatched so emailed a couple of times and got no responses. Then a month after I ordered I got a delivery notification but the wrong address was on it. I went onto be that girl website and tracked my order and yes I gave the correct address so the company inputted it wrong to the delivery company.
Hours spent trying to contact the right dept of EVRI who told me only the sender can change the address. That's a little hard when you're being ignored? Tik tok comments deleted and dms ignosed , Instagram comments deleted and dms ignored and one response given to my multiple emails.
Then to top it all off I got a customs charge even though her website clearly states in the FAQs that all customs for international costumers are paid.
And i STILL have no leggings- I've now paid for the leggings, paid 12 euro for shipping that was supposed to take 2 days and now another 13 on customs and have nothing to show
