Beware beware. The worst company imaginable, they make it more less impossible to withdraw your winnings with the hope you wil regamble your winnings during the 2 weeks it takes to withdraw your own money. Plus they have NO TEL NUMBER to contact them

Betway in my opinion is the worst bookmaker out there and I will provide a clear example why I think that.

The other day (1st June) I placed a bet on E-Sports CS:GO game Vitality - ENCE. The bet was only 2-way so you could basically bet that either team wins. However, the tournament format allowed draws as well and that is exactly what happened (15-15) although Betway did not offer the option to bet on a DRAW. Nonetheless, my best was lost instead of VOID/PUSH. Basically, anyone who bet on that game lost, regardless of what they bet. Is that fair considering that they did not offer the draw bet ??

Important to mention that the exact same situation happened to me on Bet365 (CS:GO game of NIP vs ENCE on 3rd June which also ended 15-15) and the bet was marked as PUSH and my stake was returned by Bet365. Now that is a fair bookmaker.

Back to Betway, I have only been using them for a week but I already have encountered some really dodgy voided bets situations. One day a bet I made was voided/cancelled before the event happened but then after the game finished and my team lost, the best was re-instated and my money lost. That is messed-up. I contacted their support for explanation and all I could get was that it was a "Plausible Error" for marking that event Void in the first place and when they realized the mistake they re-instated that sporting event. It makes you wonder if the people who won on that event actually received their winnings, or did the event stay VOIDED for them ?

Lastly, their joining bonus of 30£ in free bets is also considerably lower than what other sites are offering.

I think there are much better sites out there (365 being one of them) and I can only recommend that you stay away from Betway due to their unfair/dodgy practices in addition to difficulties withdrawing money which is experienced by almost everyone.

Have just been asked to give out personal and private information concerning where I work, the amount I earn and the name of the company all this with proof i.e payslips or salary statement. I was told that either I give up this VERY CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION or have my account CLOSED, no negotiation possible. BE WARNED BIG BROTHER IS COMING FOR YOU. this is illegal these people are BULLIES be warned and be very wary. And they pay for 5 star reviews hence the reason they have some. If not I wonder what score they would have. DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP IT IS ILLEGAL.

Made a few deposites had a small balance remaining tried to withdraw. Didnt let me. Locked account then few days later manage to log back in and funds gone. No history of transations or gaming or balance. Eventually got through to live chat and they said no info on your gaming. pleade email the support team. The support team email bounced back 3 times said not available use live chat . I have evidence of my deposits on pay pal thats all😮

WORST BETTING SITE
I placed 3 separate bets on one horse for the Gold Cup, which won.
The three bets were there after the race, but when I looked later, only one was registered as settled. The other 2 had completely DISAPPEARED, Can you believe that. AND THEY HAVE NO STATEMENT OF BETS FOR YOU TO CHECK WINNERS AND LOSERS..STAY AWAY STAY AWAY

No way near the experience I would have expected. The chat agents take ages to reply, no human approach whatsoever, feeling like you are speaking to AI or a robot. Decent site though

They really are an embarrassment to bookmakers. To actually call them bookmakers is tantamount to a breach of The Trade Descriptions Act.
I joined, won no more than a few tens of pounds. They blocked me from BOG and all promotions. I truly thought it was a wind up.
If I bet a tenner, it's a big bet. They restricted me to £4 per bet or less!
God help you if you actually win with them. I'd be worried. You have been warned. Send in the clowns? Don't bother they're here.

Probably the poorest well known bookmaker in the UK. For no good reason they stake restricted me to a max of £4.47 on any bet I try to place. Stick with William Hill/sky/paddy. Betway are no good.

Betway win boost makes it impossible not to be optimistic and to bet with every sporting weekend. Deposit options quick and simple.

Crappy casino slots, crappy experience. Received some sort of "we dont want to offer you anything " kind of email. Not customer friendly is it ?
Some dodgy practices i think gambling commission should take a look at when you withdraw your money to your debit card 5 times and its fine and then they send you an email that they dont offer withdrawing to debit card.

Beware now the reference numbers that start 118 and 119 at the moment it will be 120 next they are saying its not their reference numbers

I have it on 3 different withdrawals that they say its not theirs.

People im not an accountant but why would i pick these numbers and so in order by date??

They add up to 610 english pound's. On my account

Hello betway, The withdraw amount from my betway account is not credited to my bank account, but the betway transaction history says that it was paid. But the amount is not credited, please betway make it fine and pay my amount.

Been waiting since the 11th April for a withdrawal that was paid out on the 12th April.

CS not interested, constantly telling people to contact their bank, when Mastercard have confirmed its WorldPay (BetWay's Card processor that messed up).

Even asked me to prove that i hadnt received the money, agents show no empathy or to be honest any Customer Services Skills.

Betway have confirmed they havent done anything with the issue since the 18th April, instead waiting till after the Easter Holidays..

Go else where and dont use this joke of a gambling firm, they havent a clue about Customer Service

Same issue as for many others (I’ve found out reading in here). As long as you lose everything is fine, but if you start winning a couple of bets they limit your account and give you no explanation. They actually tell you to get in contact for further reasoning but then they actually give you no clarification. To me they have actually cancelled the 2 bets I finally managed to win. I attach detailed conversation (unfortunately cannot attach screenshots):

I’m here for explanations as it’s been advised by you by email.
Can you kindly explain to me why you voided, with no apparent reason whatsoever, two winning bets that I placed on the 04/02/19?
In order to take such action toward my account I believe I must have done something pretty wrong or dodgy, which I don’t think I did at all. So can you explain to me why such action has been taken?
I’m pretty curious to know your reasoning...

1) you decided to void two bets that I finally managed to win (after much losing) and put a restriction on my account.
2) you sent me an email to make me aware of this and asked me to contact you if I wanted any more info about the decision.
3) when I contact you, you just say that the explanation is not available to me or yourself customer service. You just say that the decision it’s not been taken lightly.
Is that correct so far or have I missed something?
Well, in real world wording, which is the one we all live in, that pretty much means that someone woke up in the morning and decided to void some winning bets and restrict some accounts.
You insinuate somehow that I’ve done something wrong. Well, I’m 110% sure I’ve done nothing wrong so it must be you to prove or tell me what that is, otherwise it just means you are making excuses not to pay out winning bets!
This is how it works in the real world and in the U.K.
Do you confirm what I just said or do you have anything to say to excuse yourselves?
