Take ages to answer the phone then connect you to a foreign call centre where the operators English is poor and asks you to repeat everything you say 5 times, Turning a 10 min call into a 45 min one 🤨

Do not recommend

I had to cancel insurance with Be wiser as my no claims discount proof from my previous insurer wasn't accepted by them. Funny enough, my new insurer accepted it straigh away with no issues!

I started an insurance policy

I started an insurance policy, for a friend who was working abroad so he could come home and ride his bike, the dates were wrong, rang to amend the date, but because I wasn’t the policy holder even when I paid on my bank card, they would not change the start date, there is no internet or phone where he is, so contact is very difficult, absolutely disgusting service, rang to complain and just told no but they did refund me after an enormous loss of time and trouble, insurance companies should have something in place to help situations like mine

I would not recommend it to anyone.

I would not recommend it to anyone.
They offer insurance at a good price and then two days later they increase the premium by almost 50%.
A contract cancelled within the "free" cancellation period costs £35.

Update:
Despite my cancellation request on Friday, my insurance is active today - Monday.
Office opens only at 9am. Very convenient company....
I will NOT RECOMMEND it to anyone!!!

I’m sorry you weren’t aware the administration fee would be retained if you cancelled within the cooling off period and understand how frustrating it must have been. The administration fee is outlined in our terms of business which is available to view prior to the policy being accepted, but I realise this doesn't make the situation any less frustrating for you.

I wanted to clarify that when applying for an insurance policy, it is standard practice for insurance companies to check the CUE database to access any claims history. CUE is a central database that holds information on all insurance claims and incident reports made by policyholders. If the information disclosed by yourself does not match what the database confirms, we ask for you to contact us to discuss this in more detail. When updating the information to match the CUE database, this can affect the premium you were originally quoted. We apologise if this was not made clear to you during the conversation you had with us.
