MAIN ISSUES: They spelt the name of the Vendors Solicitor wrong. As a result, the email address they were using to communicate with the sellers solicitors was non-existent. That problem went on for over eight weeks. It was the Estate Agent who asked for them to forward on an email who finally noticed their error. BGW then tried to put the blame on the Vendors Solicitor by saying the Vendors Solicitor did not have a bounce back service, so they didn’t know their emails were not reaching them. Finally, when it came to signing the Land Registry Form, at the end, I had to correct the error they had made in the contact details.
From start to finish it was not a good experience.
