Dave has recently made us two blanket boxes to double as kitchen storage and dining room seating. From the beginning he was very friendly and helpful, offering advice. We had searched in vain for something to suit our needs but couldn’t find anything ‘off the shelf’ and it was difficult to explain the concept to have a custom piece of furniture made. In seeking out bespoke furniture makers (who usually concentrate on kitchens and bedrooms) we came across Dave, who was local. On his website was something very similar to what we wanted. We visited his workshop and, as we were local, Dave visited our home. Although we were able to buy two ‘standard’ units from his range, he made numerous adaptations to customise these for our needs, including a recess for the skirting board and a carefully measured hole to accommodate a power socket on the wall behind, so we could still use it! The units were complete in about five weeks and the craftsmanship superb. Prices are very reasonable. We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Dave's customer service was excellent. His advice on the painting of the bench was much appreciated and the paint colour I gave him was matched spot on.

Dave made me a high quality, made to measure window seat with a cushion and made sure everything was exactly as I wanted it, it's beautifully made, couldn't be more pleased! Absolutely brilliant from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Delivered fully made on time with a smile! I would have no hesitation buying from DS Bespoke Furniture again.

We had a fantastic experience with David. He is very thoughtful and offered some really useful suggestions for our bench seats to help make them fit perfectly. The quality of the craftsmanship is extremely high, they created really beautiful, solid bench seats for us. We love our seats and definitely recommend!

Have had two products off this company both very good quality and good value. Good communication from company and delivered on time. We had a window seat and also stained timber cut to my specifications to build a shelving for unit. Thoroughly recommended

Went to buy a mattress and wardrobe from Happy home and ds furniture, the guys at both stores where super helpful, I got my wardrobe at Happy homes and mattress at ds furniture, Nathan was very helpful with getting my wardrobe ordered and Steve at ds furniture was super helpful in helping me pick out my mattress, both these guys went over and beyond so I highly recommend if u need furniture or other stuff for your house to give these guys a visit, u won't be disappointed, p.s way better than leekes store across the road by the way.

A first class example of craftsmanship and excellent service. We purchased a traditional monks bench with bespoke fittings and other details. A solid piece of furniture that looks fab in our hallway and is sure to last for decades. So much better than the mass-produced stuff. Dave was extremely helpful, too. Highly recommended.

I spent months searching for various options for a Monks chair type of unit to fit over our radiator before finding Dave at DS Bespoke Furniture. He designed the perfect custom solution to meet our needs and the craftsmanship is top rate. The whole experience has been brilliant; from the design, to the build, to picking the colours and even the delivery.

From first enquiry, DS Bespoke Furniture were very helpful and prompt to reply. The chest of drawers we ordered in a bespoke colour is beautifully made to a very high quality, and as such reasonably priced. I would definitely order furniture from the company again.

From start to finish Dave offered a bespoke service and we couldn’t have been more satisfied with our monks bench. Absolutely amazing and so easy to deal with regarding the size, he even made it fit to the house plans. Great communication and with another removal company it arrived without a scratch all the way to Orkney! Well done, totally recommend these guys.
