Bus route was not as comprehensive as other lines.
Buggest flaw was longer waiting time than other lines. Sorry i had not chosen other.
Staff were all helpful and welcoming.

The bus tours were very good. Buses ran frequently and covered a wide area. No problems at all.

Bus spends more time stopping at the funicular area than moving around. Takes 30-50 minutes for tour to start. Waste of time and money.

We got the 2day hop on hop off including river cruise - brilliant way to see all the city - loved the commentary- buses timing schedule meant plenty of buses - no long waits if we did get off to see a sight before another bus came along - would definitely use this company on another city break if they operated in that city

I take the Big Bus in Dubai and New York before. Why ist the code not guilty?

Initial experience with Big Bus Tours was in London. Was quite pleased with it ergo the choice for BBT Budapest. There are several other double decker sightseeing buses in Budapest but Big Bus seemed the least crowded and most organised. Routes were simple, app worked great. Only wish there were more buses running - as in we had to wait a bit longer for BBT buses to come, compared to others. Was great overall!

Bus tour was quite nice.
We had booked a tour that included return funicular passes. Unfortunately, the guy who gave us our tickets did not point out where exactly we would get our funicular passes. So we had to buy extra tickets.

I did not like the fact that part of the red route was blocked off during weekends but that it was not disclosed anywhere (not on the website and not on the map.) Because of this, I lost confidence in what they say were available (walking tour, night tour, boat tour, etc.) on the map. Also, it was a DAY TICKET, as opposed to a 24 hr ticket, which means that you'd better not start using it in the afternoon, or you will be using very little of the service. Bus frequency also seemed lower than competitor companies. Overall, it offers reasonable, but not great, value.

The tours were great. I purchased my ticket online. No where does it say that you have to go to one of the employees to get an actually printed ticket. We didn't need the printed ticket for the tours, the only reason we needed them was to get into the thermal baths. We wasted half a day getting to the thermal baths and then get told we have to go 45 minutes away to get a printed ticket. We paid for the package with the free thermal bath and never got to actually go because we wasted so much time going to and from the bath house. Very frustrating. I wish I could get my 20 dollars back for that portion of the ticket.

I didn't really feel I got enough of the history on the tour, there was a lot of music when there could have been discussion.

Convenience, excellent service, very good sightseeing!!
If you want to have a complete view of Budapest (and Vienna - specifically we bought the twin-pack for both cities) with a guide in your language you need to buy the hop-on hop-off ticket of Big Bus.!!
(Maybe only room for improvement is the frequency of the buses. For example the first day we used the buses we had to wait aprx 45' at the bus stop !?)
However I would definitely recommend it to my friends!!
