We bought the Deluxe Big Bus Tours in Chicago, and it was one of the best things we did on our journey through the States. The tour guides were very friendly and knew a lot about the history, pop culture and gossip of the city, we had an amazing time!

I loved the trip I went on & Jack, our tour guide was highly entertaining & knowledgable!!

I was slightly disappointed with the lack of information on the website as the schedule for the cold season was not up to date & therefore had me waiting outside in the bitterly cold weather (-14 Celsius) for an hour only to walk quite sometime to another stop where luckily I found a tour guide operator who in turn gave me an updated pamphlet with the correct times for the season! Please update your website!

When I finally got into a warm bus (2.5 hours after originally hoping to get on a bus), the experience very very memorable!

We had a great time on a very cold day in Chicago with Matthew on New Year's Eve! Can't wait to come again when it is warmer to explore more...

We had a great time on the Big Bus Tour of Chicago. All the guides were informative and helpful. When the bus ran late at the end of the day, I called to check on it where they verified traffic had caused some problems. When the bus arrived, the driver said dispatch had called him to make sure he looked for us. Very impressed. It was 14 degrees so we really appreciated them making sure we caught the last bus.

Tour itself was good; bus staff great. However, because of the company's cancellation of our original tour dates, we were not able to use both days of our two-day prepaid pass. I have contacted the company twice to discuss a refund, but to date, no one has been in touch.

Immediately after posting the review above, I was contacted by a Big Bus Tours representative, and the situation was resolved. I was granted a rebate for the day we missed and offered a ticket the next time I'm in Chicago. Thank you.

Our Tour was great and the tour guide was knowledgeable and made the tour fun. Big bus is a great way to see the city of Chicago and learn about its rich history. Can’t wait to go back this summer.

Was visiting Chicago for only 3 days won’t be back this year again, bought your tickets from Big Bus Tours and due to cold weather they closed all days of my visit , I emailed for a refund and got no response, and no money back !

The tour guide and staff were fantastic! “Bea” was the name of our tour guide and she was so interesting to listen to and had so much knowledge that we stayed in the bus for a second round!!! Then we even took a third round but it was a different guide, and she was great too!
The only reason I’m not giving five stars is that the upper ceiling windows that enclose the upper level were so scratched and dirty that we could not take photographs and that is unacceptable! These tours aren’t cheap and to not even be able to see out the windows properly was not good. I would look for a company with better kept busses next time.
I took this tour in London in the fall of 2017 but it was not yet cold enough to put the top cover on, so I don’t know how clean it would have been. From now on, I will check this issue before I book a tour.

The efficiency and very purpose of such an attraction is spot on, allowing to discover a city or at least the main locations of a city in a very interesting way. Guides and drivers were great, a cool mix between historical and funny facts about Chicago were explained and we appreciated every bit of it. Only downside being the fact that the upper level is not completely closed and heated, making the experience a little cold.

Had a great experience. Bought the two day pass and got our money’s worth. The tour guides and driver’s were very knowledgeable and entertaining.

A great way to learn your way around downtown. We chose to stay on the tour for the full two-hours first, then go back to the places we especially wanted to see. Everybody associated with the Bus was super-friendly and helpful. We were especially lucky to have Miss Bea as our tour guide.

Our guide was Awesome and entertaining. The driver even helped us and was really kind. What a great experience.

The maps and website are not very clear on which side of the road the bus stops are on. I waited outside the Chicago Theater for about 40 minutes before I realized the bus was picking up on the opposite side of the road. Luckily I was able to run and catch it at the end of the block and they let me on there. The first bus I hopped on I was not a fan of the female guide. She voiced many more opinions than facts and I didn't feel I learned anything on her tour. I hopped off at the Navy Pier for a while, and when I got back on the next bus, Matty the tour guide opened my eyes to a whole new Chicago! He was awesome and funny, and very informative which is what I look for in a tour like this. You could tell he cared about people's experience, and thus kept having to shush the rude patrons who where talking on the bus (which I was very grateful for). I would highly recommend BBTC - if you get the right tour guide it makes all the difference.

After our last stop of the day at the Museum, the bus cruised right by us, failing to pick us up well before the last scheduled pick up time. We had to take a cab back to the hotel which was right across the river from stop 1.
