Poor customer service, and water and soft drinks on board are sold at extremely expensive prices in US Dollars, around 14 times the consumer prices. I gave it 2 stars just for the tour. The bad cust... See more

The Blue route is ok to learn more about Golden horn area. It's intresting to look around from the bus, but it's not good to use it like hop -on hop-off, because of long time waiting. The frequency is 1 hour! So if you'll come out, you'll be wait a lot.
That's why I think that red route is terrible. A lot to see but you'll have no time to do that because of bus schedule. And one more. The bus stops has bad navigation and there is no information about schedule on it. Poor service.
It's too expensive and unsuitable.
Buses are seldom involved. There are few buses available. The driver does not stop at stops. With these buses you can not explore the city. It's too expensive and unsuitable. This is not a "hopon-hopoff" !!
Excellent way to experience Istanbul
Excellent way to experience all the main attractions in Istanbul.

It was the worst bus tours I ever bought, because I was in Istanbul for 3 days and I catch the bus 1 time only ???!!!!!
There are no buses running and I was waiting 3 hours for the bus to come but no hope??? And I gave up and took a taxi every time .
Our first BigBus experience was BAD!!!
Our first BigBus experience was literally terrible.
We tried to buy two tickets in the app. Right after the payment was proceeded, the app closed by itself, and we didn’t get any tickets or something. We have spent two hours trying to figure out, how we can get them, opening the app again and again, before we just had to buy another ones!

I bought the tickets from website on two days. There wasn't any problem. Everything was fine and convenient. With help to big bus I introduced with the all city. Thank you!
timing is off/nothing like a big bus tour
timing is off; they try to sell you more stuff even if you have an online ticket; they dont stop at the designated stops; never seen a big bus that stops at one place and asks everyone to go to another bus since that is the end of his tour. i will not recommend
The bus tour was great
The bus tour was great, but I initially waited in front of the W Hotel stop. I stayed there for 2.5 hours waiting for the bus and it never came. The following day I went to a different stop and got on the bus. As I took the tour, I realized that it skipped the W Hotel stop. That stop should be taken off the map if it doesn't regularly stop there.
Totally unprofessional
We decided to use the bus tour as a good way of seeing the whole city. We got off at Dolmabache Palace to look around with the aim of catching the next bus in an hour times. We got back to the bus stop 5 minutes early and the scheduled bus never turned up. Tried to ring the company and was hanged up on twice. Causing disruption to the rest of my days schedule. Extremely dissatisfied with the whole experience
Big Bus tour istanbul
The best way to tour istanbul in the shortest time and at a very reasonable price👍👍👍
Good to know every place in Istanbul
Good routes with also good information.
By the way, the buses were not clean and well. And also, I stayed in "Hard Rock Stop" at 16:35, when the sheduled pick up time is 16:45, and I have to wait until 17:40 for the bus. Really annoying waiting experience.
The best way to see the city!
The best way to do sightseeing if you have a short period of time to be spent in a city. Every time I travel, I always use Big bus because it goes around all the tourists spots in the city. It saves you time and money for the transport/taxi too. I really recommend this to all travelers like me!

The buses only run every hour and the for only 5-6 hours a day. Its only good to just sit on the tour and go around the whole tour once but if you plan on getting off and taking the next bus you lose a lot of time waiting for next bus and you are better off just having another transport option like metro or tram.
Good experience
Good overview of all the places within Istanbul with a pretty good audio guide. Would recommend the 2 day tour so one can cover all the places along both routes. Would be better if buses visited the stops more frequently like every 45 minutes or so instead of an hour.
One bus in an hour - too long time to wait. Cover from rain is not effective.
One bus in an hour - is too long waiting time. Two buses in an hour would be sufficient regularity.
When it is raining the cover on the second floor of the bus had holes and covered public from rain ineffectively.
Wi-fi worked well in all buses of the two routes (red and blue).

Wonderful service
Wonderful service! Staff was very friendly, especially Ulus who helped us a lot :)

We had a wonderful time and it was awesome. Something I would like to share, I forgot my bag in the bus, which was totally my fault...nonetheless I contacted the Omer Ozturk agent sales executive at BIG BUS, who assured me of looking into the matter, and Omer gave me the wonderful news of finding it and delivering it to our hotel. We would really like to thank him and BIG BUS for this wonderful hospitality.
Only runs every hour on each stop,
Very poor service where the bus is only running every one hour. So you have a long wait if your timing is wrong. Also drivers have little language skill in English without a guide on the bus this is difficult if you have questions. Taksim square starts after 10 am so its too late as well if hotel is in this area.
The best sightseeing tour in Istanbul
