Disappointing experience. The good things about the tour were that there were two routes and where they went, and that it was clear from the website that I could begin it at any stop.
There were lots of poor aspects. I am a native English speaker with no hearing loss. I stayed downstairs out of the sun. The microphone system was very inadequate. I had to switch seats several times to even get audio and then understanding was difficult. Also, I couldn't sit in the front seat by the side door because the mic cord wasn't long enough to reach its spot. The guides, who stayed upstairs, were TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS to having to speak slowly and clearly. Some Vietnamese tourists on the bus just gave up. It was only BY CHANCE toward the end of the second loop that I found the channel for the pre-recorded speaking, which was much easier to understand and gave better and more complete info. Additionally, throughout there was no forthcoming info about anything, like when the next bus left and where or where to get the tickets we purchased on-line or even that there was a pre-recorded channel. I had to ask about EVERYTHING.

We do Big Bus tours anytime we visit a new city. We've done them in London, Paris, Brussels, Rome, and Miami. Unfortunately, our Miami experience wasn't as great as our others.

We were displeased with the advertisements covering the lower level windows and we did not appreciate the content as much as we have appreciated the content in other cities.

I have taken a tour in May. Fantastic experience + super pleased with the tour guide Lance who nicely guided us during the journey and shared interesting 'inside' Miami stories! Made me explore and understand Miami from the locals perspective!

Great tour, informaive guide no complaints. Easy to book tickets on line and to get around Miami

Air conditioning on the first bus didn't work. very hot
No one to gave us earplugs to hear the talk or directed us
were to get them on entering the bus. I went up to
the driver and asking him were to get them. I had to go
up a narrow spiral staircase on the upper
deck. The bus was moving and that was dangerous for me or anyone in my party
Luckily a passage got them for us. We hoped off to sight see and got on another bus that was perfect. Air conditioned with a great guide.

I Booked 4 Tickets in the 21 April gor the Miami Tour today. My luggsge was lost After the Transatlantik flight so my reservationcide is in the lost bat. I Went zu the Bus i called the Hotline Nobody was Able to Find my reservation. I have the namens Adresse Telephone e-Mail Bot no way. I could Not Understand this Kind of Service.

Great tours of Miami. Reasonable price also.

This was a very enjoyable way to see Miami! I had no worries about traffic and parking AND I learned many facts about the city. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

What a great time. I had guests visiting from Thailand who were wanting to see Miami Beach. We had a great day with being able to hop on and hop off at our leisure. The audio earphones were a great addition and on bus guides were awesome with wonderful insights and info on many of the sights along the route. A great experience for locals and out of towners!

There are not enough buses, they don't run on schedule, and don't update locations on the app often enough.

The headsets were not always available, and the tour information on recording or from the guides were often not working even once we obtained headphones

Most upsetting of all was that the bus CRASHED into the side of another car, and we were told that we needed to Uber back to our hotel because the police response time was 1-3 hours and we would be stuck until the middle of the night for the night tour.

I requested a refund the next day for the night tour which was an hour late AND crashed, as well as a reimbursement for our $15 uber ride across town. The sales clerk at the booth told me to email the info number, which I did last month, and they never even responded with so much as an apology. HUGE waste of time and money.

We are really happy we toured on the bus. We felt like we saw the highlights of Miami in a time efficient way.

I have been to many cities around the world and taken many hop-on-hop-off busses and usually find them great. But I must say I can't recommend the Miami/Miami Beach one. Simply because there was not much information given on the busses.
Unfortunately the first guide was not much of a guide. He talked and was laughing a lot, and made jokes with some tourists but not much more. But I was really not interested in where the people that sat on the bus came from - I had taken the tour because I wanted to learn about the city! I switched to the recorded voice guide, but it was hard to hear the audio recording since the live-guide was really loud.
I sat on 3 different busses after getting of and on at some places. The guides on the two other busses was better (not so loud). But still there was not much guiding. Not even on the recordings (Switched between live and recorded to get as much info as possible) There was also very much music instead of guiding on the recorded guide. Seems that the tour around Miami was not really a tour, but a bus picking up people from different stops. Especially the Miami Beach Round.
I just cannot seem to assume that Miami has not much to offer guide wise - so unfortunately BigBusTours in Miami has a lot to do before I could recommend the tour to anyone visiting Miami.
There was supposed to be WiFi on the bus, but only one out of the three I sat on had.
The bus was not on time and there was sometimes a much longer wait than 30 min til the next bus arrived. And you cannot blame the traffic if the first bus in the morning (with no traffic) is 30 min late!!!

Tour was good. One of the tour guides thought that she was funnier than she was.

Attitude sucks. What was promised on web site is not my experience. As I had booked on line and had a voucher which was to be merely presented on the bus i was forced to go to stop one to exchange for a ticket. Used buses all over the world. This was really the worse and I won't use your company again, anywhere.

Guides were not as expected, save for one or two exceptions. Some young guides seemed like offering a stand-up show, with little sound data on the places toured but lot of personal opinions. In one of the buses the sound system did not work and the guide did not bother at all. I was surprised that Coral Gables was not included in the tour.

The bus arrived 45min after scheduled departure time, overall the tour then ended 1,5h later than it was supposed to - since we bought tickets for a group of us and we were on business trip, we missed our subsequent plans. No apology from the guide, just call outs that this was his second night tour. Not professional, I will not recommend this tour further. I also took part in the Day tour, which was a far better experience.
