Had only the best experience with the hop on hop off bus company. The buses are modern and clean. A few times guests came back with a complaint, but the team always handled it professionally.

Purchased a 48 hour Muscat pass. What a difference on both Days. Day one: arrived onboard Celebrity Constellation, plenty of Big Buses, complete circuit taking 2 1/2 hours, bus every 30 minutes, wit... See more

A very convenient & economical way (as compared to taking cabs) of seeing most of the highlights of Muscat. Efficiently run trips, every half-hour, helped in seeing various places at one's own pace... See more

very few buses

A lot more original tour buses around the city. Had intended to use the tour bus to get around a lot but could not because the buses where rarely at the designated hop on/ hop off locations

Great way to see London quickly!

Our first guide Chris was fantastic, applying the personal touch to the tidbits of information about landmarks. He was great! Second guide we came across spoke too quickly and had no personality (didn't catch his name), but we enjoy the sights nevertheless. The audio guided tour was different again (blue tour) and provided good insight into what we were seeing, with musical interludes. Rain ponchos and headsets were free to take with us.
I would recommend this tour company to anyone who wants to see London on a tight schedule!

1,5 h waiting to start the tour

We stayed at the cruise ship Aida and wanted to do the tour. We booked in advance. We needed nearly 1,5 houres to start the tour, because we had to change the bus, hstopped in front of the terminal, after 10 minutes they told us to leave the bus, we walked through the building, then we could go to the bus again, the good place we had before was occupied ... We would never book again one tour with Big Bus!!!!

Nice to see from the bus top, but WAY too pricey for what you actually get.

We were only able to actually ride for 3 stops because there is so much to see, and the busses were too full. Shady characters constantly pushing you to buy tickets for other attractions. If you get stuck on a bus that not English speaking, you have to use the head phones. 60 pounds for 2 people was totally not worth the price. Maybe about half that and only if you are going to use it for the full 24 hour period.

London - The overview

There is so much to see in London, you can be overwhelmed by how to see it all. But the Big Bus Tour allows you to see a fantastic overview of London and to strategize what you want to see in more detail. The guides were quite knowledgeable and also able to provide additional tidbits of information that made the tours that much more interesting. They were helpful and patient in helping us determine where to get off and on, and providing advise on which attracts where "Must Sees."

Beautiful but cold

The bus tour was really nicely done. If it was a nicer day things would have been better. Having to switch buses twice was atrocious. The buses were not consistent with how much of the top was covered so the final bus that we switched to had no cover. Buses in the winter should not have that as an option. I come from an extremely cold place and even I was numb by the end of the day.
The tour itself was quite informative and I really enjoyed it. I would definitely go again and make sure I start early enough to be able to walk to some places.

Great tour

It was a great experience to ride the tour bus, listen to the history of each sight as well as gather as many great shots/pictures at various angles. The experience would not have been the same if I would've toured on my own and I wouldn't have been able to see as many of the sights without breaking the bank to get to all of them separately. My friend and I chose to ride the bus all day the first time to get as many great pictures as possible. We bought a 2 day pass so the second day we road the tour bus and actually got off at the stops we wanted to explore. It's worth it for the price and if you've seen all you wanted you can use the bus as a means to get to different parts of the city!

Good value

For my first time in London, this tour provided a way for me to orient myself in the city. I much preferred the live your guide to the audio. Nick was great at being engaging, articulate, and he knew his city well. I liked that I could get off at a destination, explore, and then get back on the next bus. I only wish that they offered later hours or random evening tours of the city, particularly with the Christmas lights up.
