Had only the best experience with the hop on hop off bus company. The buses are modern and clean. A few times guests came back with a complaint, but the team always handled it professionally.

Great!
We enjoyed Big Bus Muscat very much even though the tickets were a little expensive. However, the hop on hop off concept gave us the freedom to roam about at the different stops without pressure. The ride was also enjoyable as the Open Top enabled us to see the beautiful city from a different angle than a normal car. The commentary was good and the staff were friendly. We bought the 48-hour ticket and just took a joy ride on the second day, enjoying lunch at the beach stop.
Big and beautiful
A very convenient service as Muscat is a big city and attractions are very spread out. By taking this tour it means you can hop on and off the bus and explore all the different locations.
Buses work like clockwork and we never had to wait long.
very nice family tour
Very nice tour and very friendly drivers the whole family enjoyed
Very good tour, very kind staff.
By BigBus it's possible have in a day a look on wonderful town of Muscat.
Only a complaint :there isn't a bus stop near the Great Mosque.
Amazing!
Very professional! I bought a 3 combo ticket (Muscat, Abu Dhabi & Dubai) and whas just perfect! I recomend to everyone that is on cruise!
great
We had a great trip and very informative service by all staff. We also used your services in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where we also enjoyed a great experience can't fault your company at all we had a really good time in all three places. Thank you
would be good if reliable
First of all, the Big Bus Tour in Muscat is quite expensive. Especially because it does not bring you to the main attraction, the Mosque. You have to spend extra Money for a taxi to get there.
Overall, the route was quite interesting, but you can not rely on "the bus runs every 30 minutes". Sometimes we had to wait nearly an hour - and this is not acceptable.

an experience in a fantasy world
we visited Muscat last week via Costa cruises. We heard and read about Muscat as a very special place. In most of the cities where we go we take the hop on and hop off bus and also this time we did. We had a great tour to all the special locations. People are friendly (Paula) and we saw all locaitons. Important point for Big Bus is: be on time. At the Marine View we , and others, had to wait more than 1 hour and the Marine View is not the place to be for more than 1 hour. Some of the people took a taxi and that is not good. Focus on Time is important!
Enjoyable experience despite delays but not worth the expense.
On 3 February we enjoyed the trip on the"top deck" and the informative commentary, Unfortunately because of a burst water main along the route there was not a 30 minute interval between buses.. At the Palace there was a 90 minute interval, which meant we had to wait for over 60 minutes after walking around the palace. As a result of two cruise ships in the port we experienced massive over crowding on our bus for about 10 minutes thus missing the next part of the route.. We did complain to the courier at one of the stops. He did offer us another days trip free, but we were unable to take up this offer. In conclusion we felt that it was expensive for a two hour trip, which did not have an added interest e.g. boat trip. Only extra was free cold water, which was appreciated.

Worth every penny
Pick us up at cruise ship. Informative commentary excellent tour. Returned us to ship. Overall brilliant day out.
Great service - pricey
Commentary was excellent, very informative. Staff were friendly and helpful. Even with the online booking discount, still thought it was very expensive.
Muscat big bus tour February 2016
There was two cruise ships in at once and to be honest the company could not cope. Big crowds everywhere friction building and people not getting of the buses for fear of not getting back on in a reasonable time. Felt rushed did seem to get better later on but not a good experience. If this had been the first time using Big bus it would have been our last but this was not the usual experience we have had. There was not a great deal to explore in Muscat to be honest but there was a concern by all we spoke to of getting another bus when needed. The final bad experience we had was when we wanted to go back to the ship we had to get off the bus we were on and wait about a quarter of an hour for a different bus while the one we got off parked 10 metres away what a joke? Told they had to do this to stick to a timetable yet there was no evidence of this throughout the rest of the day.

Long waiting for getting the first bus, but then a wonderful driving and day
There was no sign for the Big Bus at the port in front of the ship.
10 minutes walk to the Mutrah Souq, first bus coming was full, because
of two ships and to many People. Discussion with the guides, waiting for
nearly 40 minutes for the next bus. But then good explantions, good driving and getting out at the beach, hop-off at Shati Al Qurum and other stations.
No Problems with further buses, they were coming regulary.
At all stops the guides/Hostess friendly, helpful and proffessional.
convenient, but poor frequency and stops not always well located

An Information in this Situation is needed.
Online information needed
The route & stops should be listed online, but are not. I emailed & was told 3 stops, none of which were actual stops. Once we got the bus & took the tour it was great & we learned a lot about our new home. It was great for our visitors & kids.
