I booked a 2-day tour directly with the operator. The first day was basically a bust since the weather was really bad. I wrote to customer service and asked them if they would give me a partial credi... See more

The bus although expensive for what it is, was pleasant enough although I wouldn't recommend getting on and off regularly as you will not find a seat on top. Sitting inside really sux, you don't see... See more

Paris was a first-time experience for us (we got married on this trip!) and the Big Bus is the ONLY way to see as much of Paris as is possible. The drivers educate, inform and entertain with interest... See more

Two people, $95. Only 10 stops, of which 2 are skipped due to construction. Audio is boring, nothing shared that’s unusual or interesting, simply facts, and quite brief. The “filler” segments for when... See more

2 day hop on hop off

2 day hop on hop off, does what it says on the tin!
Easy to use and great for getting around and seeing the city if you have things planned in different areas.
Free headphones and ponchos (if needed)
Get the app, it’s really useful for keeping track of when the next will bus will arrive!
We had the 1 hour river cruise included, easy access next to the Eiffel Tower.
Overall good value, red route is more interesting than the blue route, especially if you have younger children.

Not enough stops

There was such a little amount of stops that you had to walk a lot of kilometers to get to the places you wanted to see on that stop and then turn around and walk all the way back. Other bus tours I've been on, you could just walk to the next stop. This one is very inconvenient. I paid for two days and only rode for one day and really regret the second day purchase.

Big bus is a big mistake

Big bus is a big mistake. There is no easy way to cath yiur next bus. Hop on hol off is inaccurate. Wait an hour no marked signs buses stop randomly and are very uncomfortable. After the first trip there s no guide telling you anything. They forgot to add the tour in English “ oh sorry the English one doesn’t work”
Find a more reputable company or take the train.
Then you can hop on and off for 10 % of the price.

Great way to see Paris!

Great way to see Paris. Offers an app you can download to know exactly where to meet bus and timetables. Very easy to navigate. Would recommend!

Ok for 1 Ride - Only for tourists

The bus is ok for the first ride so you can see where is everything and get familiar but is not worth it, I took the local train and is way better and less time wasted.

The bus waste too much time in areas that are just not closed and no need.

We boarded the bus Saturday at Notre…

We boarded the bus Saturday at Notre Dame around noon, on vacation some time rough
The tour itself was very enjoyable, with a terrific guide. Lots of facts with corny jokes thrown in
We saw the horrendous damage on CE, in fact I was surprised we even went there
Saw the Yellow Vests beginning to congregate
We switched lines near the opera house to head to Sacre Coeur
At Pigalle we were told there was a “detour” and should get off and walk to the basilica
On our way up, after the first set of steps,we stopped at a shop to get a map
The shopkeeper warmed us that the YV were on their way and should leave the neighborhood with the hour
we Made our way back down the steps toward the BB stop, unsure if you would even risk being so close
There were many soldiers (or police, not sure which) in full body gear
Including serious weaponry, riot shields and clubs. It was a very frightening experience
We went for the Metro, got all the way to the platform when there was an announcement that the metro stop was closed and to leave the station
When we got out, fortunately the BBwas there, very full. But we did get on
The whole frightening and confused incident could have been avoided if we had been told why there was a detour
We would have stayed On the bus
I feel your company was responsible for our safety and allowed us to unwittingly walk into potential danger
I did read the next day that it was a peaceful protest
But I had been following news of the YV demonstrations week by week,so I was aware of the damage, tear gas, water cannons etc that have been used to contain potential violence
So what we saw on the tour was well
presented, but management of the route in questionable at best
Thank you

Total waste of money

Total waste of money. After asking two people where to catch the bus, still had to Google map for directions. Had to ask for a map and headphones. Bus stop for Lourve a way from where other company stopped. Never made away of last bus, stranded at the eiffel tower, had to get a taxi back. Due to this missed the night tour which had been paid for. Could not get the required infornation about how to get back from the blue line, just said hop off and no stops were there to get back on. Non existent boat trip. Not even a mention on the app where to go. TOTAL RIP Off at over £100. Never using you again.

Unreliable Service - I waited for about 50 minutes in the rain

I waited for about 50 minutes in the rain and the bus didn't come. I sent them an email right away and all I got was an automated reply. At that point, I decided to use a different form of transportation because I didn't want to get rained on anymore. Then, I sent them an email to ask for a refund because I was never able to board the bus and couldn't use my ticket. Their response was that there was a protest in the area and it was not their "responsibility", therefore they only refunded half of my money. So, technically I paid half price for a service that I never used. Also, the other buses at the same location were running just fine every 10 minutes, so I don't know why they couldn't take a different street. Buy your ticket ahead of time at your own risk.

Fantastic way to experience Paris for a “first timer”. I would recommend this opportunity to anyone visiting. I also purchased the two day museum pass through Big Bus tours. If you want to skip lines and crowds be sure to start early. Merci!

Dirty but saw all the sites.

Saw all the major sites, there was never a live guide. The buses were always filthy. The weather was lovely so this was not the issue with cleaning. You couldn’t see out the upper front window. They were covered in dust and dirt as were the seats and railings. Personnel was harsh and not inviting.
