Nowhere near enough buses change of route not told
Staff tried hard to help but oversold on the day
Other operators seemed to have more buses more often
Could and should have been great
Please improve as we would like to use you again

I didn't like Bigbus Rome, but in other countries they are good, in rome they are too slow, buses taking too much time to come in the time when I was waiting I saw 3 or 4 buses for other companies. Also they have purple line which is not clear from where it will start. I go number 1 as they mentioned in. Their catalog they asked me to go to number 4.

Great routes, prices and explanation of the sites. Made our tour of Rome easy.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about Rome. The “red line” is convenient for a one or two day tour of Rome.
I recommend two days so you can prebook the Vatican and Colosseum skip the line tours.

The GOOD: buses were clean and everything was in good working order. The recorded info was informative.

The BAD: I was told that a Big Bus will come every 10-15 minutes but this was not true with our 2 day tickets in Rome. Our wait time averaged 25 minutes. I know the traffic can cause delays but every time we waited at each stop, at least 2-4 Gray-line and Roma buses stopped before we saw our Big Bus.

we really enjoyed our tour around the city on Big bus tours. We booked for the three day deluxe package. We used the bus every day and saw all of the sites. The only complaint was that we were not given a map when we got on the bus and did not know where we were at times. Though we were able to download the app which he the maps on it. Thank you.

The staff were excellent. They were very helpful and ensured that questions were answered.
There was confusion at termini stop as to where to catch the Red and Purple buses. Clearer signing is needed.

There is no way you’d get round Rome and see all the sights in 2 days without this tour.

Bigbustours/rome was very good. Booked it online in England and the whole thing worked very well when we went to exchange our voucher for tickets. The Staff were very good and spoke reasonable English. Be aware that the buses cannot get right up to most of the attractions so sometimes you will have to get off and walk to the sights you want to access. Would use them again if we went back to Rome. Try the night tour, quite different seeing Rome in the dark. One word of warning - make sure you get to the bus terminus in good time for the night time tour, it's first come, first served and the queues got very long, very quickly !

2 hours round the red line gives you your bearings. Second round we stopped to take time at some of the spectacles. You need to walk to se the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. This is the same for all the buses. Worth the time and money.

Have used Big bus tours before so no brainer. Great price and such a huge bonus to help seeing a city when you have limited time. Staff are helpful and courteous . Bus was clean and tidy and usually didn't have to wait to long for a bus after visiting a building etc.
Highly recommend and it does save your feet !

Average. Not as good as when we were in. San Fransisco. Live commentary would make this a five star. Staff helpful though.

An excellent way of seeing where things are and learning a little historical background. We had a two day pass and did most of the sightseeing the first day and the revisited places the second that we'd been made aware of by the tour commentary such as the Park over looking Rome accessed from above the Spanish steps. Being able to hop on and off also enabled to meander around parts not accessible by bus between stops. The Red route is clearly the most popular although the catacombs on the Purple route are worth seeing. All in all we were very glad to have booked the two day ticket as it made for a much more enjoyable experience when time overall is limited and you want to see as much as possible. The sunset views and lit up buildings on an evening are also well worth trying to catch.
