*review amended after engagement with finance support team.
I took bus with 4 adults and 4 kids. I mentioned to the driver the number of participants and paid full price. After reading the leaflet, I realized that there was an option for families 2 adults and 2 kids. By paying individually I paid $100 more than the family option ($544 instead of $440). When I complained about it to the driver, he told me that he sell what the customers ask for. I should have asked for family tickets. Basically, it’s my fault not to know what bigbustours is selling. Ultimate bad faith.
However, I search on ChatGPT all email addresses available to complain about my experience. Eventually, one person from Finance Team responded with apologies and offered to refund the difference. In 2 days, I received the money back on my card. Very nice person who deserves a promotion.
The owner of bus driver training must focus on social skills and customer satisfaction though.
Spoil your holiday
We bought the 48 hour tour a few months ago during our trip to Sydney. After the Opera House, we wanted to use it to see other important places, but when we got on the bus, the driver forced us to go upstairs despite the heavy hail and we had to sit on wet seats under the hail. No raincoats or umbrellas were provided. As if that wasn't enough, all the passengers, including us, were scolded by the driver from the moment we got on. If you don't want to be humiliated by a driver who has no human compassion and ruin your holiday like we did, stay away. I've been to many countries and this was by far my worst experience.
Shocking service
Shocking service, not enough drivers on both routes and way to expensive for the two day ticket. Sat for an hour on the bus on the blue route at Central Station. Explanation provided was that a driver had been taken from the blue route to the red route. Not enough buses running and large queues at each stop. Keep away and use the public transport. Bus 333 to Bondi Beach a dollar each way, way better service.
Far too slow
Far too slow , not enough buses and not the best for guided information
Appalling
Appalling. No busses , people waiting for more than an hour only to find the bus is full. Elderly standing in the bus as no seats. Not fit for purpose. If you sell the tickets you must provide the service. Not a good advert for Sydney at all.
Decent experience covering nice places.

Whenever I have friends or family coming to Sydney we take one of these tours on the first day. They are a really great way to see the city and we then pick spots that are buzzing to spend more time there.
Great tour
Great tour. Drivers are exceptional, great way to go around Sydney on a short stay. Good bus service whilst in Sydney. It was well organized, they also allow us to make several stops to view beautiful areas. Absolutely fantastic!

Would definitely recommend the Big Bus tour. It’s a great way to see Sydney and we also managed to do the Bondi trip in one day. Really friendly and helpful Drivers too!!
Not worth the money
1. Commentry not allways working
2. Not all stops wheel chair friendly so we have to lift wheel chair often
3.No announcements for the stops
4. First bus get to us 9:46 at stops 16 but on your app saying should arrive 9:22
We are very disappointed with your service we would not recommend your service to our friends

Really good. Would be helpful if the driver could advise what number stop we were stopping at.

Very informative. Amazing way to see most of the attractions of the city in just 2 hours. The playlist (aussie songs) in between the historical facts made eveeyone on board smile and dance! Thank you!
