We rented the electric assist bikes and had a great time. Made two laps of Central Park with several long stops along the way. Would definitely do it again.

An easy way to get around Central Park and pick up some of the history and special interest points from the guide.

No huge hills to bike up so suitable for anyone with a reasonable amount of fitness

The person in the shop was nice but the street vendors are a bit sketchy. There's lots to see in the park so the bikes are the way to go about it. Little tip - if you're going to just zoom around the perimeter of the park it takes way less than an hour. We went around twice and stopped at the fountain within an hour. The street vendors will tell you a different story and thats why I'm not giving 5 stars.

Bike rent NYC was awesome, we had an amazing time. The staff were friendly, the bikes were well maintained. The prices were a bit high, but comparable to other companies. Thanks for the great time!

Was in person in Central Park waiting to rent bikes. Was approached by a salesperson that I could “get a better deal booking online.” He stayed by my side the entire time while booking. I verified that I’d be getting the bike from the present location which he emphatically assured was true. Upon completion of the online rental, I step in line to pick up our bikes. I was told I had to go to a location several blocks away, towards midtown to pick them up. I was very frustrated and the salesperson who had been helping me was now “taking a break.” I was with my young daughter and did not want to ride bikes, even only a few blocks, through the streets of New York. They refused to refund my money. TOTAL CROOKS!

The services' attention was great, so were the 5 bikes we rented. We had an awesome time experience and the quality-price was also good. Thanks!

Bikes are OK. I felt the approach by the staff is somewhat impersonal or uninterested

Great service and value! A little bit of waiting but it was high season.

I did have good experiences when visiting with my family. But this time I came in with 14 people and, although reservations were made and a call prior to our visit was made, we had to wait 40 minutes. The older Make Co-worker Did oversee the situation. Returning the Bikes was even worse: the so-called senior staff lady was very impolite and again 30 minted for returning bikes.....

Everything was amazing...the bikes are good and the service as well. I recommend.

We had a great experience with getting outfitted, then riding around Central Park with our guide. The group was large, but there were plenty of stops for the guide to speak to the entire group. We had one of our teenagers with us, and I would recommend this for any family with kids say 10+.

The only negative thing I can say is that it was initially difficult finding the Bike Rent NYC (Central Park Rent Bike) location. That's not their fault - we were not familiar with Manhattan, and there was construction scaffolding everywhere.
