I just ordered a new bike and they were very helpful and the bike arrived on time.

I bought a Liv Flourish bike on Bike Rent NYC’s website. Great deal. Very helpful and friendly service on the phone to confirm size, shipping and assembly. It arrived in less than a week in excellent condition. Very happy.

Easy to deal with. Great communication before, during and after the sale. Price was reasonable.

Great experience! I ordered the Liv flourish fs1. I called a few times during the ordering process and always had someone to speak with. They always answered my questions. In fact I was even called by NYC Bike Rents to verify the frame size before the order was prepared. The bike was received in perfect condition in Wisc. in just a little over 1 week. My wife is very happy since we could not find this bike locally. NYC Bike's is a good company to do business with!!

Edward gave us an amazing guided tour of Central Park. As a native New Yorker, he had so much to share with us. I highly recommend this experience!

I just ordered 2 used electric scooters and it seems to be very easy and convenient to purchase and pick up my orders. Hopefully the entire process will be as easy as this has been so far. Will let you guys know own when I've completed the whole process.

bike arrived damaged. they didn't replace the part or give a partial refund. instead they filed a claim with UPS and pocketed the money. STAY AWAY!!

These people are scams in case of purchasing scooter from them! Found add on google about excellent condition Nineboot max g30 scooter for 700 which original price is 800 in amazon. Called them to make sure if the condition is good and they said its like new and in excellent condition. And i have to pay cash.( Guess the sale is unauthorized) went there and they bring me a used scooter among the renting one which has 1500 mile on it and lots of scratches, party broken back fender and asked for 700 and said this is it. When i said i was told that its almost new and very good condition, he replied i cant get a new one on that price, where as i asked for a better one not new one. I showed him few better ones and asked that i was told about such condition ones he said to go and buy new one. They are too rude and disrespectful and provide false information in case of purchasing.

Bike arrived damaged. Company filed a claim for the damage and put he money in their own pocket. We didn’t get a partial refund or any form of replacement part/bike. Do NOT buy anything from this company.

I couldn't find a Liv bike anywhere near me and most online carriers would not ship. Bike Rent NYC helped me choose which model and size was right for me and shipped it to Florida for only $40. Great experience, great bike, exactly what I wanted rides like a dream. The two bottom corners of the box split opened and the box itself looked pretty beat up. Surprisingly there was only a few scratches on the bike. The blue-green color is even prettier in person. Highly recommend buying from Bike RENT NYC!

I'm actually pretty disappointed as I purchased a bike on April 7th, 2021 and I received a purchase confirmation stating that I would receive a tracking number in 1-2 days and it is the 13th and still NOTHING.
I had called them on the 7th and they said they were preparing the bike for shipment, so NO I'm not happy as I could have already had a bike delivered if I would have used another company. I think when it is in writing that you will have updated information in 1-2 days they should provide that.

Beware, this company's website is inaccurate and their prices are not as listed. If you buy a bike, they may request an additional $100 over the posted value for shipping before they will send it to you.

I purchased a used tandem bike through their website. After collecting payment for the bike they informed me that shippings was actually $140, and not $40 as marked on the site when I purchased the bike.

They were very difficult to contact by phone when I attempted to correct this issue. I took me calling 2 different phone numbers 5 times over 2 days before I was able to finally reach someone.

Ultimately, they informed me they were sorry for what then deemed a "miscommunication", and that they were unwilling to ship and sell me the bike for the value posted on the website. So, I had them cancel the order.

As of this review, their website is still incorrect.

I had a fantastic experience that I will never forget. I highly recommend bikerent.nyc for tours of central park and brooklyn, I was flabbergasted by the knowledge of the tour guides! They were so friendly and the bikes were grade A as well.

I bought a used bike from this company in the end of May. At the time, they were offering free shipping in the city. I had to contact them, and tried to set up a time, but they were VERY unresponsive to emails. I understand that we're in the middle of a pandemic, but they need to get more organized with facilitating bike sales. I ended up just having my husband pick up the bike from the store a week later. When he got there, they only had one size available even though they advertised 3 sizes on the website. Flash forward a month, the bike is falling apart. I've taken excellent care of it and yet the front derailleur and chain broke off. I contacted the company about it: no response. I brought it to get fixed and tuned up at a local trusted bike shop, and they charged me $200. I should have bought a brand new bike for this price that actually fits me. Moral of the story, do not buy a used bike from this company.

I had an excellent experience with Bike rent. This place helped me a lot during this lockdown by providing me with a helpful (and coveted..) bike. As an essential worker, I am very grateful for their assistance and generosity.
