The item i ordered was a acerbis…
The item i ordered was a acerbis plastic skid plate for a 2025 yamaha tenere 700 no problem with the delivery side of things ,but said item would not fit had to remove my protective cover on side stand switch plus had to cut about 2inch off skid plate,and also had to drill out hole on underside of plate for for bolt to line up .It says on advert that the item fits the 2025 model but not without a bit of alteration.

I have just seen your review and the Skid plate is clearly the wrong one for your bike.. 100% a mistake by us and for some reason we added 2025 to the fitment of that skid plate when we should not... 10 out of 10 for just getting on with it and making it fit but honestly you should never of been in that situation and I am sorry for our mistake.. I'll contact you directly as well and maybe we can help some how.

Givi spares and staff product knowledge
I rang with an enquiry about Givi spare parts: the gentleman I spoke to confirmed that I had got the right part number- unfortunately they were out of stock. His good product knowledge enabled him to suggest an alternative Kappa brand part - which I ordered. It was delivered promptly and enabled me to repair my top box lock. I used to use the shop when I lived in the Midlands, so it’s good to see that they are still a good business to buy from.
