This is a great service. Contacting customer care can take a while but and delay is well worth it in savings.

Excellent bill sniper buster service provider laser sniper sharp to provide you with the ultimate lowest cost energy service provider. I love the service saves me hours hunting for the best energy service provider each year! Time is something I can never get back Bill Hero saves me both time and money per year!

Paid $79 for a year. Was sent an automated report about savings they supposedly found me. None of the plans were any better than the one I was on. I have enquired twice about this now and heard nothing back. Essentially donated them $79 for a useless automated email. Steer clear.

My wife tried to use Bill Hero to reduce our power bill. Despite providing our information and the requisite $50 it's now 6-months later and no correspondence whatsoever. Scammers. That's the last we'll ever see of our $50. This is really odd as they were recommended by Choice.

Makes our life so much easier - especially when utilities pricing appears so complicated. We’re about to renew our subscription for the 3rd year. Absolutely recommend.

In other words, it is for astute consumers, domestic and commercial.
Note, if you are a naturally sceptical member of the ‘Lazy Tax’ or ‘Loyalty Penalty’ clubs, then save yourself any further effort, stop reading and continue paying more than you have to, just for not shopping around for better electricity and or gas plans.
However, if a financial or emotional tipping point is imminent and uncertainty in finding a better plan to meet your current and future energy needs is holding you back, relax and read on.
The following few reasons may assist you to consider subscribing to this service: a) To appease your curiosity and expand your knowledge about the retailing of energy in Australia. b) To back a winner every month with little or no effort. c) To help your family and friends by gifting them this review, and d) To increase your wealth.
This essential and under-priced service is for the wise selection and purchase of household energy plans, of which there are more than a couple of hundred to choose from at any given time, all over the east coast of Australia.
My good fortune was in the timely discovery of Bill Hero through my membership of Choice. My forever rewards are the lowest possible energy expenditure months after months, grateful family and friends, and one less worry. So how good is that?
It is impossible to imagine a similar or better service on multiple points than Bill Hero.

They sent me a recommendation to a gas provider who does not have the package. And they also recommended an electricity provider whose prices were twice the price of what they recommended. And the customer service is unresponsive when I tried to reach them. Seems very shady.

Initially, Bill Hero saved us a good chunk of money! However, a couple of months later (now) that we want to change our plan, Bill Hero requiring us to pay for a subscription again!!! We have already subscribed for a year and paid the subscription. We emailed them a number of times, but no one got back to us ...

Update:
Bill Hero contacted us and explained that the only way to reassess our provider is through the link provided via email!!! That's a pretty odd way of using a service. So we should look for that email every time lol We ended up spending hours to figure out which provider is better for us and didn't use the Bill Hero.
I changed my review from 3 stars to 4, only because we paid and had to go manually and find the best provider for us.

I just wanna be fair and provide constructive feedback. Once again I change the rating, this time from 4 to 5 stars. Here is my suggestion: I would say at least provide this information on your website, like a notification or something when the user clicks on their profile. You may have explained this in the email, but I have many many subscriptions, I don't think we can expect everyone to remember that they should deal with the situation via email. When I went on the Bill Hero website and tried to figure out how should I upload my bills again, reassess the situation or get more information about price changes, it was directed me to pay for the Bill Hero subscription. I couldn't understand why and it seems it was bad timing for the Customer Service as no one got back to us within days until I left this review here.

$1,400 a year saving compared to current suppliers - nearly fell off my chair, had no idea we were paying so much over the odds.
Squirmed a bit at the annual charge, but it's a much more transparent business model than the other comparison sites that only consider the few suppliers from whom they get a commission.

➢ Someone who will consider EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE PLAN available in the entire market.
➢ And then do it EVERY SINGLE MONTH.
➢ And NEVER EVER BOTHER YOU until they actually find one worth switching to.
➢ And then ONLY CHARGE $5 a month for all of that effort.

Well that's Bill Hero in a nutshell.

I got my first bill from the recommended company (1st Energy). Calculated same bill at old company's rates (AGL). AGL would have charged me $110.00 whereas 1st Energy I am $191.61 in credit. That is for 3 months. That is 2 weeks groceries for me!

Dreadful. They do not answer emails. They do not call back when a support call is booked. No service delivered at all. Just awful

Energy bills are designed to confuse. I’ve tried but at the end of the day I’m only comparing a few. There are power and gas companies Bill Hero nominate that I’ve never heard of. They do the work and changing is easy enough. They let me get on with other things. Thank you!!

What a fantastic service. They have shown me huge savings on my gas and electricity bills. I find the task of understanding all the fine print quite irksome, and thankfully Bill Hero does it for me. I actually look forward to receiving instead of dreading my bills now.

I joined Bill Hero about 6 weeks ago and I’m way ahead already - well over $500 savings on my electricity bills for the coming year.
