Don't use Teignmouth!
Eye test booked for 1p.m. today. Walked the 1 min up the road, there just before 1 p.m. Women sitting in reception also waiting. Reception booked me in, filled in form, and as we were doing that, the other woman was taken in to a room.
I was asked to sit.
1.15 p.m. I walked out! I was told the other woman was an emergency, but then I was told her appointment was 12.30 - so why was she not in the exam room.
YOU DO NOT GET A SECOND CHANCE TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION.
When asked why they had not rung me to say running late I was told "you would have been on your way" Erm NO - I literally work just at the end of the road - 1 minute to get here and you have wasted 15 mins of my valuable lunch hour. If the exam takes 30 mins - that means almost ALL my lunch hour has gone and I have a lot to do. Asked to re-schedule - no way.
Sorry BILLS Opticians, I had great service from your Newton Abbot branch for quite a long time but your Teignmouth branch have just lost you a client. Do not blame your receptions - blame your Ms Hiscox!
