Really bad market

Really bad market. I placed an order around 7th of march, it supposed to come on 23th but it didin't. I made a complain and they just ignored me. They are thief, don't trust them!!

F Cramps not delivered.

What a wast of time. Ordered F cramps- delivery supposed to be 2-7 days. No notice about tracking clearly not even sent after 11 days. When phoned they said a mistake was made by the Manufacture with delivery. Asked for my money back.

Dont waste your time trying to save a few pence service atrocious.

Shocking from start to finish!

Shocking from start to finish!

I ordered 2 of Silverline 628645 SDS Plus TCT Masonry Drill Bit Set 10 Piece 4mm - 12mm that was showing in stock on their website. I waited 3 days and hadn't received any dispatch or tracking information so contacted them to find out what was happening. Received a reply stating that the item was out of stock with an 8 week wait and that they had tried to contact me by phone which was untrue.

They gave me the option to wait or cancel the order so I chose to cancel. 2 days later and I still had not received a refund or any response to my cancel request. 2 futher emails with no reply and I randomly received a text message with my refund details.

1 week later and the item is still showing in stock but I know that there is an 8 week wait with the manufacturer!

Avoid!

I wish I had read the reviews before shopping with them...
Ordered a number of things and on arrival one was missing (despite being included on the shipping invoice), when I contacted them they informed me it was out of stock and there was a '6 week wait'. It is interesting that it is the customers responsibility to contact them when something that is paid for did not arrive, nor was there any information on the website saying it is out of stock or any communication from them.

Truly terrible customer service, they did not even reply to my email after I told them how disappointed I was. If I had known that it wasn't in stock I would have not ordered from them and certainly will not be ordering from them in the future.

Not happy

Thought with them being a small business that they’d get the simple of things right, ordered some shoes for fence posts delivery was ok came in a few days like they said only when it turned up it wasn’t my order it was someone else’s with the wrong label on
When getting a email to say this had happened and I’d have to ring to organise pick up and then my order would have to be re-sent 5 days later they picked up the wrong order and the same guy delivered my order to the address that was a temporary one a week before after telling customer services that it was to be delivered to the billing address and not the address previous, no compensation offered
cheap For what I needed it for but not worth the hassle never again!

Silver line safe box

I ordered a product, the next day I received a call from customer support telling me that the product would be dispatched later than they had hoped.They were very pleasant professional and helpful. Customer service was great

How are they still trading??

I literally don’t know how this company is still operating. The customer service is truly appalling. I returned a faulty led bulb, signed for by Birco 4 weeks ago. I sent them the proof of signing asking when I would receive a replacement and was told about a returns backlog holding up the replacement. After 2 more emails chasing the replacement, they just started ignoring my communication.

I would never buy from this company again and would caution anyone else against doing so too.

Birco phillips lighting

Unfortunatly i mirror the concerns of this company recently purchased 2 outdoor lights which arrived packaged but when i opened the transit box the lights were in open boxes with shattered bulbs inside the units. Customer service repeatedly ignored emails and would not respond to phone calls ... tryit... you’ll end up with mail box 5 ... my lights are being finally returned for replacement ... i’ll update the review later???

Avoid - awful.

Ordered some garden shrub rakes - thought that postage was expensive at 6.95 but figured that they'd be sent quickly. One week later nothing had arrived so I contacted Birco to ask them to cancel the order as I'd had to go and buy the rakes at the garden centre. They refused to cancel the order claiming it had already been sent out. One day later I get notification that it was sent out the day after I'd asked them to cancel the order. So not only are they inefficient, they lie. Avoid like the plague.

Buyers Beware

Ordered spare ten days ago, still waiting although had email in response to my chase up saying they had been sent, still nothing, left message on answer phone to say still not delivered but no response.
Worse service possible! Buyers beware!

Lighting Spares - Birco Distribution Ltd

Ordered some lighting parts from this company online, once the order was placed and paid i was informed i would receive an email confirming and giving details of dispatch....I received nothing, no emails, no replies to emails or phone calls.....i had to raise a dispute through paypal only then receiving a full refund!!

You have been warned, avoid this company and any trading companies associated with Birco Distribution

Buy at your peril from The Switch Store aka Birco Distribution

One star is far more than this company deserves. We purchased a light switch via The Switch Store online, which turned out to be unsuitable for our walls. We emailed twice, left a message on their answerphone three times (there is no way to speak with a human being). We followed their return instructions which are incorrect, by the way, as Birco demands return within 7 days, which breaks the Consumer Contract Regulations. We returned the switch via Signed For and it was received by someone called Thompson. That was two weeks ago. We requested a swap rather than a refund initially, but have heard nothing. Today, we lodged a formal complaint about Birco Distribution with PayPal. If you pay by debit or credit card, contact your bank and request a chargeback, eventually the bank will remove their merchant services. Birco seems to trade online under a host of different names so check the refund page before proceeding with purchases. I’d highly recommend Electrical Sockets UK as a great alternative.

Unable to get refund for returned goods.

I have also posted this review against Discount Home Lighting; a trading name of Birco. I returned part of an order with a refund value of @£238 within 48 hours of receipt; one item was damaged on receipt. The goods were returned within the terms of their returns process. They were tracked and signed for on 18th June. Now, approaching 1 month later, and after several contacts with them, the latest email states 'my manager has added it to his list of issues and is working through them'. What does this indicate!? AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Possibly the worst internet company I…

Possibly the worst internet company I have dealt with. Zero customer service , broken promises and appalling communication. My situation was only partially resolved with a threat of legal action but dealing with these people is such hard work I couldn't be bothered to pursue it any further.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service - was sent a light with shades that looked totally different to the web pictures. Asked to return, was finally told (after two ignored emails and voicemails) that the unexpected patterns on the shades were visible online (which was absolutely not the case) so they refused to pay return postage.

Will never buy from this company again - back to Amazon and John Lewis for me, where they actually value their customers.

Zero Customer Service - Buyer Beware

This company has an appalling lack of customer service.
This has been my worst online ordering experience. In fact this is the first time I have felt the need to post a review.
We received a damaged item and notified the company within 5 days on delivery. Mark's tone to our correspondence on a request for a replacement item is also the worst that I have ever experienced. All blame for the damaged item was put on us, he accepted no blame at all. I am dumbfounded that a company with this lack of customer service can exist. Looking at the recent reviews, my experience is not uncommon.
