Lowest of the low

Lowest of the low, rude, ignorant, dim witted trolls reside in this building. It would be a great gain to humanity if it was swallowed into a massive sink hole.

Disgusting service

They removed me from the housing register over 5 years ago despite me having autism and having being born and living in Birmingham all my life.

I tried again to re-apply using there housing choice form on there Birmingham choice website and about 3 months later they e-mailed me to say 'Unfortunately, your housing application was incomplete and has been closed'.

This is despite me including my passport, birth certificate and autism assessment along with other attachments. I can only assume it was because I never included a utility bill.... which I don't have any of! ....as I am living with parents, there is no bills in my name. They also need bank or building society statements showing the name and address of the account holder for the last 3 months... not sure how I am meant to get these as these are all online based these days, (am I suppose to take photos with my mobile camera and print them off!) as well as payslips for the last 3 months. None of this was stated at the time of my application!

To make matters worse they have now closed my account completely so everything I filled in I have to do from scratch which took me ages to do with my carer the previous time, as I found this very hard and difficult to do. I am so upset I have to fill everything in again. I have spoken to my carer and she recommends me to fill it in again with her when I am more emotionally stable, despite not like liking where I currently live.

I just find filling it all in so distressing. This has really effected my mental health I just feel that they don't care about anyone and there main aim is to stop as many people as possible from applying for social housing.

Just wish I wasn't born in this city and had a council that cared.

They really don't care...

There's way too much to give a proper textual description, but many years of absolute hell.
This is only a synopsis ... Or check uklions online (com).
I'm Agoraphobic, and suffer Prosopagnosia, all my family are gone, so I'm entirely alone in the world.
The above description is used as an advantage where BCC are concerned..!
Years previously they had lied about me in a court of law, in order to evict me, but they lost, BIG TIME..!
In another home they attempted to make me pay to reverse someone else's home changes, But they Lost again.
I was forced to tolerate years of drug using neighbours blocking my driveway constantly, and in those same years I suffered their continual noise.
I'd spent my entire inheritance on that house, but the council repaid me by leaving me without heating and hot water for 3 months.
Within those years I was assaulted 4 times, and I was the one that the corrupt police arrested, but I was found not guilty due to my CCTV evidence.
The council did nothing to help me, in fact they used one of their housing officers to try to evict me yet again!
They failed, due to more CCTV and voice recordings.
Finally they allowed me to exchange away to another neglected house that had a dangerous boiler, which immediately had to have its gas capped off.
The house had several electric faults, and one was even a fire hazard.
A previous tenant had removed the upstairs toilet and fitted it into the kitchen quite dangerously.
I asked them to obey their own rules and revert the house to its original design.
They kept repeating 'you signed for it as it was'. But their own rules dictate that they have to make sure the house is safe for any exchange to be allowed.
So as I see it, the house exchange was illegal, and my signing was null and void, but they simply kept repeating, 'YOU SIGNED'..!
SO THEY DO NOTHING WHATSOEVER FOR ME, and I am at the end of my tether, deep depression, and live on pension credit (75).
Birmingham city council are completely corrupt, 'systemic Ageism' is practiced on a daily basis, and they should be replaced entirely.

If this was a business

If this was a business, the leadership would be sacked. The Council Tax system is BROKEN! We are forced to pay council tax when they take over a month to respond to emails, and charge for council tax in FULL, even though they still haven't given me any bins which I requested 3 months ago.

Wake up, people - it's time we fought against this injustice (legally).

They took £500 out of my bank for council tax despite me informing I was in a single person household. I cancelled direct debit due to this and have been paying but was a few weeks late with last payment. A week after paying I was sent a summons. Unsure what I’m paying for the roads are dirty, bins aren’t collected consistently and emergency services are a work in progress.

Again on visiting Yardley crem today

Again on visiting Yardley crem today, 18.7.2024 at 9. 20 with witness and few people attending there is devistation and destructive damage yet again created by council groundsmen who mow lawns, one being my parents kurb stone, pots every where, from kurb stones, flowers. Now this has been going on for over 3yrs, so I be seeking compensation as memorials are not cheap dwn to flowers are not cheap, no respect for dead nor living these groundsmen. I have proof being photos ect. Insulting my intelligence saying it's wildlife. They don't throw pots around nor use brooms to gather dirt at end of path either. How rude. It will be the papers next. Disgusting behaviour from groundsmen, need sacking. no dignity or respect given. No one monitoring these guys when doing job
How would you feel being your family? I would appreciate a call to disguss as I'm not happy, every time there is damage to resting place, shouldn't have to keep checking when I pay money/leasing for curbing stone.
Sort it out. So rude you did not get back to MP either so papers, TV it will be

Clean Air charges

Visited Birmingham for first time last month, was unaware of the clean air charges. Got charged £60 pcn a month later, glad to see that they can't A. Give warning that you were in the area and you need to pay before they send the pcn charge, and B. Why is there sod all notices around? They claim that they are listed around when entering the area, I saw nothing and would say I'm quite observant on the roads.

Failing this the fact that you are entering a city centre with lots of traffic and having to check your in the right lane etc, maybe have some of these signs inside the city centre? I parked up at a multistory car park, perfect place to just put a reminder for people about the clean air zone? Nah course not, just want to take more money from regular people right? Gonna avoid driving to Birmingham from now on, well done Birmingham council 👍

I've been complaining for around 4…

I've been complaining for around 4 years for the leaks and the dampness of my flat, they even moved me temporarily for over a year and there's still problems. They don't fix the problem they just try to hide it from me. They covered my bathroom walls in plastic so I couldn't see the leaks and smell from behind the bare wall. My circumstances are so bad I'm falling into depression and my daughter's are also having to suffer from the conditions that we live in. No one will help us.

Unfair charges

Incompetent financial management, then had the audacity to send me a liability order for £0.26 . I’m think the cost of the postage was three times that amount .Request for refund of unfair charge was ignored.

Corrupt Council

I am a Birmingham City Council tenant who has been unable to get a leak sorted for over 7 months. Several appointments were made to get the repair done with Fortem (council contractor) but they did not turn up. Despite the repeated attempts Fortem stated that I should have stayed in for 3 days after every appointment to wait for them (which I could not do because I work for the NHS) even though they had given me dates for the appointments. I didn't know that this leak was also affecting my neighbour who had also been complaining. Fortem forced entry with no notice other than ringing me from a private number on the day whilst I was at work. Despite how upsetting this has been for me the council has gone out of their way to cover this up and refuse to explain what they have done. It is upsetting that a LABOUR COUNCIL is so corrupt and abusive to its tenants but this has been going on for a very long time.

Council tax

Don't inform Birmingham council if any people move in or out of your property. They will give you a new account in debit and refuse to move the credit from your old account across to the new account, whilst chasing you for the money!

Genuinely baffled at how you could be this incompetent

Is Jason from the antisocial behaviour team fit for purpose?

This housing officer has deliberately showed biassed in a recent antisocial behaviour hate crime.
He is lied ,he has failed to follow company procedure.

A tenant has been the victim of a hate crime for the past 4 years and wanted to install a CCTV camera in order to collate evidence. Jason has denied the tenant.
But he has turned a blind eye to the fact that the tenants abuser has installed cctv camera, Is committing benefit fraud and is in blatant breach of the tenancy agreement.
Call evidence can be provided to substantiate my claim.

How can a bankrupt council still run…

How can a bankrupt council still run itself? As a bankrupt you are not allowed by law to run a business! Therefore the residents of Birmingham do not have to pay council tax as you are technically an illegal entity and barred from trading. Or is this council above the laws of the land?

Birmingham City Council is one of the worst in the West Midlands😡😡😡

One of the worst Council in the world😡😡😡Birmingham city council rent team is harassing me and keeps ending me letters about rent. I’ve paid all my rent but still they sending me warnings.

I called the rent team and spoke to one of the Indian lady she was so rude and wouldn’t listen to me. She was keep asking me personal questions. I told her that you don’t need to ask me those questions. When I started to explain she wouldn’t listen to me.

So I made a complaint about their staff and their service.
They came back with a very bad attitude the guy who handled my complaint was clearly defending her colleague😡😡😡I will be taking this matter further.

Also they recently increased rent about £12.00, a week.
Their flats a mould and disgusting, Roads are rubbish.
Shame on Birmingham City Council.

Birmingham city council had the best…

Birmingham city council had the best Science museum in the world in New Hall street. It contained hundreds of thousands of exhibits donated by businesses which has been based in the city.
With complete stupidity they dismantled it all and built millennium point where about 5% of the exhibits are on show. The rest is in storage. Hopeless

Disgusting city

Disgusting city, got a penalty charge notice for parking near a 'red route' - not a clue what that is and there were no warning notices anywhere near - just an excuse for this grubby city to claw back a bit of money from motorists to stave off bankruptcy. Was looking at a festival there but I'm not spending a penny in the city again if I can help it, everywhere you go you have a feeling you are going to get a fine for clean air zones or something else, we felt on edge all the time and judging by the state of the city you'd think they would be welcoming people - never again!
