I have been a Bitaroo customer a long time, and Bitaroo is by far the most convenient and easy method for adding Bitcoin to your portfolio. There's multiple ways to manage the account but my favourite by far has been setting up OSKO pay ID for auto-buy. Transfer $AUD a little each pay, automatically converted to BTC in your Bitaroo account. I use it like a high interest savings account, Bitaroo makes that possible - cannot thank them enough for this amazing yet easy to use service!

I've been using Bitaroo for >2 years and can't recommend them enough, they are all I need for bitcoin. Actual human support via email with fast responses. The platform is focused purely on Bitcoin (no crypto scams = high integrity) with a clean and lightweight interface. They keep improving, rolling out features like free Lightning deposits and withdrawals. I've had zero issues buying, selling, or withdrawing to cold storage. I also use Bitaroo for my SMSF, which has been a big win. Highly recommended.

Bitaroo was recommended to me and to be honest I had no idea what to do but found it real easy to navigate and asked about a wallet and was promptly responded to.

I am new to Bitaroo, but find it easy to use and the security level is high. The interface is easy to follow and intuitive.

The only issue I have with it is for some reason the ap doesn't let me trade. However, it's also simple to log in on my browser and trade that way. I am enjoying learning about bitcoin

I was brought to bitaroo by family members and I wouldn't choose anything else to buy sell or trade my BC. It's simple to use and easy to get started

Scam alert ! The worst experience with bitaroo ! Do not trust these people. You have been warned ! Be prepared to lose money.

They asked me to make a video to prove my identity and asked a whole bunch of really private questions and at the end they closed my account. I ended up losing alot of money, they don't even have a phone number! Very shady group hiding behind keyboards.

They use fake names which is really weird, if you use more money to buy, they will tell you " oh we have found a glitch in the system and you need answer questions as it's part of compliance" they will then cancel your account and tell you that they can't tell you why they deleting you.

You have to be very careful with these people. Fake people with names like Ben, Grace etc. Down right SHADY. The moment you question these cons they will block you.

I deposited $50 on the bitaroo.com.au site yesterday from my bank account, and it is still pending.
I have had tis account for over a year and have nt used it for a while.
The funds were sent OSKO so they have them, and have not credited them to my account. I sent them a support ticket and got a ridiculous reply back that they will check with their compliance department and get back to me in one to two days .
Definitely the last time I will put a cent on this rubbish site.
As you can further read th lame response I received from this idiotic site.
I'm a money launder or as I was trying to pass a $50 stollen funds from my bank account.
This seems to be a pathetic weak minded attitude that nearly all so called Aussie crypto selling sites that they promote themselves to be.
They actually rejected my $50 and sent it back to my bank account.

My name is David Bradley. I recently tried to open an account with Bitaroo. I went through the identification process but when I had to identify the address on my driver's licence I had a problem with my bank statement which had my postal address. In contrast, my driver's licence had my physical address on it. How do I overcome this anomaly?

They’re quick to roll out new features, and their strong focus on security really puts my mind at ease. The customer support is also great, resolving any issues - even on weekends! Their app is super easy to use and makes trading seamless. I also appreciate that they focus solely on Bitcoin - it gives me confidence in their integrity, which is why I’ve also set up my SMSF with them. Happy customer!

after so many verification my limt was 250k.
Pay $39500 to buy BTC , could not processed for 5days,on the end Bitaroo suspended my acc. for 3 months. lost 2236.33 on Bitaroo incompetency business practice. The must be doing for reason to SCAM people. This company is a Fraud . ASIC will have to INVESTIGATE .

I did the required video, deposited funds from Revolut. It is classed as a third-party and not accepted so the funds went back to my account.

I deposited the funds from another bank that was stopped with the same message.
It was released into my account. I bought bitcoin. I tried to withdraw it.
Screen came up that it was pending if it didn’t go through in 24 hours contact Support. I contacted Support eventually I got this reply

As a precautionary measure due to abnormal activity on this account, BTC withdrawals have been temporarily disabled for a minimum period of 3 months.

Any pending bitcoin withdrawals have been cancelled. However, the account is fully accessible for all other actions, allowing you to deposit AUD, buy BTC, sell your BTC or pay a bill with BPay at any time.

I understand that the inability to withdraw BTC may not be the outcome you were hoping for. On a positive note, you still have the flexibility to buy, hold, and sell BTC as desired.

I asked whether it was my account because The only thing I had done was deposit funds and buy bitcoin
The reply is, something like, they’re not obliged to tell you
I can only say bad experience, and waste of my time and effort.
And around $10.

I gave Bitaroo 4 stars, for ease of use, a nice basic trading option, low fees, better bitcoin prices than their main opposition. They even support Lightning for faster transfers if the receiving wallet does as well. Also, you can set your own Bitcoin network transfer fee from 3 options, Fast, Medium and Slow, which is great. Just be aware that the cheapest option may slow up confirmation of your transfer to days, not hours. (I had one transfer to my self custody wallet that took 3 days to be confirmed, so be aware that if there is a lot of action happening with Bitcoin traffic at the time, it could be quite slow if you choose the cheapest fee). Like any reputable exchange, you will need to undergo their KYC procedures, but I found the process to be very quick and I was buying and trading in no time. The support is excellent. Having used a number of exchanges, I can say that Bitaroo offers a top notch experience, better than most. They also have Vault, which is their self-custody wallet for which they charge an ongoing fee based on the value of your stored bitcoin. The only downside is that this option might be a little expensive if you have to store a lot of BTC. Perhaps another option, paid up front, would be more attractive to some users?

Bitaroo also supports API syncing to your crypto tax software, which will come in handy at tax time.

With an app for smartphones as well as desktop ability, you are well covered to manage your Bitcoin.

There is always room for a little improvement, but overall, Bitaroo offers a great experience for both seasoned Bitcoin traders and novices.

Edit 3/6/2024: After using Bitaroo for a number of trades, I feel that an update is order.

I had been putting through some daily buy orders using their trading platform and when transferring Bitcoin to my self custody wallet, something must have triggered an anti-fraud alert. I contacted them and I had to perform a requested procedure to assure them that all was well before they would release my Bitcoin. Now this could be considered by some to be an inconvenience, but really it's somewhat reassuring to know that Bitaroo has my back. I would consider this to be another layer of security protecting their customers from scammers. So while the procedure was was a slight inconvenience, it's actually great customer service. Hence the upgrade to 5 Stars :)

I have been a Bitaroo user for around a year and my experience has been nothing short of amazing.

Purchases are always completed with ease and their customer service is very prompt to reply to any queries. Their system also integrates flawlessly with Koinly for tax time.

Cannot recommend them enough, extremely impressed.
