Fast support response time / favourite wallet
In my opinion, the BitBox is one of the most secure hardware wallets, if not the most secure.
And when I was looking for the export function in the app, I received helpful feedback from support within two hours. The only thing that needs updating is the FAQ.

bought my BitBox02 in March 2021 and…
bought my BitBox02 in March 2021 and barely used it, always keeping it well protected. A few weeks ago in 2025, I plugged it in and the screen stayed completely black, even though the device was still functioning and asking for my recovery words. I contacted BitBox support, and after explaining the situation they confirmed it was clearly a hardware failure in the display.
Even though the device was far beyond the two-year warranty, BitBox handled the case with great professionalism. They explained the possible causes, acknowledged how carefully I had treated it, and decided to replace the unit at no cost.
The replacement arrived quickly and works perfectly. I’m very satisfied with the after-sales service, which was responsive, helpful, and truly customer-oriented.

Exchange of a defect bitbox after quarantee
I had an issue with my bitbox. I was still working but the brightness of the screen got less and less. So I asked the support what we can do even my bitbox is not over 2 years old. Without any beating about the bush the support helped me and sent me a new bitbox in the end. That was a great experience.

Such a great support
I am still new to the topic of Bitcoin, and through the "Blocktrainer's" (a German Bitcoin-YouTuber) recommandation I found BitBox, and ordered the BitBox02 Nova. I am still waiting for it to be delivered.
I keep watching videos about Bitcoin, and decided to eventually buy a steel wallet backup.
The thing is, I am physically handicapped, and thus most steel wallets I can't use, as I only have one fully functional hand to do things.
I eventually found the Steelwallet Pro in the Bitbox shop. I was really excited as I believed this one to be usable for me.
Not fully sure, I first asked ChatGPT, and eventually contacted the Bitbox support to ask if I could handle the stetup of this steel wallet with my handicap.
Luciano answered in less than a day, and came up with several ideas. I really felt taken care of.
I had several follow-up questions, and he answered them with great care in my view.
I can't speak yet about the products. But the support was really great.
